I cannot emphasize how much I love these videos, you break the lore down in a way that is easily digestible but still extremely detailed which is hard to do. Here's hoping these videos gain traction because you deserve some recognition
Just wondering, but with the BOS on their way, have you looked into the messages they've been sending, both encrypted and not? The messages were decrypted a while ago by dataminers (including me) but it might make for an interesting overview. I'd be particularly interested to know your thoughts on what we've found.
I haven’t had a chance to get caught up on that yet, but I seem to be getting through the class content on backend development more quickly, so I’ll take a look and see if I can’t put something together, it being a time sensitive thing and all. Thanks for alerting me to it.
@@IrresoluteCartographer Cool! Here's the messages and all, as decoded a while back. www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/gyd9db/all_transmissions_decoded_an_update_on_patch_20s/
I’ve seen the messages now, and I have a general concept of their route, I think I’ll need to put together a little more on the background of this though. Once I’ve got that I can put a video together. Thanks again.
How about an off the wall non sequitur..."I'm back...I'm harder than a heart attack...Ain't nobody funky like me." I'm 62. ¿Is that what is called in today's parlance, Random, insane in the membrane...OK boomer! ? Anyway, good to see content as we are in the month that has Dog Days.
Haha, it’s good to see you again. I’ll probably have more content this month than the last two (not that that’s saying much). I’ve been getting a better handle on what I’m learning in this coding bootcamp these past two weeks, so I’ve been able to devote more time to other projects.
I always make a Camp Daniel Morgan in the game. Morgan and his men gave the british the same Hell as the Devils in Baggy Pants did the Nazis. When you care enough to send the very best... Lol. One thing the game gets right, hostile stressful situations, will always show what men and women are really capable of, good and bad.
I wish it looked more like the actual town but it’s still dope. I live literally 10 minutes away from this place IRL they would definitely be at least three gun shops lol this is West Virginia after all
In one of the videos on Watoga a talk about this a little bit, but effectively I think when we play a Fallout game, we are playing in a facsimile of the overall Fallout Universe. There are other towns that have documents mentioning locations that are no where to be found, there are towns without grocery stores and other necessities. If the developers made everything in the game true to reality, as it exists in the universe, the map would be way larger, with way more sparse content. This is the case with many game universes. The World of Warcraft, for example, has way too few farms to feed the masses. Too many mines and lumber mills have been overrun for the towns to really support any industry, but for gameplay reasons it works. In all of the Appalachia we play in there are two high schools and no elementary or middle schools. This is not likely the reality of the Fallout Universe.
I assume it’s just because they reorganized everything when they put it in the game. Because the towns are in different places, with different surroundings, they renamed the highways too
You're saying the vault what where and where is Meijer what where? You need to work on this dude. Just some constructive criticism! I can't even finish watching this you're talking so fast and making zero sense!
I'm sorry but you're not explaining any of this very well at all you're talking too fast and this is gobbly gook to me and I live here now. You need to explain this much better. No offense. The opening video and you're just talking so fast and it does not sound like it's making sense at all.
Sorry I’m talking too fast in this, it’s an issue I’m constantly having to work on for these videos. I’m making a list of videos that I’m considering remaking due to quality issues, I’ll add this to it.
