I believe a REALLY important addition that should be made is a recreation of the R91 Assault Rifle, simply because it was everywhere in the capital wasteland and was the standard-issue rifle for units stationed at anchorage and for the national guard (yes, the "assault rifle" in fallout 4 should've actually been the R91, not that hideous looking water-cooled abomination). Because it is based off of the G3, it has so much potential for modularity because of all its variants, it would make a perfect mid-late game rifle and would definitely be present in groups such as the Gunners.
Just started a playthrough a couple of months back and I have almost all of these weapons active in it. My go to for mods info have been RU-vidr's like you. It is such a huge work being done by all of you by going through all these mods, finding the good ones out of those and getting precise info for them. Once again, great work and keep on continuing. As long as mods and youtubers are present, Fallout 4 will keep going.
Your comment is exactly what I was talking about in my outro. I'm glad my videos have such added value in this community of gamers. Thank you very much and Merry Christmas!
Great mod list man. There are some excellent choices in this video. For other weapon mods my top pick would be Jkruse05 5.56 Collection. It adds in three brand new weapons all in 5.56. The Defense Rifle (basically the R-91from Fo3), the Light Machine Gun from New Vegas, and lastly the 223 Autoloader that from the cancelled Van Buruen. The best part is that you can download either all three together or individually.
I want to have a lore-friendly modded playthrough and my greatest struggle is if Modern Weapons are considered lore-friendly. The game's setting, although it's the future, seems to be a WW2/Cold War setting. This makes me wonder if SCARs and Five-seveNs would be considered lore friendly.
One of my favorite lore-friendly weapons out there is a brand new weapon that just realeased, the AMR-3000 by Nostoso, which was released just recently. I know this isn't a new lore-friendly weapon, but I love the redux remesh mods that Dak made. The Assault rifle is now more of a M249, and the brand new combat rifle remesh redux makes the combat rifle motd into a M1 Carbine. Such amazing mods.
Best thing to do is not be stubborn about keeping Fallout 4 lore-friendly. Any mod that looks retro-futuristic, sci-fi, and some modern stuff is fine. But most important of all I will never add so many modern assault rifles and tactical pouches to the game that it becomes f*cking Call of Tarkov. So boring and overdone. And these same people wonder why they only mod and never play.
That would be fucking great if someone could fucking show me because I used to have the game on my consul and I used to have them fucking guns. Don’t know why they ain’t on there now, but I would like to know somebody get a hold of me that shits pissing me off.
