I know this is old, I finally just played far harbor but I killed everyone in acadia with nick and far harbor, than killed all of far harbor, and nick still wasn’t as shitty as he was there haha

Right why does Sarcasm always end bad with Nick? Sarcastic responses towards Deacon, Macready, Gage, and Cait always end well.

It isn't the first time nick snaps at you for a sarcastic remark. Theres a few other times he does it to.

Speak for yourself. I only use the sarcastic option on evil characters or characters I simply dislike. I can’t bring myself to use it on Nick, or most of the characters I like.

@RJ Like in New Vegas if you shoot the memorial an NCR soldier will come up to you and tell you to stop desecration a war memorial because his brother died there. You have the option to apologize or call him a little bitch and he will start shooting at you. I would have liked more stuff like that.

This is my favorite ending, poor DiMA.

My favorite endings of both the main game and Far Harbor are the 3 faction peaceful ones, plus DiMa was a good guy trying to not kill anyone.

No, he WAS trying to kill people ... just a select few to keep peace over the island. Whether or not that's worse than open bloodshed is up to the player.

DiMa was not a good guy, he sacrificed others for his own ideals.

That's why he feels alive. A character who just blindly follows the PC feels like - no pun intended - a robot. But Nick and the other, well most, don't take shit from the PC when they do something that the follower feels is wrong which makes them feel far more like a real person then just a npc

Far harbor only hates the children of atom because of the rumor that they are making the fog worse which happens to be false.

Allen killed the preacher because he didn't like hearing what he had to say. That's it. The Child of Atom committed no crime, he was just annoying. That murder is also what caused High Confessor Tektus to start his war march against Far Harbor. DiMA deserved his execution, but the people of Far Harbor ARE hypocrites.

lol the children of atom have been actively trying to spread the fog. you know, the thing that killed the families of people living in far harbor. they even turn the thickest parts of the fog into holy sites and say that the fog condensers (the only thing keeping the people in far harbor alive) are sacrilege. they are responsible for far more deaths than anybody else on the island, and they WANT to be responsible for the fog taking over and causing deaths. they're the most guilty of anyone and they're so insane they view being responsible for deaths as a good thing so long as their precious radiation helps cause them. get outta here atom apologist

It's because it's been a while since the voice actor had to do the voice, so it sounds sort of deeper only on the new dialogue from Far Harbor.

yeah it's weird, but i think the voice was just badly equalised, the quality of the new VO for nick in the expansion seem rather low.

To be fair, there's no good ending for Nick here. He either learns he has a brother who protected him and then loses him just as fast, or he learns that his brother is a manipulative murderer that Nick lets get away with several crimes against humanity despite his personality literally being a police detective. He's gonna be sore either way. I chose the Dima faces justice ending, because both Nick and I knew it was the right thing to do. Yes, Nick is now down one brother, but he can hold his head high that Dima sacrificed himself for the safety of those under his charge. That's the mark of a true leader; and Nick can be proud of him.

Well, if you think about it, we used to do that all the time. Only reason we don't now isn't because it's not logical, but because it's viewed as morally wrong. It's more so done in the idea of assurance that the murderer won't be capable of ever killing another again. It's technically the most logical route, because why would you leave a murderer alive? When you have no actual assurances that they wont do it again. You make that kind've choice yourself all throughout the game, it's just usually not on someone whom has a bigger role to play. So logically speaking, taking out a potential threat that's already done something is rather smart. It's cold, morally questioning, but extremely effective. And in a post apocalyptic setting, you don't have many judges running around to hold court over murderers.

That's the death penalty for ya. =P
