nice video, but you forgot ledoux's hockey mask wich can only be obtained during the nuka cola challenge since after you finish it ledoux doesn't spawn in front of the red racer factory anymore. had to learn that the hard way. ;)
I realize this video is a few years old by now, but still I thought it important to mention that there's the boy scout outfit in lil lamplight and the mole costume which you can reverse pickpocket off the kids, and you can also obtain the antagonizer, AND mechanist's outfits and unique weapons, along with 2 of each helmet if you go to one and tell them you'll kill the other, then reverse pickpocket their unique gear, and go to the other, drop the helmet and give them the armor, to which they will respond as if you've completed the quest in their favor, then you can kill them and present the armor to the other, dropping the helmet first and you'll be left with Ant's Sting Protectron's Gaze Antagonizer's helmet (x2) Antagonizer's armor Mechanist's helmet (x2) Mechanist's armor So that was long winded but it is an option to anyone curious

This lacks the ranger combat helmet sat atop the dome of Donovan inside ranger compound once the attached quest is completed and assuming he survived the events. As well as the Talon combat helmet, owned by the aforementioned faction's leader: Commander Jabsco - Inside fort bannister. Also missing is both Doctor Li's lab coat... I'll give you one good guess were it is... and the Surgeon's lab coat, which belongs to one of Fallout 3's many mad scientist archetypes within the Red Racer Factory. Speaking of the factory, this vid misses the opportunity to tell you about Ledoux's hockey mask. which can be acquired out in the parking lot of said factory when a very well hidden unmarked quest within the Nuka Cola factory is followed. One of the most elusive and interesting pieces that can be obtained is Dad's Wasteland outfit. this is because it was likely never intended to be obtained by the player at all. despite this it can be gotten WITHOUT the use of console commands or serious glitching. you have two shots to reverse pickpocket him before the quests associated go too far. however one can also get this piece of clothing as well as colonel Autumn's uniform/pistol much more early than intended by using the little known camera swing maneuver to access dad's and Autumn's inventory at a pivotal moment in the quest "The waters of life" Lastly of course already addressed was the failed inclusion of Elder Lyon's robes.

You actually forgot the very first piece of Unique apparel. In the beginning of the game, after amata Has talked to you and you try to escape, you are interrupted by Butch, the leader of the tunnel snakes, he pleads with you to save his mom and if you help him he gives you the tunnel snakes jacket.
Ya know, funny story how i got the t-51B. So, i was down in a tunnel, killin raiders, and i thought hey, what the hell. Lets lead them into a mine. So i dropped one, and promptly forgot about it entirely. So i do this ghouls quest, losing karma along the way, and i get him his keys. So then he leaves. So i go back into the tunnels, i forget where i was going, and i see the same guy, runnin along. I'm all, "eh, lets follow him. This'll be interesting" and it really was so. Remember that mine? Welp... He tripped it. I had promptly forgot about it, and had left it there, and it killed him instantly. I took my keys (after laughing for 10 minutes straight) and left his sorry ass. Now i laugh hysterically whenever 3-dog says he is gonna "talk to a certain ghoul". No you're not, he died in an unmarked grave, to a careless mine. GG.
I saw a speed run on F2 that took about 20 minutes... they skipped getting the FOB though. Wouldn't take too much time. You'd need a serious vacation for a marathon like that though.
You forgot about Dad's Wasteland Outfit, a unique variant of the Vault 101 Utility Jumpsuits, you can get it off of your father either by Reverse-Pickpocketing better gear onto him or by going into third person and tilting the camera around the door to the Project Purity chamber after he does from Radiation.
You don’t have to max crows caravan out to get the EyeBot helmet. I got it during the waters of life quest, as you move through the sewer towards the citadel, you can find the eyebot helmet on a desk
You can get the T51B power armor if you complete the operation Anchorage DLC. Be aware there's a plot twist just before you collect it, but nothing massive thoe. Also when you take the power armor you complete the quest (you gotta shoot em in the head). So start the quest then complete the DLC and you get the same reward but you kill two birds with one stone.
Yeah when I was first playing through I never knew sibley was going to do that so I was just happily grabbing everything and all of the sudden I heard"see you there" and next all I heard was gunshots and all through the entire battle until they both dropped dead I was screaming "what's going on"
Just something worth mention, you can have Col.Autumn's coat for a good chunk of the game regardless if you have broken steel or not. When *SPOILERS* your dad dies at project purity, if you go up to the door that leads into the room where your dad and Col.Autumn dies and go into thrid persona nd move the camera around you can loot the bodies of your father which will contain his unique jumsuit and Col.Autumn which will contain his jacket and his unique pistol, which to my knowledge has no additional effects. Also when you go to kill him in the quest take it back you can kill him and just leave. There is nothing stopping you. I thought this was just worth some mention. Great video and cant wait for the next one.

The T51-B power armor is so incredibly fragile tho, I take two hits from a pistol, and the DR decreases dramatically. Probably why they had the Winterized version in Anchorage. Which, I have found, if you take the Toughness and cyborg perk, make it so you have 7 or more endurance and strength (and select those answers associated with them) when you talk to Moira about your progress on the Wasteland survival guide, and then, destroy Harold's heart in Oasis, you'll have no problem gaining 85 DR, the maximum amount in the game. If there was no cap, you have 87 or 88 by then, but still, a worthwhile investment.
You don't need the loss of karma from pickpocketing or murdering Simms to get the Sheriff's Duster. Just let Burke kill him after you tell Simms he was plotting to destroy Megaton. You'll even get good karma for killing Burke after he kills Simms. If your looking for good karma, That's how I got my Sheriff's Duster. Plus you can get the Strength bobblehead from Simms house with the key.
there is actually a winterized version of the T-51B power armor in the Outcast outpost in DC but you have to complete all of the Anchorage missions to get to it and the best part is that the armor is perfectly intact and you can uses other power armors to fix it like the Outcast of Brotherhood of Steel armor.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Completing Operation Anchorage DLC will complete the "Shoot em in the head quest" Doing so will not allow you to begin, continue, or even finish the quest.
I Know im years late, but as far as im aware there's a piece of armor which is either quite rare or unique that did not got mentioned in the video nor comments, that would be the "Talon Combat Helmet", you obtain it from Comander Jabsco, funny thing is he carries another unique item, "Occam's Razor" a unique combat Knife, both are found in his person, he is found in "Fort Banister."
As a tip for getting the “shady hat” just full on run to the mirelurk nest and ignore the mirelurks.. I always figured if you didn’t have a sneak build that it was impossible.. then I just figured you can run past them 😂
+No One Vault 77 didn't have 999 puppets, I mean, it had puppets, but you're getting it confused with vault 68 and 69, which had 1 woman and 999 men, and 1 man and 999 women
U can get Colonel autumns uniform when your dad dies you just have to go in third person and twist the camera around while your character is looking at the glass. Keep moving the camera angle until it says search colonel autumn. U can also get dad's wasteland outfit
Ranger Combat Armor is a no Brainer, especially if you're playing a good character, since the constant stream of Talon Company mercs provide a renewable resource of repair parts.
also there is a unique lab coat " The Surgeon's Lab Coat " found on who else... The Surgeon gives a bonus to med. +10 and science +5, she can be found in the back of the red racer factory, love your videos and have used ALL of them to fill out my collection of wasteland goodies.
One time when I was playing fallout 3 I was walking on the side of ten penny tower and I saw a dead body but I didn't know who's it was but then I noticed it was tenpenny and I was like WHAT?!? He had a sniper and I took his suit and sniper
So glad to hear the praise for the t51b. It’s my favorite armor in the game and I wear that thing everywhere. With it, deathclaws can’t do jackshit and you feel like a literal tank. Cause it’s overpowered I do typically wait till the final fight and then get the armor
I wear naughty nightwear every time i get into a conversation. One of the most useful non-combat clothing/armors in the game. That and the advanced radiation suit. Me personally, I don't care for the environment suit much.
I FOUND A MISSED PIECE: The Surgeon's Lab Coat Damage Resistance: 2 Special effects: +10 Medicine +5 Science You can find it in a secret, post war testing facility in the Red Racer Factory. Fight past the Feral Ghouls and once you find the Super Mutants you are on the right path. It would help to have a science and lock-pick skill of 50. Make it to the main lab and you can kill the raider scientist named "The Surgeon" and you can get the item. Be careful as he has a missile launcher. Check the terminals to see what cool things went on in this location, too!
"Now you can get into a fist fight with a Deathclaw." How about taking on Aliens? During Mothership Zeta, with you guide BTW, I took the normal T-51b power armor and I loved it. Especially when I took Elliot with me and we fought in the Cryo Labs. If only the conversation with him would have been better.

Yeah, I would imagine so. I try to comment as much as I can on videos and submitters that deserve it. It's just that this website is plagued with morons to the point that the comments section of most videos is like a verbal toilet. Plus, when a site gives literally anyone the ability to post videos of anything; you're gonna find more crap than gold, that's for sure. Anyway, I hope you plan on doing plenty of Fallout videos. It's just a shame thesurvivor2929 was a hoax, because that would have made mine, and a LOT of other people's year. That would have been a lot of fun to talk about, because it would have confirmed a ton of rumors.
Thanks so much for the video! I played fallout 3 when I was 13. I rented it so I only got to finish the main questline. Which I loved. I personally enjoyed fallout 3 and can say its my favorite. I recently bought it on the Xbox live marketplace and am starting to engulf myself back into the fallout 3 universe. I plan on collecting all rare armour. This helps me greatly. I also have the broken steel DLC. Can you tell me which DLC you prefer, point lookout looks good for scares or the Pitt. Which ironically I'm from Pennsylvania so the Pitt taking place in Pittsburgh is ironic. But thanks for the video!!! Much appreciated.

Hey Caedo I played fallout 3 yesterday to get all of the unique armor and apparel and I came across a unique variant of the merc trouble maker armor in vault 106 in the locker next to the bed located in the room all the way to the back of the living quarters. The armor is called the waste legends armor
vault 106?? there's a variant of the VETERAN armor as well at the Mason Dixon salvage place i believe. It's called the Wateland Legend OUTFIT, but it's just literally rennamed no special bonus different then the veteran. does the Armor you mention give different stats than the trouble maker outfit? or is it the same as the common piece?
That's the armor i was talking about. The armor effects the same the only difference between the veteran outfit and legend outfit is the neck collar. What makes it unique is that it is the RAREST of of the MERC outfits and can only be encounter at High level OR Really,Really high luck
i was level 8 with 4 points of luck so idk what you're talking about. they have no visible or stat difference. I think they might just be glitched items that were supposed to be useful, but the Devs didn't have time to finish them
What about Jame's or Dad's Wasteland Outfit? You can get it by doing the same trick to get Colonel Autumn's 10mm Pistol in the rounda, I found out that was actually a think ages ago when I was just looking at Autumn's body in there and I saw the prompt to Search Dad
you know while your doing the Riley's rangers quest. if u let them fight the super mutans and the guy with the unique minigun dies you can get his gun and the armor. and then in the end you can get two unique miniguns
Love how he says you can now get into a fight with a deathclaw with the T51B power armor which is indead true ive done it did i win yes and still had 50% hp no stimpaks :D
The t-51b is very cool but the wintrized t-51b takes a whole lot longer to go down because once I killed every person I saw and it's Dr did not go down at all though the normals Dr is higher I would still prefer winterized
Hey bro, you forgot about General (?) Lyon's power armor. You can get it by destroying the Citadel. Of course, you'll have to kill her. It's a pretty decent set.
I didn't forget it, this is a vanilla guide. I may eventually do one for the expansions though. I'm not seeing much information on Sentinel Lyons' gear, aside from the Lyons' Pride emblem, stats don't seem to differ from the T45-d. You know that you could just go up to the guy that wants you to explode megaton, then you go up to the sheriff and tell him, them you and him run over to the bar where the guy that wants you to explode megaton is, he kills Lucas Simms then you have to kill the guy that wants you to explode megaton, then you pickpocket them both.
On the big town quest I literally have red hellfire power armor to protect her lmao. Now I see her walking around looking like a enclave soldier with a plasma rifle.

Hmmm, I always thought the pint sized killer clown mask was unique. It can be found in some shack in point lookout but you'll have to lockpick the door to the shack.
You left out the ranger battle helmet which has an extra +1 DR compared to the regular combat helmet and IS actually unique as there is only one (worn by Donovan) unlike the body armor.
Suuuuuuper old video, but there’s one more outfit. The Surgeon’s Outfit can be found in the Red Racer Factory, you have to kill him to get it though. It’s got 10 Medicine and 5 Science
Going to have to start a fresh save, FO3 I never made/had a home base to stash all my extra goodies which I regret. Main saves inventory basically just has Chinese stealth armor , Vances coat and Three Dogs bandana on it, with a bunch of unique weapons.
Ok if you try to get the mechanist and the antagonizer to stop terrorizing the town by speech you forfeit one of the unique weapons if you choose the side of one or the other either by weapon or word you can get the unique weapon then kill the person you sided with for the suit
i saw someone post how to glitch and get ALL the items including both weapons. Stealth boy when you get to canteberry commons (may be misspelled) and reverse pick pocket fully repair power armor ( or any armor better then the mechanist's) and then back off and let them fight, when Roe comes to you and gives you the mission, go to the mechanist's lair and find him. The after he talks to you and you say you'll TALK to the antagnizer (so that she doesn't attack while you are there) pick pocket his armor cuz he'll be wearing the power armor. then find the antagonizer and right away she will praise you for killing the mechanist and then just give her the suit. you then get the Ant sting. then kill her for both armor pieces. Take the armor back to the mechanist and then just give it to him. You then get protectron's Gaze, Doing this gives you bad karma, but killing them restores it. so after you get the weapon, kill him. Then you have your armor back, two unique armor sets, and 2 unique and decent weapons. You can now make organic enemy's inside's feel liquid, and turn any and all enemy's into a smoking pile of ash. (also for a good laugh, get the mesmetron weapon and use it on either megaton or the tower whichever you live at, and use it on the settlers after saving the game and give them the armor and enjoy. )
best way to get lucas sims stuff is start burks quest make burk kill him then kill burk now you got a crap load of stuff and the uneque items without loosing karma
What about the Winterized Power Armor? It's a normal power armor but it doesn't break at all. I've been using it alot and it simply doesn't wear out. Also if you want you can sell it at an insane price.
