This is fucking sweet. I play the air bass to almost every faith song in the car cause it’s so superior. This is great to see a breakdown of the actual notes
@@alpino76 You're welcome. Based on the cover you do, I get you're into rock. But if you're open for something more underground, and sonically more challenging, I hardly recommend NoMeansNo. It's a punk band from Canada, but no like any other punk band. They break the punk mold in all possible ways. Check out the bass in this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4CTWgZ60EmQ.html
I remember in the early 1990's that Guitar World magazine transcribed Falling To Pieces and I just laughed when I saw it. Instead of playing it like yourself, the tab said to slap the open A string but then quickly do a hammer on/hammer off on the first fret. So stupid.
Feeling like you learned this from tab. Most of it is right, but the intro is wrong. Timing could graduate as well. Much respect though to put it out there \m/ \m/
I always learned songs by ear and played in my taste, that’s why they’re never very similar to the original 😂. Thanks a lot for watching, comment and suggestions 😉
all of it is wrong, excessive and played incorrectly.. billy gould doesn't play slap bass in this song except for a fill in the 2nd verse and that intro is A/A# trill, not a string bend. to my ears, none of it sounds good what he's done because it's overdone and excessive, wheras billy gould kept it down, simple and played for the song 👍
