Fallout 4 Settlement Base Building Ideas - Lets build! a modern style house in fallout, balcony's, feature wall, pool area and much more, this is experimenting with a different visual style, using the building material available, this is definitely something different, let me know what you guys think!

"Nordhagen beach" man, its not a bad block of land dude, only issue with it is a small shed in the middle that you can't knock down, plenty of potential tho.

this was cool. you could have used the metal railings from the scaffolding to make the railings look more modern. But nice design, I will steal some ideas.

I started watching this and i wasn't really expecting it to be good but this is actually one of my favourite house designs that i've ever seen in fallout, it really reminded me of my old neighbours beach houses where i used to live when i was a kid

When trying to get objects to go threw the foundation blocks, move the block out & place your object(s). After that simply snap your foundation block back into its spot. Not sure y I put simply as we all know it’s not always ez to snap object together.

I exclusively build 1950s modern concrete and glass homes. I think it keeps with the feel of the game. I have a mod to put glass in the concrete window walls.

I haven't played Fallout 4 yet. Will soon. But I'm curious how many settlement locations are there? I'm just wondering because it seems reallllly specific where it lets you build. It woulda been way cooler to let you build anywhere. But since it's limited, I'm hoping there's at least enough locations so it doesn't FEEL limited. So I can be walking around and think "Hmm, this looks like a cool place to build" and there just being a location nearby.

I can't remember how many exactly, but I can think of around 21 settlements off the top of my head, there's also 5 extra settlements exclusive to dlc released so far, I wish you could build wherever you like haha, but there is a lot of settlements scattered all over the wastelands, so a settlement is never too far, no matter where you are.

Stop the video before it gets started. How do you build on uneven ground. You already have the base but you don't show how you constructed it. Why does everyone leave that part out. Maybe it's time to create a build on uneven ground example.

If you use the foundation pieces (the parts he used for his main walls) they sink into the ground, with a little playing around you should be able to get the high right then use the foundation to build off of for a nice even finish and much like he did, when the land strays to drop away use the shack foundation with the support legs for a bit of flair, you could even use plain floors with some supported one's so it doesn't look so busy and maybe add a little room, hope this helps out dude

I hate watching masterpieces like this. I watch something great like this, then look at my little bedrm/kitchen/living rm/dining rm and makes me think how far out of my league I am. Lol!!!!! Nice design... Try hooking the lights up to 3 different sets of generators and an on off switch terminal... The lights can strobe across the three vertical lines...

Your Fallout 4 Build series is the best of all I've seen. Concise and to the point technique. Smooth camera. No jerky chicken head shots. No distracting changes during demo. No babbling about how cool it is, or intense storyline saga. Just By far, superior to any Fo4 build tutorials out there!

if you go to flat ground with a small shack floor and look down when you place it you can spam x and get one directly above the other to make a double thick small shack floor.

+Bryan Generally yeah, i did duplicate about 20,000 of the most common materials like wood, steel, concrete etc, but now that's been patched i use the water purification method and trade water for shipments and cash..

also if you remove the concrete foundation at the bottom and line the light boxes up so that they hang just so slightly over the edge of the foundation you can put the concrete back and they will be almost flush with the wall but still visible

Hi! Thanks for the video. My question is this... The wall lights on the front of the house - how do you get them all lit up without using a butt-load of generators? I'm pretty sure it's something simple. But I've no idea other than generators. Forgive my noobdum, not really a big gamer! Have a good bit of time on my hands now atm with being lay up with a broken leg, so... I just thought I'd ask.

I use the Fusion Generators which produces 100 power, from the WW DLC. In my medium size settlement, it pretty much powers everything.

+Al H I chose the institute man, just make sure if you choose either BOS or institute, get on that ballistic weave mod if you don't already have it, its obtained through the railroad faction, coz either faction will make you take down the railroad and you will lose your chance to unlock it, just a heads up dude :)

I have just started watching your videos and you are really good! Trying hard not to get influenced by your ideas! This was a great idea, although I would have used concrete for the whole of the central core of the building (all floors and the bulk-head. The pool is a great idea! Awesome stuff!

+Austin Moore No i use the purification/business method: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D18Az8_km-4.html to make money by selling unlimited water, and then i vendor hop to each merchant and keep buying every single shipment, you can also use purified water to trade for shipments also, i have a guide coming out soon, that will show you exactly how i do it.

+EonHSD there will be new building parts in the next DLC wasteland workshop, in the way of huge amounts of building parts, you can be sure there will be when mod support comes out in may for Xbox and june for PS4..

? looks quite nice with lighting, however I built a newer version with the WW DLC content, which looks better, and its also a straight vanilla build, no mods of course
