Eric Estrada’s character “Adam” is clearly a former black armour Ranger veteran, which were the NCR’s most elite fighting force in the games. We’ll most likely see more of them next season hunting the Ghoul.

vault four is not using cold fusion, it just has regular fusion core. Vault four are the descendants of the original vault four test subjects. They are looking after the remaining experiments and caring for them. As you go into episode eight keep in mind what Lucy said about how her father would feel about destroying a community. IMO Betty killed the prisoners, they were no longer useful as a distraction. Norm is figuring stuff out.

going back to your remark about vault 69, yes it was a thing, at the start, when the bombs fell, it was populated by 999 women and 1 man, there was also vault 68, populated by 999 men and 1 woman, it was simular to vaults 31 to 33, ie. 68 and 69 and a communication line between each other-- (it meant to be cannon in some way in the OLD games, but never got passed the drawing table and fell into fan fiction territory.

I mean I've played a few fallout games and the ghouls are resilient but this, Wolverine lvl regeneration is a bit much...

spoilers. . . . max skipped the dialog, chose violence lol i love these main chars all 3.5 (dog meat is the .5), her high charisma, maxs low int lol the ghouls max luck and perc all fun also i love the snake oil salesman, perfect casting, and just the right amount of odd and weird lol

See? Character growth. The Max at the beginning would have kept the Fusion Core without hesitation. Lucy is changing him to be gentler and changing him to think and feel for others outside of The Brotherhood. And, what happens to them is more existential than bad...though, it could be seen as bad. And the theory about the snake oil salesman's "elixir" is that it is FEV (Forced Evolutionary Virus), and he has become a low-level Supermutant, not a Ghoul, because Ghouls don't heal like that.
