Fallout 4 - Building at Nordhagen Beach 02 (Home, Work Area and Junk Walls)

This series covers the construction of my settlement at Nordhagen Beach. Apart from Place Everywhere no settlement object mods were used, and only uses vanilla and DLC objects with some additional assets being spawned using Console Commands.
In the second part of the series I build a small settler home that forms part of the settlements outer wall, along with a covered work area and add some additional junk walls and a turret stand.

I'm loving how you have incorporated the end of the bridge in your defensive wall. Gives it a real sense of being anchored.

Thanks! Really wanted to have a guard post there, but could not get it to fit on that small rocky outcrop without it being too large and looking a bit out of place. Plus as its right next to the build border any guards I tried to assign there just would not use it 😔. So although it’s a bit of a compromise still really pleased with how that section turned out, and provides covering fire for a what is a natural approach to the settlement.

Thanks! Two of my personal favourite builds have been Kingsport Lighthouse and Echo Lake Lumber, there’s just something about costal / waterside based settlements. Still got a way to go but hopefully this will turn out as well as those two 🤞😁.

Kept thinking how there is always a big attack of Super Mutants in the part of the beach. Looking good.

Great to hear you liked it, thanks! Literally the first mod I ever installed was _No Settlement Attacks_ so after all these years of playing the game I still have no idea where the attack spawn points are for each location 😳🤣.

Really love how you design those houses. There's a charm to them i can't explain! 😅 Tbh, if i were one of those settlers, I'd probably be spending time being grateful for this place rather than just repeating the same dialogue all over again :P

@@dwarf_nz483 Lmfao, they can live in a fortress with big ass buildings where they can chill in, large farms and defenses that can obliterate a super mutant attack, and they still go "Easy livin', this ain't :/"

Thanks! I feel if you have got to live in the post apocalypse you might as well try and make it a cosy as possible. My reward for building them food, water and a safe place to live? “You've got a dangerous look about you... Hope you ain't here for me.” 🤣

@@chlobug__736 Thanks! I am on PC and for the build itself the only mod used is Place Everywhere. There is a list of all the mods I am using in this playthrough linked in the description 👍.
