A pre-war bunker build. Using the USO mod and built at Egret Tours Marina. Follow me on twitter - / norespawns Follow me on Instagram - / norespawns Production Music courtesy of Epidemic Sound: www.epidemicsou...
Whenever I question how something got somewhere from an rp perspective I always just say that if humans could build the pyramids, than anything is movable with enough sentry bots and tamed deathclaws
Egret tours marina would be cool for like a pirate/sailor themed raider camp. Make shift light house n' shit with far harbour tools. Say no more, nudge-nudge wink-wink*
I recommend the mods "scrap that commonwealth" and "build anywhere." You need both of those two to function properly, and with that you can delete lots of foliage, etc. Also, no build limit is very helpful as well.
That bunker and several others are a single nif. That's why there are problems building inside them. Most structures we can build inside are static collections or groups.
Great Dave-ifying of that structure, looks great. I'm not a fan of the Snap 'n Build mod, and I don't expect you to be either, but if you'd like fully workable bunker structures it works very well - same principles as vanilla structures, working collision and navmesh etc. On one save I have a fully built complex in Starlight, might revisit that and junk it up a bit along these lines.
Dunno how into custom settlements you are but I think you'd like the military checkpoint mod. It's an in game location with an added workbench. You can assume by the name what kind of landscape it is
I built something similar to this for my survival. On a related note if there are any devs out there that can shrink a turbine or whip one up with the fan, I'd be eternally grateful. I just want 1 power to get my lights working without the RP of constant oil requirements for gens or lamps.
Um not sure what platform you're playing on but do you have the place anywhere mod? If you do have the mod you can hover over the turbine and if it has the "options" text next to "activate" click "options" and go to scaling and resizing and lower the size until its really small, You wanted it so you cant see the turbine but still receive power, right?
Umm.. not sure sorry, i don't think it would stay small. I'm just guessing here but It would probably revert back because it would be missing the files from the mod but i really don't know being honest, so I hope i was able to help haha. Good luck with it shouldn't hurt to experiment with it though, I'm on Xbox so don't know how much help i was :P
Can you make a cool fortified (secret) lair type place with a tony stark-like iron man suit silo for all the power armors/weapons in the game that has a powered opening at the top/bottom that you can fly/drop out of all ready for war? I was trying to make the silo accessible via a secret elevator either in the master bedroom or study. I have been trying to do this at the bridge farm settlement (within view of the brotherhood blimp) forever but with no luck. You're going to need infinite build height and expanded borders.
Lol I just made a a platform of invisible rugs on a rug and made it even with the floor lol then reinforced the outside where the rugs poke out the uso ones work on the navmeshing too then built inside like normal
does anyone know which mod gives you the individual pieces for the prewar bunker? I had it recently but cant remember which one, I genuinely thought it was this uso mod by Andrew, anyone know?
just noticed a modder named ad3do who built the snap and build kit has deleted his mods, I thin it was him who incorporated it into some of his work, thought id mention that. feelsbadman
This is a weird request but.... Can you make a Republic of Dave at county crossing but call it the democracy of Dave or something I was playing fallout 3 earlier and finished the mini quest there and I gave me the idea.
Hey Davey I just figured out how to get the creation kit to work yesterday and I am advancing in it pretty fast. Anything reasonable you need me to make? Right now i’m working on a new world called Riverview with rows of neoclassical townhouses and shops some with interiors, some boarded off. My first house is a townhouse mansion with ghouls in it.
Jack Criscione I know of one that could help us builders out. Static doors. We need doors of various sizes and types that cannot be opened by the player or any NPCs. Their purpose would be to close off certain structures without making them look abandoned or in a state of disrepair. It would save us from needing to decorate every single interior of a larger settlement, which can have a huge impact on the framerate on consoles. Ideally, they would also be named appropriately when you point at them outside of build mode. You know, like; "secured door", or "locked double doors"--things of that nature.
