Love how most of the guns here have a left side charging handle / ejection port that are actually used. Except when they’re on the right side, then they’re just not animated 💀
Why does the right hand never move? Even for the lever action, he doesn’t work the action with his right hand. His left hand forced the entire gun backwards while his right stays still.
Aparently the game engine (creation engine) doesn't like when the weapon is not held by the right hand, It makes things really complicated when It comes to animate (Its still possible to make It work) but you have to work around the hands parenting to the weapon
of course obviously the character should fool around with the weapon and reload it epically by throwing the bullets into the air and magically falling into the weapon I assure you that many games have those animations😊

The weapon selection is basically the only place where I wish 4 was like New Vegas .Ugh , and those animations for the Smith and Wesson M29 , Pipe Revolver , 10mm and Marlin 1895 ... horrifying , bro .
@@mace5725 it is not an L take, there is 0 effort put into the animations, you can legit see bullets floating and the hands not grabbing the right thing
@@pizzaslice1593its an L take only one animation has a glitch at 1:25 theres an animation glitch where the hand magically moves backwards on the bottle 🤷 and you discredit all the animations like any other fallout doesnt have animation bugs etc
@@cyriell glitchy doesnt really matter, you can like the animations all you want, but dont pretend that they are good. And trust me, i know the other fallouts also are mid animations, but the doesnt mean fo4 should also be lazy
Fallout fans try not to be inconsistent with their opinions challenge (fucking impossible). It's like they forgot the time that black isle thought 10mm had the power of a .50 AE as well as making the 10mm pistol a mag fed 12 round revolver.
@@TheEFedsAreCominYeah, most fallout fans will bitch about how Fallout 4 and 76 ruined the lore, and how everything was much better in 1 and 2, despite not having played any fallout game except 3 and NV.
If it were a game made in 18 months like New Vegas, I'd cut it slack... but New Vegas had better attention to detail, what feels like now being less bugs(?), and was just all around, a much much better game.
I kind of like the style. The animations are quite decent and they have this nice almost jitteriness to them. It's jerky movements. The handmade rifle, laser gun, plasma gun, harpoon gun and rocket launcher are all very nice. With some better weapon models.. it would be quite pleasant. The same animator also did a great job in F76 (Doesn't save the game though, obviously lol)
I think they're shite, but I also get the appeal, especially as it fits the way animations were in 3 and New Vegas. Well actually, 4's anims are a little more "normal" than theirs are, but in a good way. They're smoother animations while retaining the exaggerated style.

people be like “the animations are so lazy” oh well sorry that in reality people don’t reload at mach 10 using 50 different tricks i don’t mind the animations because i know it’s a game made in 2015 for crying out loud may we also remember, it’s bethesda, they don’t see a need in making every reload look overdone

People are complaining about the animations being sloppy. Nobody is out here trashing on Bethesda for not adding "50 different gun tricks". Its literally just about poor animations
I know that some people hate the reloads from fallout 4, but considering how AWFUL the reloads from fallout 3 and new vegas are, i think that these reloads are huge step up

The fact that I can see people (or bots) defending these atrocious animations is the main reason why Bethesda is gonna keep churning out garbage buggy messes.
The animation quality is so inconsistent in Fallout 4, some guns have quite decent anims and others are just bleh. But the biggest issue is not the anims, it's the sounds. These guns don't really sound like guns, they sound like tin cans rattling. A problem shared with Starfield, too.
The reload animations are too simple he literally just takes the mag out then jams it back in with the ballistic guns now the energy guns and heavy guns I don’t mind those guns having simple reloads but they could have made more unique realistic reload animations for the ballistic guns at least but no because they were too lazy to make more realistic reloads and another thing I can’t stand in Fo4 is every gun being a left handed reload and left handed bolt I get they did it to show us how bolts actually work but you could’ve at least made it so you can find right handed versions of the guns
The vast majority of these animations are so laughably awful. In times where people are starting to care and appreciate details like this more and more, they need to step their animation game up. I'll never get over that disgusting bolt action animation in particular, but the Tommy gun animation is a close second.
