Hey man just wanted to say I think I came here for the same reason to relive that feeling I played so much fallout 3 and new Vegas when I was in secondary school that it took that spot as my favourite fandom like some people had star wars I had fallout and I dreamed of a new fallout game for years only until one day me and a friend where watching the count down timer in college in the afternoon class only for this to play I damn near shat my pants I was chilled because fallout meant so much even if the game didn't turn out the way I wanted I still have that and my now passed away mother went half on an xbox one for Christmas with me just so I could get it man being 23 I have a job I've sat down and finally got the time to replay fallout 3 and new Vegas back to back I thought I'd take a minute to watch this trailer one more time before I embark on the fallout 4 journey for one last time wish me luck I got them chills once again
@@martinwalker6145 damn i constantly see comments like yours and wish i was born like 5 years before i was. I was born in 2004 and i had just turned 11 when this game was released. I didn't have a PC. I didn't have an Xbox. I didn't have a Playstation. I had a Wii. All my friends had one of those though, and they were buying the latest Skylanders game. I missed out on becoming a Halo, or a COD, or Assassins Creed fan in the franchises primes, and so i'm not a fan of those games now. I didn't get and Xbox until i was 12, so in 2016. Fallout 4 was one of the first games i got on it. I've played that game so much, because i feel a nostalgia towards it, even though there wasn't much to have been made. I missed out on experiencing a lot of the stuff i love now, and even with movies. I love Star Wars. I love the MCU. The first Star Wars movie i ever saw was episode 7 in theatres. The first MCU movie i ever saw was Civil War, in theatres. I was a very late comer to all of these things. It really pains me to know i missed out on experiecing these things, and even though there will most likely be another Fallout game (although likely not for another decade) Fallout isn't anywhere near its prime anymore, and the franchise be something people shit on like they do the star wars sequels. I always think, if i had been born 5-10 years earlier i could have been the right age to experiecnce all of this cool stuff in it's prime, but now i'll never get to.
when this game came out i was so fat , then after beating it only ones i go to gym and start to lose weight . now im still has the same weight but the only different is my old pc blacked out and i miss f4 so much :( never has the chance to play it for the second time .
KickassW7 Fucking console kiddies, always having to sprint around everywhere. That's why you fuckers don't enjoy games anymore, you spring all over the place not taking time to think and figure things out, and you have to google where everything is and how to beat the game step by step. I fucking hate the idea that bethesda might put sprint in fallout 4, it'll ruin the aesthetic. People don't actually sprint down the road when they're going somewhere.
Regardless of your feelings about Fallout 4, you have to admit this trailer is legendary. I remember watching the reveal at E3 live like it was yesterday. I probably watched this video every other day until the game released. It still makes me tear up and gives me shivers when I watch it.

Primarily character models/animations. The graphics aren't terrible, but they look dated for a game that's supposedly been in development 8 years (not to mention that they're still using the Gamebryo engine when they should've made a new one). Graphics don't matter much to me as long as the game is fantastic, but most people were hoping the game would look drastically better than this because of all the time and resources Bethesda has. A lot of the textures look small and empty even while watching in lossless quality downloaded.
Not true actually. Early stages of development since at least 2010 and story writing after Fo3 release before NV came out. Todd Howard said in 2010 in an interview about Skyrim that they were working on a project along side Skyrim and the only thing it could possibly have been is Fo4. (8 years was definitely an exaggeration on my part but you get the point, the game has been planned since Fo3 came out)
I remember when this trailer first came out. Game journalists were dissecting this trailer frame by frame. For any clues on where the game would take place and for any clues on what the story was going to be about. So many now-defunct / abandoned channels on RU-vid were making videos on any scrap of information they could find on it.
@@rubenlopez3364 Bethesda is wonderful at adding little easter eggs and small stuff like that. Fallout 4 and Skyrim are wonderful examples. My brother has been playing Skyrim since it came out, and he's still finding out things he never knew about!

I remember, this trailer came out while I was on the bus home from school. I got in shit for going over my data allowance to watch it...and then re-watch it. Didn’t think about how I’d be say here years later feeling nostalgic about it. What a hype.
Man I was in my front yard chilling watching e3 live stream. Got so excited when I saw that this was announced. Whole chat went crazy. Only time I've ever watched an e3 livestream. Can't believe I already have some nostolgia tied to this game.

whoever they hire for trailers is leagues better than the games they are teasing, that's why i come back to these, fallout 4 was great, just not to me, this trailer showed me the possibility, alas, that possibility was not it.
Some much has happened and so much has changed since this trailer came out. I remember being 13 or 14 when this trailer came out and I was so excited that I told my grandma all about it. Now I’m finished with high school and am so lost in what to do with my life.
It's crazy to think this game is almost 8 years old. My dad bought it for me when it first came out, I was 7 and I played it non stop through the pandemic and only now can I reflect on how fast time passes by, live to enjoy life🎉
I bought this game a few years ago because of this trailer and that cute dog in it, it was my first fallout. Now I just finished playing new Vegas and I'm currently playing fallout 3. Love this franchise♥️
+Trip Facade Yeah i was hyped beyond reason i chewed up every analysis video and new articles on the game everything i did for months was just go on the internet and look for new fallout 4 stuff. But the game disappointed me and i gave up on it in a month and a half.
+Beenubs As a modder, I felt satisfied. Primarily because New Vegas' modding community easily gave me 500+ hours. And Fallout 4 is perfect for hundreds of great quest mods.
I love this game! This is one of those games where I wish I could just forget everything about and restart. This game got me into the older style of music and open world games!
Can I stick with it guys? I love fallout 4 to death but I get upset when people keep saying it's bad. This causes me to mod the game trying to reach perfection and fail to realize that its impossible to balance everything on the checklist. It's nice to see people thinking its great

@Jetsetbob2 The DLC are really worth it. I didn't even finish Nuka World yet because it's so huge. In my opinion, Automatron is the most usefull because you can built your own robot companion with so much option. Mine can beat up a Glowing deathclaw on her own in less than 30 seconds 😂
For those of you that never played fallout 3 or fallout new Vegas. Go pick up a copy and play. If you don't like the graphics, you obviously never played fallout and don't understand that it's a dark cartoony kind of style. Almost like a comic book for adults. So again, just to those who haven't ever played fallout. Go play fallout.
***** Tbh unless you have played all the Fallout's extensively and want more Fallout you aren't missing out on a masterpiece. You aren't missing out on that much. I'd suggest you play the original Fallouts if you haven't before getting this one.
Fallout 4 has made me realise that bottle caps can be used for many different things. Like making a collection of J2O bottle caps. My dad has a habit of collecting beer glasses from pubs and bars, so I don't see anything wrong with having my own collection of J20 bottle caps. Who knows, they may just be worth something in 50 years from now. Hope to still be alive.

I'm planning on doing the Minutemen ending and I just took the castle I did beat automatron so that I can have robots provisioners roaming the waste and causing trouble, lol they seemed so happy travelling the Commonwealth and that provide good fire support from time to time Edot: I am also playing on Survival currently,

I was 15 when this video dropped. I was in ‘business studies’ for my UK brethren. I’m 23 now… 8 years later… I still get the same goosebumps. I’ll be a father soon. My children will know this game.

fallout 4 will most likely be good but this is not even on the same level as witcher 3, especially since its not been released. take the nostalgia glasses off for a moment and then watch. you will get a clearer view.

@@bipbilla7699 The games in a catagory where on its own its a good, great or even amazing game but when looked at and compared to the other games in the franchise it is in its weak, like AC Odyseey and Hitman Absolution. But its not a bad game by any means.
2020 and I haven’t been hyped for anything like I was for this trailer. Every game has almost disappointed me since this released. Battlefield was the COD killer, battle royal was just a Minecraft mini game . I miss 2015-2016.

I think the game looks fantastic and if "realistic" graphics had to be scrapped to make the game run better then that's more than ok with me (graphics don't mean jack shizer if the game crashes every 5 minutes).
Kryptic Studios Corp Actualy you can set graphics on a PC to make it as smooth as you want. Consoles will have low settings and 30fps. Dumbing down graphics so that the consoles look better is absolutely stupid, but sony and ms pays for that
