Thanks for the hint with the weapons effect applying on the nuka grenade. I was running through WestTek lately with a simple quad weapon and something felt off regarding the explosion damage, because I barely got kills with a single grenade. Grenadier and Demo Expert were active and at first I was thinking, the walls were blocking some of the explosion damage.
came back to fallout 76 after a 3 month break about 2 weeks ago at level 415 made it to 487 before double xp then last night with this process I went from 39 on the scoreboard to 72 and from level 487 to 527 with a 137 nuka grenades and a score booster. The best xp i was getting after coming up the elevator was 42k for 1 grenade. Truly wild how fast you can level and grind the scoreboard out. By the way it only took an hour and half to do 40 levels

Im sure that the effects carrying over to the grenades is a bug. It probably only does this cause you can equip it while holding a main weapon. You can hold a Bloodied weapon and scroll over another weapon for example Aristocrats and it would show that weapon like if it was Bloodied. Soon as you equip it tho the damage goes down and the Aristocrats effect gets applied instead.
I was trying for a quad elders mark but i got a bloody 50 crit 90 weight red roll on my bloody comando. The second one i was rolling also landed a good roll so i need a 3rd elders mark now.
I tested this by using this method and a branding iron for one hour each and it doesn't make a difference. Same XP. Not to mention the branding iron allows you to move faster.
I do this with a carnivore mutation instead and have seen the magazine that buffs carnivore foods once lmao. that would really help me. I'm almost at my goal anyway so I plan on switching builds soon. been using ur xp build for months now. thanks
None of that even matters tbh. The likelihood of any of those legendaries even being good is some small that it's not even worth picking them up over 99% of the time. Caps are so easy to get that I'm usually trying to get rid of them, and if you want ammo, just run daily ops/ expeditions. Hell, if you want legendaries, do that too. Every second wasted looting as an opportunity cost for exp.
Looting can get you even on grenades and ammo used, but if you have enough of that already it just adds a lot of extra time. I say this as someone who spent like 20 hours over the last double XP.
Couldn't we have a single XP buff that gives you the sum of all of the ingame XP bonuses combined in the same way they will do with strength bonuses in the next patch?
Does this still work? I’m playing on xbox and it seems like the walls in the building are blocking off the damage. I can only get 1-2 kills per grenade.
Hey Turtle, I love your videos, but you are always a Bloodied variant of some sort. I have tried bloodied, and just do not enjoy being a glass cannon per se. Is there anyway you could show a few maximized builds/equipment for a full health? I personally like Aristocrat's and Anti-Armor.
Does anyone think Bethesda does this intentionally? One scoreboard where it’s so short and we feel rushed trying to get it done and the very next one you have so much time. I get confused go bloodied or just my normal full health
The only reason his grenade does 1300 damage is because of Bloodied. It has 85%+ damage. Instigating would only double the base effect which wouldn’t be nearly as strong. It’s only because of this grenade “glitch” where the effects transfer to the grenades.
@@PeezyPurp I can't aggree with your theory as I've been using Instigating 60% armor pen EM and my Nuka Nades does 1.4k damage on lvl 100 mutant inside wes tek and occassionaly 1.6k on some events (Jamboree). From what I experienced, it is as strong or much stronger than the bloodied one.
@shawnlee5482 people mention the instigating because angry turtle made a video a long time ago about farming west tek on double xp weekend using a main weapon then switching to instigating for grenade to do double damage ontop of all the other buffs from perk cards.
It's why I use that vampire explosive fixer, I don't really have to fear dying from the enemies at the start of west tek in unyielding mode, I can just run in there blasting keeping my health constantly up then switch real fast to instigating weapon to wipe rooms with grenades, don't have to do it, it's just what I like to do and it works extremely well.
@@JuicyPiickle I have used instigating when farming in West Tek with Nuka nades. What is the difference in damage between bloodied and instigating with nades as of today ? Of course can test it myself when I am at my computer in the evening. Secondly, does the armor piercing mod in the Elder's Mark really work along with the first star effect ?
This looks cool. I would want to try it but i wonder how it would work out if you were only level 50 and without all those legendary perks and mutations. Would be really hard to get that gear and perks too at that level.
I notice your game runs really smooth. I have a very capable machine. Legion 7i pro gen 8 with a 4090 in it and everytime this game renders in more of the world it has a noticeable framerate drop. How can I fix this?
ye u get to lvl 400-600 and u should have legendary perks maxed out the point of grinding xp past that is to farm scoreboard with the repeatable (100 score every 10k xp)
Another double XP weekend, another weekend of WestTek wankers levelling up without learning how to actually play the game... brilliant This is why events are full of players that are level 500+, but still fail or rely on others to actually do them. These are the same people that don't collect ore or keep scavengers alive in Radiation Rumble. That don't destroy the meat bags or fix the rad scrubber, then sit on spawn points at Eviction Notice. That use nuka launchers at Moonshine Jamboree so the bodies go flying and you can't collect the acid.

Why do I never see anyone ask why double XP only happens well after scoreboards are done? I played bg3 for two months before new all hallows eve rewards. Double XP after 4? Hrm. Must be for casuals.
Does this still work considering the newest update? I’m literally doing this same run but I’m only getting a few hundred xp a kill I’m running all uny and cranberry relish leaders well fed everything even in team what am I doing wrong? Any help would be really appreciated
@@AngryTurtle Thank you for your reply. The only issue I can identify is that I have several additional mutations that might be interfering with the desired effects. Also, my instigating weapon is only one-star, but I'm uncertain if that affects the damage input. I plan to reset my mutations to match yours exactly, without any additional ones.
I'm doing the same with one clear every ONE minute. Have my laptop with mule account next to me, so while mule account(have to be party leader) is on cooldown, I'm clearing with main in solo run. My bottleneck is nuka nades. BTW the mule is lvl 600 from the shared xp, perfect to max out Legendary perks + taking one for the team and lvl 5 perk sharing, usually adrenaline.

and thats a good thing. A little progress should be made. A little bit of effort is needed to pull that off. Ur not supposed to grind like that at low lvls anyways. I just got done doing a 16 hour xp farm nonstop all day at west tek today the moment double xp started lol gained 300 levels, gotta go to bed already so I can do it all over again in the morning lmao, had 5000 nuka grenades prepped, still have like 3700 left to use, I used a vampire/explosive/25% less action point cost fixer, works freakin amazing while doing farming the west tek to build up adrenaline for grenades, basically can never die unless the dogs bite ya good lol or your to close when the grenades go off.
Why vampire? U supposed to use bloody weapon to get 1300+ damage on nuka nades need to activate full adrenaline and nerd rage and adrel reaction mutation …
I was just using to stay alive easier building up adrenaline to use nuka nades, then switching to instigating weapon to double grenade damage, unless that was patched? It seemed to work for me just fine all day I was wiping everything no problem with the nades and getting a good 100k xp roughly every run, seemed to work fine for me, but if that works better I'll have to try it, was still in low health unyielding mode and yeah I was using adrenal reaction and nerd rage and all that, just not a bloody weapon, seemed like good enough damage, nades were killing everything pretty much, I don't care though I was leveling like a freakin maniac lol so I'm happy either way. Hit level 850, gonna try to push for level 1100 in the morning to catch up to a friend of mine.
Yes i can confirm that is perfect tactic i was running with holy fire multiple times with max xp and getting like 21-23 lvls per hour and now with this getting around 31-33 lvls per hour thank you again turtle
Waouh guys look this glitch I've found you can have waouh 100k of xp it's incredible. Get level 1500 and go everywhere you want my bro kill some ennemies and you can see when you kill someone you win 50000k of xp waouh incredible
Just use the elevator to go back up. It causes a little artifacting in that one room but it's faster. Make sure that 1 minute has elapsed from the time you left the upper level before you go back up the elevator. All the super muties will be respawned at lvl 100.
1st thanks to Angry T he plays game at high level. This is my perspective, a gamer that has played every Fallout game. I have played 76 since the beginning and starting back when there was a Nuka Winter Event we had a PVP world and 76 was filled with HS shooter type of players. And five years later it's worse! We have all noticed that on One Violent Night Event wimps in Power Armor show up, position themselves outside the barn and think they are Army Ranger Snipers and stop Ghouls from entering the barn. But if they do that the people who don't need Power Armor to survive lose out on loot. How many times have you been in that event and the wimps in Power Armor won't exit and play an instrument to win the event? And by wimps I mean ranked over 300 and still wearing tin can s aka training wheels. 76 is filled with too many players from never learned to use tactics, like their legendary perk cards or special weapons. I sell on average 12 weapons a week, nearly 50 a month and if they don't have exploring area damage they don't sell. This is a copy cat game, sadly too many gamers are being clones of the worse players. And to make matters even dire, few updates give gamers what we actually need or want. Why is there no 5 star crafting? Why can't we wear Jet packs with Stealth armor? Why isn't it the Robot Marshal's who hunt down wanted players? You know the ones who only long on to wear a full set of Auto Re-Generating Power Armor and attack gamers around White springs resort? Why in Fallout4 we can we have traps at our camps to are able to catch and hold Death Claws but not 76? Why can't we make Robots to guard our camps? Why aren't we able to have two Ally's at a camp? Three Ally's in the game have lore around space and we can't get them to talk to each other? See any of the above upgrades is 1000x better than meaningless reskins of furniture or housing! It's so sad that Bethesda continues to dumb 76 down, only focus on selling in game Merch and not giving the long turn gamer, their true fan base the items we crave. As long as the monthly membership doesn't drop below 4million a month I don't seen them making it better, just average game for HS shooter types.
