. Reaching level 50 or beyond in Fallout 4 is quick if you duplicate shipment resources purchased at vendors. Duplicate enough resources and craft Molotov Cocktails at a chemistry station and earn between 12-17 xp per craft. To craft molotov's you will need 4 Oil, 2 Adhesive, 2 Glass and 1 Cloth. Equip intelligence items to maximize xp.
Duplicate Shipments of Oil, adhesive, glass and cloth at the workbench. You can visit these vendor's to purchase each of the crafting items
Shipments of Adhesive - Daisy at Good Neighbor, Myrna or Percy at Diamond City Market or Penny at Covenant
Shipments of Cloth - Connie at Abernathy Farm, Greene at Graygarden, Lucas at Bunker Hill or Daniel at Finch Farm
Shipments of Glass - Doctor Sun at Diamond City Market, White Chapel Charlie at Good Neighbor, Kay at Bunker Hill
Shipments of Oil - KLEO at Good Neighbor, Teagan at Prydwen, Trashcan Carla at Bunker Hill
To duplicate the shipments at the workbench, first clear out everything from the workbench and put it in your inventory. Store them in a steamer trunk that you can craft under Furniture and then Containers. Unload all junk into the steamer trunk except for the 4 shipment items.
Make a quick save just in case
Tab over to Your Junk and you'll need to Transfer All triangle and then within a millisecond take all square This will duplicate the items that were part of the shipment without taking the shipment out of your inventory. Duplicate enough materials to get you to whatever level you're looking for and then go to a chemistry station and craft Molotov Cocktails.

Ok so I've done this exploit now and thought I'd share some additional info about this that none of the videos explaining this contain. I duplicated the resources up to 40000. This is 40000 / 25 = 1600 times. One duplication per second is a reasonable time if you get it down. This means 10k resources will take 6m 40s to produce and 40k will take 26m 40s. You can do this a lot faster with bigger shipment stacks (multiple shipments stack into piles of 50, 75 etc). Save every 1-3k because I guarantee your brain will melt when you do this to long and you will mess up. So far I have used up 10k oil (1/4 of the resources i produced) and this boosted me from level 46 to level 55. I have 11 intelligence and the well rested bonus (+10% XP) you get from sleeping while doing this. You can boost your intelligence with drugs (Berry Mentats give +5 INT) and clothing to maximize your XP gain. When you craft the molotovs the game will start lagging after a while. Go out of the workshop and then back into it and start again to "reset" the lag. This whole process, from buying the shipments to producing 2500 molotovs, took me 1h 15m. You can do it faster if you don't mess up the duplication so much.

You don't actually need to look at the junk section on your side. you can just hit triangle then square without moving.

You can increase the possessing speed by stacking the shipment material to increase the speed. E.g shipment of adhesive (3) u will get 75 each time.

Another idea that works is if u duplicate the shipments with dogmeat so that instead of you getting 25 each time lets say u have 10 of each shipments that means u get 250 per duplicate, Hope i helped in any way ^_^

One tip: Use the dogmeat duplication glitch to duplicate the shipments. I got each shipment 10x, which means i get 10x that shipment duped per time, so i get 250 duped per time. I have all shipments in the game 10x . Currently, the items you can get off shipments, i got 50.000 of each. Easy

There was a video done on it, basically the xp gained at level 1 int with idiot savant was around +154% and with int at level 10 it was around the +140% mark, so basically its only around 10-15% off, definitely worth having

i was having probs with the ps4 version and figured it out. NOTE that this only works on *shipments* of materials and not packs of 25 like steel (25). Also, i discovered that if you load your shipments into the workshop and dont hit the take button, it will convert your shipments to packs of 25, therefore breaking the glitch. you will then have to buy all your material shipments again. so save often.

Having max intelligence and having the perk well rested will give you even more xp as well. Or you could have the perk from the luck chain at max to give a chance of triple xp from any action will also make this faster.

I have something to add here as an alternative. it may be a little less exp compared to this but you get to retain the item. I'm doing grenades. you can either do the 2nd level idiot savant route (don't use 3rd level as it doesn't work in crafting) or beef your intellect as high as you can get (5 pieces of sharp gear) = 5 intellect. liams glasses = 2 intellect. night person perk = 2 (or 3 if you level it twice, but I don't like the night vision. grape mentats = 5 int boost. (not sure if I am missing any other buffs) but above collectively adds 15 intellect (assume you did 10 points in intellect at the start or exploited, and then found the bobblehead) your intellect total will be 26. which is a 82% boost to your exp. apply it to this if you want but I rather do the grenades so I can use them later.

+andreastheshadow oh I dunno if I explained clearly. level 3 idiot savant works well when you are slaughtering things in the wasteland, for this exploit the level 2 idiot savant works better because when level 3 activates it doesn't activate again until it runs out which lasts around 45 seconds to a minute. but level 2 it will activate over and over again with no cool down .

+Blaise Huskins Hrm. That doesn't seem to hold true. When crafting with level 3 IS, I've had it proc 2x within a few seconds many times. It seems the duration of bonus exp only applies if the means of proccing IS was a kill, not crafting.

Now if you do any of these methods that include duplicating shipments. But multiple shipments of one kind(or do the vendor glitch to get for free) and instead of getting 25 per shipment. You'll get 25x each shipment. Shipment oil x4 = 100 oil per time. Did this with the copper.

For even more exp eat a squirrel stew for bonus exp for 1 or 2 hours and then craft the items, but make sure to get the items for crafting first before eating the stew.

Also, you can sleep to get the well rested bonus for 10% more xp per Molotov, 15% with lover's embrace, then squirrel stew for another 2%

You can also make jet with fertilizer and plastic then sell the jet, it goes for a high price or use it, it gives you 3 xp per craft.

the item duplicate glitch can be done quicker by the scrap/store method you scrap and item and quickly press store and two menus should appear, keep holing the store button as you press the accept button until the scrap menus goes aways and the store menu, this method doubles the amount you have over and over

FYI you are very unlikely to get punished for exploits in an offline game, but if you use exploits to cap achievements/trophies on console or steam, you risk having your account sanctioned. Visiting a couple of locations, then hitting sanctuary and dinging level 50 is not hard to spot in your stats. Keep in mind that your game stats are uploaded at the end of each session. Its your game and its your right to play as you want. Its also likely nothing will ever happen to you as so few players ever get sanctioned. This said, what will DEFINITELY happy to you is this: you will miss the whole point of the game, and ruin the experience for yourself. The game is at its best when your low level, scrabbling around to survive, where every bullet counts, and sneaking around every corner is tense. Once you hit level 40+ you are starting to get godlike to 95% of all mobs, and some of the real fun fades away. Boosting from low level basically grants you the awesome "gift" of skipping over the best part of the game. GG well done on that

Why not take it 1 step futher and do it with frag granades? at 1 int (last I checked) you get 55 xp / grenade. On top of that once you reach high enough level for idiot savant 2-3 if your int is at 1 you will be proccing the perk atleast once every 10 craft giving you the same exp for 3-5 crafts for the same resources of 1. Edit: resources needed. Adhesive x3, Aluminum x2, Fertilizer x2, Oil x3, Spring x1 Edit2: apperently the higher the Luck, the higher the chance of that perk proccing.

I found that limiting my framerate (PC) to 30 fps helped. When it was running at 100, I had trouble getting the timing right -- a lot of fo4 processing is tied to your framerate.

IF you didnt know bro you can buy mutiple bundles of oil and adhesive and glass and cloth and you can duplicate mutiple shipments at once.. im duping steel and steel comes in bundles of 100 so i bought 2 of them and its 200 and its duping both of them and turing it into 400 then 800 and you know the drill lol seems alot faster to buy a few stacks of each then dupe that way isntead of one shipement bundle at a time

in the video you say you can do this from the begining of the game, well you can make molotivs, but you'd have to do the cap exploit to buy them considering at the begining of the game you won't have enough caps to buy the shipments, also you need to discover the locations to buy the shipments... just sayin :P

i raise my levels quickly by making wooden posts for the metal fences them i scrap them and do it again. this got me to level 34 quickly.

Just use console command and set your lvl to 50, then give yourself perks. Same thing in the end.

Where is the point in using glitches to lvlup? If you want to eploit a glitch you could just use a cheat
