Fallout 4: Danse's Reaction to the Prydwen's Arrival 

Sigh another update. With the new 2024 fallout craze coming, I’m seeing this uploaded to other platforms with no credit. Don’t do that. And if you’re that lame, at least give credit to me. This *is* my gameplay, not yours. I’m not monetizing this video and if you’re stealing it and reuploading it on another platform I’m gonna report it because I don’t know if you’re monetizing or not.

This always bugged me. Prydwen: "Our intentions are peaceful." Danse: "That means we're going to war."

"She loaded with enough troops and supplies" And vertibirds to crash into the ground

Maxson: "Do not be afraid, we come in peace." Danse: *"Oh boy, here I go killing again!"*

It will be cool if Danse salutes as the Prydwen passes by.

This entrance always gives me fuckin' chills.

The Brotherhood of Steel's entrance is breathtaking. However, the luster soon wears off after you meet the Quartermaster. I miss Lyon's Pride.

If the previous Elder was still in charge... that would of been a reassuring sight...

Danse had such a hard on seeing the prydwen arrive it pierced his power armor

Man the first fallout game I ever played was New Vegas and I thought the brotherhood of steel was just a bunch of losers then I played fallout 4 and I was like what the hell happened there freaking amazing that was it I just wanted to share that

Okay wtf why is this blowing up all of a sudden in 2022? The last 2-3 months I’ve gotten a billion comments and about 30k views. Edit: Lots of questions and "hE uSeD cOnSolE CoMManDs aNd mOdS" comments. Description updated, this was a super old version of the game and pretty sure they patched this out. Nothing seems to indicate that Bethesda ever intended to have him recruitable at this stage, and there's really no special dialogue anywhere else, as far as I remember.

When I first saw this thing it was pitch black at night, and the second I walk out I see spots lights all over and this giant thing over the mountain.

So, the same dialogue you get anyway. Can't say i'm all that surprised.

The music played during this scene brings such a huge smile to my face.....so EPIC. From this moment on, I knew I had to join these guys

This scene always makes it hard to justify building the Institute teleporter with anyone else. Because you’d think the sole survivor would see that ship and be like “well if they can build that thing, who’s to say they can’t help me build this!”

I hate the BOS in F04 but it's amazing how cinematic this game can be.

Based on the dialog, it really sounds like he was supposed to be allowed to be with you at this point. Maybe Bethesda cut it.

if you don't wait until night before going up the elevator there's something wrong with you even on survival mode, i'll take the debuffs just to see the badass entrance despite me not caring much about the brotherhood

i remember i once took a potshot at one of the vertibirds , and later was attacked by that same one.

Maxon in F3 was an alcholic kid. F4 showed you what you can achieve when you let go of Mr Booze!

Funny how they make that announcement on the outskirts of the Commonwealth. I mean really, who heard that besides the Sole Survivor, Danse, and Dogmeat?

How do you get danse before the brotherhood arives and also x6 before emtering the institute is it mods?

"People of the Commonwealth ... do not interfere." How are a bunch of irradiated yokels supposed to interfere with _that_ exactly?

I like that even here he just gives you the same speech he gives at the police station if you recruit him normally.

for all that dont know yet, elder maxson is in fallout 3 as well as fallout 4, he is the little maxson kid elder lyons in fallout 3. thats him 10 years later

I always wondered, when the hell did he receive orders to go to the Prydwen? He didn't have those orders on the elevator ride up to the roof but somehow after the Prydwen flies over them he then does have those orders? Did they give him those orders by way of flashing a light at him or did one of the vertibirds happen to drop a note overhead when you as the player wasn't looking?

So guys, I think there is an update that screwed this up. I could not get Danse to follow me until after the Prydwyn arrived. This is strange, because this video is evidence it's possible to get him earlier. I had done the quests for Rhys and Haylen, as well as the lost patrol mission. So what is wrong?

how do you get Danse as a companion before this quest? I thought you had to do this part of the storyline first before you could get Danse as one of your companions/followers

This is the BoS… not what the Fallout TV show portrays them as.

Just a theory, Robert House sent the Gun Runners, the DC remnants of the Enclave, and Kellogg with different roles to play in the commonwealth. The Gunners were sent with multiple copies of House's mind to Boston so they could give them to the Railroad and the Institute. He gives the Railroad information like passwords and access codes in exchange for a synth body. Kellogg was able to upload a copy of House into a synth body that posed as one of the workers until he convinces Patriot to stage breakouts while the Institute was distracted by what they thought was an Enclave invasion. Shortly after the escape is where Zimmer's prompted about the security threat and leads a team of gen 2's and coursers to the old Railroad headquarters the "switchboard". This is important to note because while the assault is happening, House used the railroad copy to access all of the CIA database, attaining any remaining data the enclave could of tried hiding from him. With multiple synth copies House spreads to a few new locations, capturing more synths and reprogramming them to have his mind or the AI's of his old Securitron family to carry out his bidding. One of these destinations was the plastic surgeon in Rivet City, where he collected some synths and used them to carry out a coordinated attack on the Citadel in DC, inciting the brotherhood coup and luring Lyon's Pride to a vulnerable location and killing them while leaving traces of synths to cast blame on the Institute and being the origin of Maxson's real hate for synths. Overall, House used all of the FO4 factions to get himself synth bodies and turned the Brotherhood of Steel on them as a means of tying up loose ends. The House Always Wins...

Now I didn't play fallout 4 but I thought you find Danse after the brotherhood arrived Where did you find him?

Now remember kids, they may have been busy since they "wiped out" the Enclave, but all it takes is one artillery strike and the East Coast BoS will have wished that the Enclave wiped them out before the Minutemen did.

for as much as i hated the fallout 4 brotherhood, they do know how to put on a show.

I hate going for a ride to fly to the ship. Why? There’s a glitch near Greentech area that completely lock you in extremely slow. Edit: Like a very bad frame rate.
