This build is a perfect example of why I subscribe to this channel. You build things without mods that look better than what I build with mods. It’s devastating to my self esteem but I love you for it lol. I love cats and I am delighted that Susan has joined us :)

Dude, I would love a How-To video on how you build without mods. This place looks fantastic, and a far cry from what I can attempt. You must have the patience of a saint when working with the vanilla placement system. That's what usually causes chaos for me when I'm trying to do roofs, let alone multiple floors.

I don't know which I enjoyed more, the actual build or the narration! Thanks and great video.

I would like to see the build it's probably the nicest vanilla house I've seen in a few years (pre mods) still keep up the great work and build more stuff like this I'm sure many more people who don't use mods would like these sort of builds

Very Cool build man. Yeah, I enjoy the building aspect of the game. I like how you segregated your different work station areas. You could make the fishing pier in an "L" shape if you wanted to extend it a little further and then hook to the right. I don't usually use mods for building, but will use the assets of later DLC's. Sometimes using build placement mods is problematic, I've seen a lot of people run into issues with freezing and like you said update issues.Had to hit the sub button. Would like to see a build video, or if you wanted to pick another area to do a build.

I love using mods for infinite carry weight and also having some pre-war items to set around my player home. I don't use mods to have infinite materials because with infinite carry weight, I can literally pick up any item I want and also carry a lot of resources bought from shops. The player house you made is sweet, man. It looks cozy. :)

Pretty rad man. Up thumbed. I use no mods period, only the creation club. Mainly because I have never downloaded any or messed with em ever. But, one day I'm sure I will. I mean come on we still have like another 4 to 6 years before the next elder scrolls or fallout game. Lol.

Building with no mods is one thing but building ten huge settlements before installing mods is another. Gathering material and adventuring for loot is extremely time consuming. 250 units of glass from Bunker Hill equals 20 to 30 minutes of real time. Not a good thing when your builds take 1500+ glass and then multiply that by ten. I was super hard core never to install mods but it's honestly the best thing I have ever done, regarding Fallout 4 that is. Enduring 10 builds the natural way stretched my imagination and also made me appreciate the additional options with mods and cheats. I can usually pump out a settlement in a week now simply due to the fact I don't have to gather materials again. And mods are really the only way to make realistic videos and storylines. I like the no mod player house, you're a good builder. ☺

Cordless, could you build a Brotherhood of Steel outpost on top of the Mass Fusion building, lore-wise it kind of makes sense that they would still be hanging around because of all the tech and the great view Boston.

Unmodded buipds are fun but only when ypu have the supplies. Did you gp out and find all the supplies and items you needed? The only reason why i only have 2 unmodded builds cause i got tired of running out of supplirs and having to stop in the middle of a build and gp find more junk

Yo cord, have you ever had issues with the setpos command? I'm pretty sure it's a mod causing the issue, but when I try to use setpos the object I try to move disappears...literally I type "setpos z 2"and it disappears, and it doesn't matter which axis I use. Just thought I would ask considering you use all these commands.

Me, I use the town of Sanctuary as my player home. Basically, what I do is i spend hours making it look good, and i horde weapons, food, and clothes there. My characters each have their own homes, but I only go there to save like I'm coming home from work or something. In Nate & Nora's house, i horde weapons and armor. In terms of lore, I'd imagine Nate has an arsenal in the closet between the master bedroom and Shaun's bedroom. Nate was the male mc, and he's a veteran soldier. Nora is a law graduate... so it makes sense that they both have a personal arsenol in their house. Nate hunts raiders and such while Nora leads the minutemen. I don't scrap ANYTHING in that house, but I rearrange. The refrigerator and Shaun's crib are unique, so i keep them. But i use military cots as Nate and Nora's bed because they can be right against each other with no gap. So it looks like one bed a wife and husbando share. I separate the armor, explosives, weapons, and mods in their own containers... a steamertrunk, two foot lockers, and a wooden supply crate. Then, I pile them up in the closet between the two bedooms. But for extra weapons and just clothes period, i build a walled in market and use some of the box-wall pieces as vendor sheds. I have 4 vendors, 1 clothing, and 1 weapon. I just put containers down and fill them accordingly. In terms of lore, it makes some sense to store the goods there... plus, i have them all there for when i build settlements. Now... for my settlers... i like to hive them backgrounds through the items i put in containers near the beds I assaihn them. For example, I have Mama Murphy live in the same house as Preston. They act as police for Sanctuary... but in Mama Murphy's room, in her dresser, she has nothing but raider clothes. In the footlocker, raider weapons... in the suitcase under her bed, legendary items looted off of named raiders. Like Bosco's Mascot head, for example. She's an ex-raider turned raider hunter... in her age, she uses the sight to help preston figure out who needs help across Boston. Maybe she trains people with similar abilities... in their kitchen, I kept the chemistry station ripped from behind the house because Mama Murphy is either an addict or she brews chems to stock the medical home i made. She also needs chems to fuel The Sight so... yeah... And I try to build the EXACT same layout in my other save files TO THE LETTER juclst so it feels like all of my characters are in the same world. .... Yes... I'm THAT guy... All that work just cuz I get bored easy... I'm a storyteller and a world builder... my creativity and imagination both feed my urge to build but hinder me because I can't shut them off lol
