Miss those days when people posted videos like this one, when they just find something cool or do something cool and just decide to share it with us, wholesome.
David Barr same that’s when I got obsessed with hoarding power armor and I use it a lot the only reason I get out is to drop it off at red rocket to pick up a new one I found
There is a mod, Slavery Sistem, it has a rather 'prosaic' use, but one can recruit them as companions, so that you end up forming a kind of personal army for combat. There is a good use for the armors that are accumulating.
I got sick of the Settler's stealing my Power Armour so I left each settlement a Power Armour they can use.. And guess what.. Not only do they not steal my Armour they don't even touch theirs.... WtF?
CookPassBabtridge Yeah I know that. But I want them to use them just not mine..Otherwise they just sit around unused. Provisioners are invincible so they don't need them..Come to think of it I've never seen a settler die except a synth when it's exposed. I figured it out.. They'll use them if the Armour is close to the side of random attacks.. So Starlight you'll want it by the road and broken bus but after they killed the Mirelurk he got our of the armour and left in the field.. Next I'll just order a specific settler into an armour and give him a minigun..
Red rocket is a good independent base, I keep my power armors there, no one takes em, especially if you keep the doors and shudder closed. If your still gonna keep it at like, I dunno, sanctuary, keep it secure and remove the fusion core.
Raidenslicer I used to have them at Starlight Drive in but when you have like 4 rows and each row with at 3 or 4 in it just sitting there I was like.. Time to do something with them.. I don't let companions use them cause they're invincible too and I use the saved metal elsewhere.. So I gave every settlement one to help with defence.. Now like I said, I'll give a specific settler an Armour to wear and see if he stays in it or gets it lost..
Hey CeeJaey, sweet collection, in case you haven't done this, the vault Tec paint job stands out a lot better on the T-51s, you get much more colour and brighter hues and highlights
I love this, have to go back to fallout 4 and visit my island. I had power armor stations all around to let them be quick accessed in case of an emergency.
Wow this brought back memories. I built a base and had my armors setup like this at the top of the tower. Don't think I had quite as many as you did though
The easiest way to get power armor frames is at the uss riptide outside of cit ruins. Keep in mind they will count as stolen but certain companions like that. Kill all the raiders except for the one wearing power armor, make sure you have a high pickpocket perk. Hide against a wall and pickpocket the fc. the raider will leave and you can kill them. Leave with the power armor, transfer the raider armor to the workshop and behold you have a new frame. They will respawn after a while but so far they haven’t respawned after the institute explosion for me.
I envy your power armor,, I have only 5 but I usually wear the minuteman general outfit and black rim glasses...and the captains hat for 10% faster walking all the time
Not the only one. I'm still playing. My primary base is Spectacle Island where I store all weapons, armour, PA suits and do most of the crafting. It's also not linked to any settlement and I don't have settlers there. It's never been attacked.
@@cringaholic8747 try Spectacle Island. Has the biggest build limits and a "ready to use" power supply. My current base is 24 × 14 squares sitting at the top of a 4 story lift.
Damn X0-1 power armor looks way different now then in fallout 3 (all those veteran fallout people like me remember there was no X0-1 it was just named "enclave power suit")
22 suits, nice especially the Institute paint job. I’ve got a lot of my power armour at Sunshine Tidings, another collection at Finch Farm, a few suits at Jamaica Plain and a couple at Sanctuary, Red Rocket and Spectacle Island.
warhammer ofc the idea of soldiers in power armor is 100% warhammer the t45 and 51 are basically space marine armors and t60 and xo 1 are like terminator armors, the super mutants bear a uncanny resemblence to orcs, and there is much more in this game that is taken from films and other games ^^,
5:10 You can also get brotherhood of steel power armor by killing tons of patrols One pre-war veteran vs a literal army of people with vertibirds and powerarmor
I'd collected SOOOOO many pieces of raider armour (Every mission at one of the train stations, or the mine excavation site usually got me a full set of it) that in the end I kept one full set of level 1 and 2, then sold all the rest to the atom cats to pay for their unique paint job parts. Had to load up my myself AND my "Pack muled" Ada, to do the trip twice to transport all the bits over there though. :)
I have 65 suit's of power armor and each time I play, I end up with at least 1 more! where I display them is at sanctuary hills on an elevated platform above the houses and takes up nearly half the size of sanctuary hills.
And at jamaica city under higway in that sea left to to cit on map I found it wit helm mk 3 torso mk 2 legs and only one hand no fusion core inside, armor next to crashside, protected by one mr gusty. Also one armor not locked under natrick police. Just gu that singe way down the map. Befofe end of road there is X01 with torso and rigt arm at millitary checkpoint
