Fun tidbit for this episode: if the player had previously completed the 'Riding shotgun' event featuring the blue ridge caravan beforehand the manager not only recognizes you as former employee instead of the 'famous vault dweller' but is also slightly more friendly to the players speech options. Speaking of... if you talk to Vinny (guy in the fancy suit) at the East end of the big bend tunnel there's a small quest line getting to know the guards and traders for the group (including your new friend Aries). although it is limited to one job per (IRL) day so might be good to check in every now and then. (sadly this quest line came out after Steel dawn so unfortunately doesn't give any speech options in this quest)
This felt like the most "Fallout" mission I've seen yet in 76. Great characters, fun banter, good combat, puzzles, new places to explore, linking it with other missions and subtle lore implications.... that was excellent. Aries has got to be my favorite NPC of this game.
I haven't seen detective work as bad as Ahmani's since I tried failing every case in LA Noire to see what happens. Seriously, accusing everyone with no evidence was never going to work, Paladin.
