So I run a similar build (I got dodgy for extra tankyness) but I have a completely different use for elders mark. On the whole I still stick to my b2525 fixer when I can stealth, but on events or daily ops where I can't stealth, I switch to my b2590 EM. Its clip is bigger for a bit of spread, and it's recoil Is easy to control. It's been a perfect complementary gun. Plus with that 90% weight redux it's practically perfect for the role.
I'm going to try this build, I have a couple Elder's Mark guns to try out. I have gun fu and its the perk card I share. People are always thanking me for sharing it!
Nice one mate , I have 10 different elders marks now , my faves are quad , faster , quad , exsploven, anti armour explosive and bloodied faster fire rate . It's an awesome weapon!!
Love the video Turtle 🐢 I am confused about the Concentrated Fire perk though. It was my understanding that it only worked on single Fire (non-auto) weapons to improve vats accuracy. Can you please elaborate on this? The Shell is with us!
I rolled a vampires with replenish ap with kill and less ap cost. It has replaced my bloodied fixer for everything but flying critters. Elders Mark is a great gun.😎👍🏻
No way that is better than a fixer. 2 bullets from my b2525 and 100 level super mutants are dead, I don't need a concoction of buffs to keep going. And I'm doing it on a high intelligence build getting 3500xp per kill during 2xp. I mean you can make a build for almost any weapon and make it decent. Even a crappy low damage Tommy gun. I learned that all from you Turtle
@@JP-lr9rd 6000...bloodied, full set unyielding, intelligence 48, although it is possible that I killed 2 super mutants fast enough to add up xp from 2 kills...west tek gets pretty hectic...lol
seems like elder's mark would be best suited against bosses due to its high capacity magazine but for everyday use i'd say fixer and handmade are still better. it's taking 3 bullets to kill lvl 100 super mutants as opposed to 2 from any decent fixer/handmade. behemoth can be killed with 9-10 bullets with a fixer even without chems and food, this coupled with the short range of the weapon i feel like you'd be wasting a lot of bullets if you use it on normal events and in the open world. the comparison you did last month had elder's mark winning partly due to that 'free reload', the magazine was big enough to get earl to regenerate his health just as you were reloading. but if the devs are removing regenerating health from bosses it would be interesting to test them again once the update drops. there's also other variables like if you're on a team or in events that can't allow you to sneak, perks like sandman, covert ops or follow through are practically useless, but would losing these buffs hit elder's mark harder or fixer/handmade?
What would be best roll if you are not specced commando ? Have fun automatic guns like q25dwa lmg and qvcost15apkill 10mmsub which are good for taking out low level ghouls moleminer and other vermin
Personally I would swap out master infiltrator for more sepcial points. There is no point in this game were you ever need to pick a lock. If you do, just have the lockpicking perks and put them on when you need to. It's a waste of a legendary perk IMO. You can also just drop concentrated firepower down to rank 1 and run rank 2 of ground pounder. You don't have to run the maxed version of either.
It's the same build. You just swap out the stealth cards for dodgy, put serendipity on under luck, and maybe have born survivor under agility just in case. Also, swap out follow through for taking one for the team. That's it. Commando build done.
@staygoldenmyboyM That's true about unyeilding or not. Although I have no idea why you'd wear power armour as a commando when secret service exists. This game is so easy that power armour is not required for anything, except heavy gunner, because their best damage perk relies on it.
I just want them to buff NA rifles. When end game content is events and daily ops, NA rifles just dont cut it. They're a blast for just roaming the map, but in end game, there really isnt a lot of that. And I'm not going to switch my build every time an event pops up, switch back, etc. I just dont enjoy other play styles as much as I do NA rifle builds, but I just feel weak in the end game that way. Even things like TSE fixer or TSE Handmade really didnt feel strong, especially when theyd obviously be stronger automatic. Just feels like I'm gimping myself in order to have fun. For a little while I was running what I called Dragon Commando. A Commando build with a Dragon rifle. Dragon doesnt need all the rifleman perks to be strong af, so I'd run around with an auto rifle for events and mobs, and break out the dragon for VATS crit shots. It was a Stalker Dragon too, so I could open up with it, and sneak around while i reloaded. This was the closest I got to a functional Rifle build. Currently running a Plasma Flamer with my NA Rifles since its great for mobs but runs off the Rifleman perks. It's not an Enclave, so its not super strong, but its working atm. but again, just doesnt feel strong. TTK is nowhere near what I've seen you do and what I feel like others around me are doing.
I wanted to try this weapon after a lifetime with my bloodied fixer. Bought one from a player vendor and re-rolled it to a antiarmor with decent stats but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong... Elders Mark goes from 90 dmg down to 70 when equipped and I'm nowhere even near my old fixer when it comes to damage output... Any ideas? Playing as bloodied stealth commando with all the right cards etc.
@@shawnlee5482 honestly if I could have bloody 2525 I would take it. But we live in a world where getting perfect rolls is one in a billion. So I’ll take what I can get.
Stop putting on sneak card when your agility is already past the soft cap of sneak. Putting the sneak card on when you have over 20 agility does nothing. Switch it out for dodgy max rank as it is actually way more beneficial. Never use the sneak card and the only thing that ever detects me is mole rats and rad scorpions. Those two enemies even with the sneak card and full Harder to detect unyielding will still find you so it’s pointless. Start using dodgy.
Chinese stealth armor is for sneak builds...this way more important than prioritizing high agility I do railway no problem on events full sneak...rediculous dps as well as holy fire
@derekcox543 vs earl is max dps then watever ..max gun fu is dps as adreline and covert op and sneak 3 and lv 1 that loses enemy perks ..so that's 15 Outside of dps then wat ever ...if want tanky build then dodgy over dps
Quad 25/25 railway rifle is the king of damage currently for bloodied commando. Nothing else comes close. Of course it’s not stealthy and the goddamn ammo weighs a ton.
I somehow lost mine a few weeks ago and I have been trying to get a new one ever since with zero luck :-( But I have found the Enclave Flamer Mod once while searching, so there's that....
Seems like a GoPro after the patch is going to be better really, so does it significantly increase the amount of damage for a bitch kill and for less points on me so I got a put three points into it instead of five forget I’ll pheromone out of it for a shooting velvet seems like gum fruit is five better cause I got 2 quarts views elsewhere
I'm definitely not a speed runner. Bethesda doesn't reward it. I'm a carry-weight commando build. My build facilitates the completion of challenges - the activity Bethesda actually rewards.

Just watching this and I realised that the stealth bonus for the shadowed and Covert scout armour don’t show up in the stats menus? When I look at mine (with a full set of shadowed covert scout) it only says in the stats menu as +5% stealth in shadows. Is this stat broken or something?

i was playing stealth since they improved it....its now broken again at events.. i switched back to power armor no stealth after doing tunnel of love event in danger for the whole event....no stealth dmg bonus...etc... pointless 🤷
@@jvazacas it is broken as in the build is broken when the player can not stealth....the entire point of stealth is to not take dmg and gain a dmg bonus...that is entirely broken when you are seen and get no bonus...it breaks the entire build 🤷 such a shame too
@@Ian-ie3hy if events are the only place it's not working, then it's NOT BROKEN BECAUSE OF FORCED DETECTION AT EVENTS. If stealth was working at events before, THAT'S when it was broken.
@@jvazacas stealth is broken when you can not stealth but i see your point that its intended design by devs....still the stealth build is broken in the sense of being viable end game considering there are many other options that take less skill and are more effective in daily ops, expeditions, and events for example...i can do all daily ops solo with current build....full health power armor...but stealth unyielding is a joke when you get curb stomped in the daily ops cause they have enhanced perception and you can not get out of danger so you arent stacking any defense cause stealth build right? plus you lose all dmg bonus...its just another big wtf i can have no perk cards at all and kill quest mobs...the build comes into play in the 3 areas i mentioned. and in those areas is where stealth builds perform the worst...where it would actually help the most!
Why is every build stealth and bloodied …being stealthy is lame I just want to shoot with raw op damage and not using the stealth dmg buff perk please do a build
Stop the bs, watched your videos on it now and it doesnt outperform fixers. Try a video where you take out earl from the other side of the room in constant caution. Em misses 2 of 3 shots. I rolled a q2525 and tested it out for a few days, it went straight on the market after that. But i will always be thankful to people who want to pay a lot for bad weapons, so i will roll more.
i don´t see the over hype in this weapon, i have a Q2525 and it seems so bad compared to the fixer and railway. It is not viable all around the world. it lacks damage.
