Fallout’s Insane Father Elijah | FULL Fallout Lore 

I would love to see more Cyberpunk lore. Maybe the history of the Nomad clans?

a couple of fallout ideas could be dog/god, Herbert daring dashwood, anything/anyone from the Pitt dlc in fallout 3 but asher specifically and maybe the story of the trogs? :)

And then says "n-no no I still have pip boy light doesn't work!" Even though he insults us for having one I never got the ending of him locked in begging to be let out despite doing everything to get it 😂

All interesting points, though I think it was more bethesda wanting to make them grand in fallout 4 than any type of in world, in lore, explanation. Elijah wanted to wipe the slate clean. No previous iterations on the Mojave, period. No NCR, no legion, no Khans, no Brotherhood, and no Axioms. He wanted to reshape the world, reshape it in a way where it was nothing like what happened at Helios one; begin again and let go of the wasteland as it is so the future may embrace a better world with rules and axioms set down by Elijah, to fufill his prime directive; start a new chapter of the brotherhood, again, and to reshape the wasteland into a "better" place, but only for his own.

He’s in Puesta Del Sol north. If you stand on a certain rooftop you can receive a new radio signal, and listening to it, you hear him talking to himself. So it’s safe to say he’s there for the most part until you activate the gala event, then books it to the casino first before the four of us.

There is no possible fate that could befall Father Elijah which isn’t still too good for him. …I settled for stealing literally every single thing which wasn’t bolted to the walls, sneaking past him + his barrier, and blowing him up with 5 bottle cap mines right underneath his dumb, obnoxious, traitorous, schizophrenic feet. But he still somehow deserves much much much much worse

But yes, Father Elijah is the culmination of every single ounce of that pretentiousness in a single character. …Did you not play the game? Dude lies and tricks you, gasses and kidnaps you, strips you of all possessions, puts a bomb collar on you, threatens to kill you if you don’t cooperate, tells you and forces you to go on an easter egg hunt across an abandoned village littered with nigh immortal and insane zombie-ghost people and boobytraps along with an invincible hologram death security system…all the while needing to cooperate with a bunch of other colorful cast that he did the exact same thing to. And if that isn’t bad enough…he tries to kill you anyways when you succeed? I don’t care what he believes in…That deserves a fatman to the face. It’s only a bonus to how loathable he is when he turns out to be an idealistic and arrogant prick on top of the other stuff. There is literally no New Vegas character worse than Father Elijah. Prove me wrong.

Good question, always wondered that about the Vault Tec corporation high ups. No doubt there had to be at least one main super high tech controlled Vault for them that worked like they told their customers they would. President would of been housed in some super hight tech military/ presidential bunker along with essential aids and staff and military personnel no doubt. Covert bunker not even Vault Tec was privvy too. But probably Enclave knew about. Enclave basically being the shadow government, back up if the main elected president and staff didn't survive.

It's just "everything is shit now and every character you like died." It's grimdark crap that's poorly designed

​@@istvanbrooks5319yeah , have to agree. Turns Zion into same hell hole with clouds and Joshua into a wendigo.. Joshua would be the last guy to cannibalise anyone I think. Especially not his precious tribals or Daniel etc Looks like an ok survival game like Frost. But never played, and just glad that is not canon lore for Joshua. An avenging angel, a redeemed holy man ,born out of fire and sheer will, strength and determination to become victim to some lowly toxic clouds and spores... I don't think so. Guy was too smart and too quick and strong to not see something like that coming at Zion a mile off. He's a legend of Fallout, a beloved legendary survivor. Much like Randall Clark. But Joshua needs to survive. He's a beacon of hope , not just for his Mormon - New Canaanites, and tribals. But for anyone that looks up to him and relates on any level. He's a living Fallout legend, and should always remain so.

Based on some of his dialouge at the fountain, I think that canonically he is supposed to use an upgraded Holorifle. But I think the developers just gave him a gauss rifle. Prehaps due to issues with giving an NPC a new weapon

Lore masters find and extrapolate pieces of information from various other canon , and not so canon sources linked to the games and it's known and not so well known lore. That's how they become lore masters yeah. Fallout Wiki, is a great spot , an encyclopedia of any known Fallout information.

He would of annihilated the NCR and they would of held Helios one. He would of annihilated just about all NCR forces in Mojave , assuming he didn't target the Strip either.
