The pet situation needs to be addressed! I’m tired of spending weeks looking for these pets only to have killed in a matter of days! The bullshit needs to stop!!
This is something I can get behind. I totally agree with you 💯 percent. This is very annoying. Like take off falling damage to camp pets, that’s honestly what’s killing them. They clip into a camp item and fall through the world and die
I had spent 3 weeks and an unexagurated 150+ server hops and had never been able to get a tamable animal up in the north east spot. I still have my survival tent up there for easier travel. I don't get how that's everyone's favorite spot
If You Place Your Tent To Close It Can Cancel Out The Spawn For The Animal. Just Use The Daily Opp Method And You Should Be Good Usually Takes Me Like 10-20 Try's Before I Find A Pet.
I spend days 2 weeks ago getting deathclaw finally one Fred looked great in camp came back to base one day it was gone had perk cards on all the time aswell don’t know why !!!
You do not need to leave the card active to keep your camp pet, Just need the perk card to tame the animal and after that you can switch back to your normal set of perks. Now the pets die from all sorts of reason, Like falling through the world when first loading into the server or even getting stuck on a camp item and clipping into the world and falling to its death. Another is other players leading hostile enemies to your camp to kill it.
it seems to me that pet deaths have gotten worse lately. I recently came back to the game after being away for quite some time. When I played before my pet would randomly die maybe every 3 months or so. Since coming back I've lost a 5 pets in less than 4 weeks...3 in just the past few days.
Yes it’s very bad now, Bethesda needs to get rid of the fall damage to pets so they quit clipping into camp objects and falling through the world to there death ☠️
I'll need to try this. After weeks of farming I finally managed to get a mega sloth as a pet. Less than a week later and he was gone from my camp. Still trying to get my deathclaw.
Yea Sadly they die easy and other players will try to kill it or have it killed, Plus i hear loading into your camp when you first spawn into the server makes them fall through the world and die. Why they have not taken fall damage off pets is mind boggling.
How long does it usualy take to have a deathclaw spawn? I'm doing the spot in the southern end of the map in the middle next to the construction sight as I have seen other vids saying and showing deathclaws spawn on that one. however its been a couple of days now and still nothing....i have seen 6 ogues, rat, 5 sloths, 2 mirelerks....still no deathclaw though. i am level 95, do I have to be above 100?
Does a pet count toward your build space? I remember the first time I went to another player’s camp and they had a deathclaw wandering about, I nearly panicked.
No once it’s tamed it’s like your Ally and will protect you that’s why you need to leave the area once you tame your pet so it has a chance to survive and make it to your camp.
You go into the daily oops then go to the menu hit quit to the menu then load a server you want to check on. The whole point of the daily oops is so that you can load back right into that spot without having to run to it.
@NuclearWisdom o oky what i usually do is put a tent close by like render distance but still close by like that spot with the swamp because its so far from fast traveling points
Sounds like you have the wrong perk cars on, Make sure its only animal friendly. Also the animal need to spawn by its self no other npc can spawn with the animal or it wont be tamable
@@NuclearWisdom I think mine is glitched or something because I NEVER get that option.... I figured it was because I'm level 45.... But I also noticed yesterday absolutely NO animals were present anywhere in the game and I'm not even getting the option to pacify anymore.... My card is 3*
I cant get deathclaws to spawn, only blue devils and 1 ogua so far...did they remove deathclaw solo spawns? Edit: 2....ogua spawns...still no deathclaws.. Edit 2: oh look, another ogua...no dc
@@NuclearWisdom at the time I commented I had already been hopping servers for about 6 hours. Thanks to your tip on the daily ops aspect, it saved me a lot of run time, so I was able to do like 1 hop per minute. So 60 hops per hour or so. Literally hundreds of hops today since like 1 am (I have insomnia), and not a single solo deathclaw spawn. Probably got over 100 or so blue devils, like 20 oguas, a few dozen wolf encounters, no megasloths either though, and only 1 deathclaw vs super mutant spawn. But absolutely no solo deathclaws. I honestly am starting to think that the blue devils spawn rate has over written the deathclaw spawns at this point. I'll try for another hour or so, if I don't get one by then I'll probably just give up and go farm something else.
@@astralequilibrium2600 well I am glad I could help you at least some with saving you time and all. I will have to look into this, I have been hearing more and more reports of people having a hard time with the spawn and I will have to update this video and maybe even add more locations for spawning animals. Like you said the spawn could be over diluted with other creatures spawns.
@@NuclearWisdom thanks, that would be much appreciated. Your video on taming animals was the most recent one I could find, most of the others were outdated from a year or more ago. And I haven't played in about that amount of time and I wanted another deathclaw at my camp so I tried to find an updated guide. But it seems recent updates have obviously changed a few things regarding spawn rates it seems.
Yea Most Content Creators do a one time run on a video and hardly follow up with a updated version, I will see what i can figure out and if i do come up with a updated video i will make sure i pin the link to this video in the comments and also update the video with a link and what not.
