0:36 Now I know why this is the worst possible ending: having the gelled remains of an evil man into the process water is going to taint the entire Wasteland!
@@TiomesTheOne ok A. Fallout has never been good with bosses. Every boss you meet is basically ‘shoot thing until die.’ B. The Pitt is much, much more of a choice than ‘be good or be bad.” First of you have to decide if Asher who is enslaving people to do his bidding to rebuild Pittsburg, is right, and if the slaves who just want to be free, are also right. But you can’t choose both. After choosing one option or the other, all of the raiders in uptown die and the slaves stay there and make it their home and try to make a cure. They have no leadership or work incentive now that their there. If you choose raiders, an absolute fuck ton of named slave NPC’s that you met get to die. Next you also have to decide what to do with the child. The child is the cure for all of the pitts diseases. Wernher is willing to do anything just for the cure, but her parents want to make sure the tests are safe. The Pitt is much more than ‘be good or be bad.’
That wasn't the worst possible ending. Put the virus in the water and then get lyons to activate and you kill basically everyone in the wasteland except the fascists and yourself. Now that's pretty bad.
It affects anyone affected by background radiation and airborne FEV. So, just about everyone not born in a vault or who has ever been on the surface without a protective suit.
"Tell your father I said hello." The only thing I hate about is this is the fact that there's no option to say "Don't worry. You're about to meet him yourself soon."
This is the biggest problem with this game. You get a karma level but the interactions with the different factions are pretty underwhelming. You can't even attack the brotherhood of steel or side with the enclave, so your choice to suddenly betray them feels cheap. Same with most evil choices you're given : you rarely have actual reasons to do this, except being a total psycho.
@@foxmulder8955 A. At least karma has a use. It’s not perfect but the concept is there and needed to be fleshed out. B. Adding more factions to side with wouldnt make sense, why would you want to side with the enclave? They shot your dad.
"What do you mean you won't give me the code!? You're going to kill us both! GIVE ME THE CODE RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME GOD I'LL stand here in silence and do absolutely nothing for several minutes while we stand around waiting for the water purifier to explode with us in it." Truly, Bethesda has mastered the mystic art of gameplay and story integration.
you can give bethesda flack for many bad design choices in this but this is certainly not one of them. the fuck is she supposed to do, bang on the wall?
It's also kinda funny, how childish the dialog option seems, "You know what? now you are not getting the code". She yells her soul out, and I imagine the Lone Wanderer calmly yet childishly say "No"
My first playthrough was as a mercenary-type guy, and it was basically this ending but with fewer pictures serving as examples s to why I was so horrible. I didn't even blow up the purifier, but it was no different.
Aye. I did an evil karma playthru and I actually made Sarah run the purifier without the FEV virus. After all, what better way to be evil than to be lord and master over all?
Agent1W I don't know why I'm a fucking cruel dude I don't mind killing stuff and stealing from people in game but i just can't be evil in dialogue if it's with a nice person... That's why I can't do pure evil playtrus so I'm like a polite paychopath in fallout...
Fine, if this is the path you choose, tell your father i said hello! *BLAM* _ Autumn's famous last words Epic build up, one shot one kill. Maybe that's what Knight Dawn meant. "Remember; one shot, one kill."
I think that if you tell Dogmeat to wait for you at Vault 101 it would've been sadder.Imagine the dog waiting for him for the rest of his life...something like the end of "Hachi: A Dog's Tale" or that one Futurama episode
The thing I don't like about Fallout 3 is you have to either be good or bad and the game highly nudges at you being good. New Vegas you could do whatever you want. Start anarchy, massacre the place, etc
This isn't the worst ending. The worst ending is if you blow up megaton and annihilate rivet city(and in my opinion making lyon do it to show how much you care just about yourself). And if you live, you can blow up the citadel turning the brotherhood against you. Yeah we're evil!
Ron Perlman's best acting gig yet!. 😉😂😂 On a serious note tho, between this and New Vegas I was shocked by how many well known actors they got to do voices!.
"And so the Lone Wanderer made a lot of decisions that all had a lot of consequences and outcomes that are probably very interesting. Because Bethesda... Bethesda never learns."
You do know to have a mutant companion with you to do this quest and you and the companion survive right and I haven't even beaten the game and know this lol.
Plasma Rifle? Please, I used the Gauss Rifle. I couldn't find his remains aside from the pistol which was miraculously on the other side of the room lol.
