The Nexus staff seem to believe movie soundtrack isn't free use like it is when people replace Combat Music with the Mandolorian. A company bigger than anything in the entire world, called Disney which owns it. www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/68461 Nexus just doesn't like the Fallout show. And the lack of immediate Mod influences from the show is proof of it
Yeah I literally complained in an email and on X, and they took that down because of me. They're such nerds only when it comes down to what they like and allow it's ridiculous y@@tactfulrogue
@@tactfulrogueI had complained In an email, and on X. And they took that poor guys mod down because of me. They're such nerds they are only willing to take down and allow what *They* like. Which is ridiculous
@@arlisongbird9386I wish. That's why you're seeing an Exodus of mod authors making their own discord servers hosting their mods. It's ridiculous because Nexus claims they're saving themselves from copyright infringement. But that's blasphemous because their entire site is modifications off of other peoples work. Who 70% have probably used assets that they themselves didn't have permission to use. It's supposed to be a network platform for expression through mods... Right? Oh, only *their* expression they agree with
I don't care what anyone says, the Brotherhood's new theme SLAPS and it fits the faction so well, it almost sounds like the grown up fully matured version of Metallic Monks, except these metallic monks don't hide in a bunker, they're here to kick ass and take names, and they don't particularly care who gets in their way.

@@ConantheTrollarian sorry buddy, my Republic was founded after Reme or whatever idk where ur from but we dont like Dutch people here so you can take your Tromp back to the E.U.
The best part about this music is how well it fits the Brotherhood to the Ironclad T, it's got ancient Gregorian chanting but feels like it's more expected to heard in a modern day forgery by people who love to metal work. I've been playing Fallout since 4 was announced and from 3-New Vegas-4 to even 76, this soundtrack nails every vibe the brotherhood gives me. Honorable knights that have dark tendencies but good intentions, willing to use every ammo in their weapon to destroy whoever stands in their warped path to make the wastelands a better place. They're not bad guys...just good soldiers who have a history of doing bad things for albeit good reasons.
I’m not sure id classify the brotherhood as going anything for the “right reasons” Their view of what peace should be is very authoritarian and cult-like. They withhold vital information and knowledge and isolate themselves when they could be ACTUALLY helping to make the wasteland a better place. They think may have a sense of honor but it’s “their” sense of honor. Their honor is selfish and harmful
In that sense it very much mirrors a lot of modern day politicians in that that are some who have done terrible things while trying to make the world better. Probably not the bets analogy tho cuz there are some downright evil ones out there
Fully agree, I really hope they use some of the musical themes from the show in any future games, as I found the music for the Brotherhood a bit disappointing in Fallout 4 as it's just so similar to the Minutemen/Castle theme, which is a shame when the Institute felt so different (and you can understand the Railroad being influenced by the Institute themes). The show's score actually feels a lot more distinct and unique for such an iconic faction, and one that should feel very different to a cobbled together citizen's militia.
This goes HAAAARD! And it fits FO4’s Brotherhood so well since it captures the moral ambiguity, unlike the original version which sounds too heroic (no offense, Inon Zur).
I know right! The original theme for the Prydwen might be better in nighttime, but if the soundtracks are Metallic Monks or this - it fits better in daytime.
You can still download it in the description. Nexus bafflingly believes this is copyright infringement when they allow literally 70% of their content uploaded to not be owned by them or with permission by any game franchise. It's fair use by definition and if anything, the fact that it's the most simple fallout mod that can be made. On NEXUS. Arguably who got their reputation from Skyrim and Fallout mods. Decided to not allow it.... Nexus has been notorious for having an extremely woke ideology and staff team. Consistently have bad mouthed specifically the BoS take in Fallout 4, and I assume carries into the Fallout Show. They hate it. And hate everything that has to do with it
@@bonnnetwork???? Not letting people upload r@pe mods is "woke' you've people lost the plot. Nexus mods has its issues, being "woke" is not one of them. Blame Amazon prime for sending them a cease and desist letter.
@@bonnnetworkalso please, the BoS have always been portrayed as a religious bigot group that isn't intending on saving the waste land. They were LITERALLY inspired by a book about Catholic tech priests who steal technology in an apocalypse. Every game that mentions them has always portrayed them as such, in NVs every leader talks about how the BoS is a terrible faction.
This theme alone is enough to make someone fully side with the BoS halfway through a playthrough. Currently fighting the urge to just say fuck it to the peaceful ending and go full BoS for the second time
This mod truly gave me one of the happiest gaming moments of all time. I havent played this game in 9 years, but seeing the brotherhood emerge again caught me completely off guard as I had forgotten when that happened, and this music just had me in awe at how much it fits. Bravo modders.
Hey vincentatamosa2003, this song actually did play at the very end credits of the last ep of the show. And that was where they showed the scene of the destroyed new vegas. while playing this song
I thought the mod where Vertibirds play Ride Of The Valkyries made this scene was the most awesome and couldn't be beat. This just did it with even more AWESOME.
Amazing mod my man! one question though. does this only play during this moment or does it it play at all major Bos locations like inside the Prydwen and Boston airport? either way i love it.
So apparently if you use the mod Enclave Rising, they use the same Brotherhood Arrival script. And this track will play with the vertibirds arriving at the oil rig. Basically any event mod related will use this track if it inherits the BoS arrival :)
@@larrylindgren215 drop the folder named "Data" under your main FO4 directory which also includes a folder named "Data" but is obviously much larger in size, where it would technically replace your old "Data" folder with itself but change only the files it concerns, that's how it works when modding any game. When it comes to uninstalling though, you gotta know which files exactly it changed so you can delete them and replace with backups or just verify game cache to re-install them fresh.
We've had sex mods for a decade now on Nexus. We've also had straight assets ripped from games like Star Wars, Stalker, Metro, Final Fantasy, Lord of the Rings etc. We also have had movie and game soundtrack replacers. Including Red Dead Redemption 2. But they draw the line at official Prime Fallout TV soundtrack. On a Fallout mod website...
Yeah I'll never live them down on removing a Fallout TV show mod, on a Fallout modding website, and it's the easiest mod that anyone can make that is a music swap. And people swap other game, movie and TV music and upload it just fine. But Official Fallout TV show music is too far? Sounds like Nexus has a gripe against the show. No other explanation
@@bonnnetwork what's weird is, they allow OTHER fallout show mods on the website. for example, I'm currently using one that changes the BoS power armor paintjob to the clean one used in the show. That one hasn't been taken down.
@@yourfriendlyneighborhoodsc1447 That's normal. If someone makes a mod from scratch without ripping assets directly from a copyrighted source it's usually not an issue and it won't get taken down. But if you directly take stuff without explicit permission from the owner then Nexus isn't allowed to host it and will have to take it down if any of their admins see it. Similar mods might fly under the radar, but that doesn't mean it's allowed. Nexus doesn't hate the show. They just don't want to get sued by Amazon.
@@Peckles1231 yeah honestly, I had given it more thought since this original post, and I came to the same conclusion. And fair on them tbh, Amazon is scary. still hope we get a re-release of the mod on GUN network or something though, cause that music is still kickass.
How do you install the mod? I extracted the data folder from the download to the game directory but it didnt replace any files and looking in game it played the vanilla game music
I tested different timing of the track and this take felt the best in execution. I had started with the drums at first but felt too abrupt, and didn't allow the player to take in the sight in a slower pace for the track first
Hey, I love the scene and when the brotherhood arrived was epic in the new playthrough. I'm also playing America Rising mod for the first time. And what was even more epic was when 5 Enclave Vertibirds came through the clouds to the Oil Rig and out of the blue this theme was also playing. And that got me an idea. Could you maybe make a submod to have this theme also playing on the oil rig in America Rising 2?
That is INSANE!!!!! Seriously??? I actually just might make a patch and addition to America Rising 2 after hearing that. I wouldn't have known I'd you didn't comment. Thanks a Ton! I can only imagine how that would have sounded when I was first playing America Rising with this theme. I'll definitely look into it
@@bonnnetwork I went back to an old save and made a recording. I wanted to put the link in here, but the message was always deleted. Now it's listed and open on my channel.
Some would appreciate the appearance better in live action than the game. But I love the new BoS theme and hope it carries a resemblance in future games
