@@BBKDRAGOON Agreed! I’ve got a group of friends opening a support center for new players down the road from The Wayward over the weekend, should be fun.
I'm in the same boat, but for me it went from terrible to ok. It's a good time killer side game. It's become unique in its own right. The only reasons I still play is because it's a fallout universe, and the long time players are insanely powerful so I have a drive to want to reach that level. The main story/stories/expansions? is pretty interesting but just badly executed.
@@calebcaleb4983 My wife and I are long term hard-core Fallout fans since 1 and 2. We avoided 76 because of the negative reception, we picked it up after the TV show and I gotta say I like it a helluva lot more than Fallout 4. It ain't perfect but it's hearts in the right place.
Leveling isn't hard, those early 20 levels will fly past. I'd suggest starting at the bottom, it's no race; leveling from the ground up is part of the fun, don't rob yourself of that experience. Only suggest it for returning players that want to start over with already went through the low level stage before and don't want to do it again.
@@ktm19981 If you already wanna skip a very small part of the game at the start.. the grinds the game will throw at you a little bit later might be way too much. But you do you! Have fun, it's a blast!
I had barely exited the vault with a character I created like last year. I finally got into it a couple days ago and was thinking creating a new character and didn't, I would have spared 2 days of leveling (I am already level 19, it is a very easy game, especially for FO veterans). I am on my way to Whitespring now and I hadn't thought about using other layer's camps for fast travel! Overall quite helpful guide, especially for some of the online and endgame-ish stuff, thanks!
Easy game? You should see the kinds of things this game has thrown at me . A hoard of ghouls no joke like I just stumbled around the wrong block in the walking dead a deathclaw in doors and a XB55 3 stars the moment you peak him your dead both the npcs that were helping me were useless against it as well idk how you have such a different experience but this game is more difficult than the others for sure
@@shinji2224 maybe it's the scaling, now that I am past level 30 I start to see some challenge, but at its current state it has been too forgiving for the first couple dozen hours.
I'm fairly new to fallout 76 and the community is amazing only one player shot me so far, gta online I've had to go invite only as nearly everyone tries to kill my player 😅
One thing that will surprise new players is just how awesome and generous the community is. I can’t tell you how many times someone just walked up and gave me something for no reason lol plus there is no shortage of people willing to help you progress.
I bought 76 the day it came out and up until today I only had 5hrs playtime considering I absolutely love fallout. It's a lot different now from what I remember and I'm at 15hrs enjoying the hell out of it. Thanks for the video, it helped a lot!
I just started last night for my first ever time. I only made it out of the vault for 10 minutes before getting off because I got confused so here I am finding a starter guide
Starting at level 1 is not a bad decision at all! gives you plenty more time and understanding of the game especially if you are just getting into the Fallout games!
I tried playing the game when it first came out. Didn’t get past the 1st hour of the game. I played it again started a game last night and had the best start. I came out the vault level 20, as soon as I come out there’s 2 guys in power armor level 228 and 316 or something. I’m drunk at this moment , I walk up level 20 and start talking crap challenging them to a fight saying they don’t wanna lose to a level 20 and calling them princess and crap and the was laughing with me and gave me a BUNCH of free crap. Ammo, 60 stimpacks, couple guns and armor and man I was so much helpful. We talked for like 5 minutes. If those guys happen to see this comment THANK YOU. I’m completing quest 20 levels past mine thanks to them
I just started playing. Played all other Fallout games. But hold off on 76 because of how people felt about it when it released. It seems to be a great game now. Thanks for the guide!
Best video for new players.Every video I saw prior to this one was all about tricks and containing a lot of spoiler.Your video is the best, straight forward and giving us the guide we needed! Game is a little confusing in the beginning
Thank you so much for this Video. Played Fallout 76 when it came out and wasn't to happy with it, bought it again with the last Steam Sale and these Tips were really useful
Started to play after the amazon series and I’ve been having a blast. I dont play videos that often anymore (life happens) but I remember casually playing fallout 3 back in the day and playing 76 now ,it brings a lot of good memories.
Thank you for this video. I am coming back to the game after 4 years and I had no idea I didn't have to interact with my teammates lol. And like someone else said, 76 content is goated.
I"ve not played Since Fallout 4 New Vegas like 10+ years ago, heard bad things about 76 which made me sad - I'm glad to hear it's FINALLY worth playing. Downloading it to my Ps5 right now, thanks for the great guide!
My character is level 26, still only has leather armor and his best weapon is a level 20 legendary revolver I got as a quest reward. He pretty much gets DESTROYED by most enemies and it can take anywhere from 2 shots (scorched) to 50+ to kill the hermit crab things and 100+ shots to kill a deathclaw (from a safe area of course because they kill me in two hits). I have a level 22 character in Fallout 4 with full T-60 power armor, a legendary minigun/rocket launcher, a legendary sniper rifle that does over 90 damage and you never have to reload it, etc. I feel like by the time I hit level 70 in Fallout 76 I might at least have combat armor or something... maybe half a set of power armor. I started at level 1 by the way, not level 20.
The introvert in me just ignored teams immediately thinking it was like raid teams. Good to know i was wrong. Another thing to point out about the pip boy is the animation takes longer to pop up with the traditional view but switching it to the over lay, it loads and closes faster. So realism vs functionality i guess. Cool feature though
I used to use the overlay but moved back to the traditional Pip Boy view because it was more immersive lol Buuut I have almost died a couple times because of how slow it is.
Me and my girl just started playing. After her rel9gging due to a wonderful glitch looking like it locked her in photo mode we went into a cave and actually started having fun....then got disconnected 😂 It just works 😊 Looking forward to trying it some more lol.
The best tip I can give u is to buy the plan. With out it once u reach a certain point the whole game turned into inventory simulator. It’s a good game now but the inv is a huge issue.
I know it's too much information for new players but you can try play it like it's a regular fall out game. You will learn stuff as you play and things will start to make sense soon.
@@100kejimaedaI'm lucky. I played Fallout 3,4,New vegas too. However i have around 200hours in Tom Clancy's The Division (not 2,but the first game). All i can say in some aspects this Fallout is like that Division game. Perks, loadouts, grind, craft and events. Right now i find this fallout quite enjoyable. I played 2.5 hours in a row and not mamy games can tie me to the chair for this long 😂
@@100kejimaeda I installed it yesterday morning. The end result was 10 hours all together. Not gonna lie,but Bethesda made a very good choice to not to abandon this. I'm not even lvl50 and judging by my division experience the real grind starts there
you forgot to mention , when comed to weapons /armor workbench, there is a number in the corner , so you can see how many mods you have already unlocked or by purchasing some plans required👍☕️.
I also set my camp up at the witespring resort golf area which is a convenient place for players to stop by my vending machine since it is a frequently visited place. Whitespring is also a nice place to loot objects containing copper and there's a Copper ore vein next to the golf area. I've setup camp there when i was lvl 40 and am still there now at level 93. The golf area is a big open grass field, so there is plenty of room to build whatever/however you want. Also purchased the Fallout 1st subscription so i can store unlimited junk/scrap and ammo, this was starting to get REALLY annoying to manage without the 1st subscription. Obviously it has other benefits as well , like the monthly atoms you get and the fallout 1st exclusive atomshop items. For me, the subscription is really worth it, i'm enjoying the game very much.. More than i thought i would.
Also you need to talk to Duchess which is in the wayward to get the 2nd Oversear's log which is for the main Quest. I was trying to look for the 2nd log for a challange and could not find it i started the Wastelanders DLC and found out that she gave it to me. and completed the audio log challange.
started my playthrough literally 2hrs ago 😂 after abandoning it at launch, so glad to see NPC’s and actual dialogue options. Still fucking hate Online V.A.T.S tho 😂😭
Fallout 76 has become my favorite Fallout Game and one of my favorite games of all time i have played all of them Fallout 1 which i purchased back when it came out because I enjoyed the game Wasteland and many of the developers who made wasteland formed Black Isle both gsmes were developed in post cold war era featured a unique take on the post apocalyptic genre the World of Fallout takes olace in an alternate timeline where the transistor was not invented in 1948 where America fully embraced the Atomic Age with open arms where the Internet never came into existence there was no information age and the Cold War never ended until 2077 when nukes were launched... I find this to be rather insightful from a game develped st the dawn of the information age like they truly understood how dramatically the Internet and the information age was about to change the world i love rhe old school sci-fi retro futuristic style the Tongue in Cheek dark humor and sarcasm I loved playing every game in this series and Fallout 76 i played from the beginning when the closest thing a human NPC was the super mutsnt Graham and the quests were all listening to holorapes left by dead people this incredibly depressing start ironically created a sense of unity amonst the Fallout 76 community that never went away even after human NPCs were added over the years i have grown to prefer the perk card system and real time vats more rhan the systems used in previous games Fallout 76 is an open world game in the Truest sense of the Word we can play this game however we like we can place our fully customizable camps prerty much anywhere on the map we choose and rhe fun never ends there is and has always been a relatively large and loyal player base that Tears thru new content much much faster than the developers can make it and in past few years we've been waiting impatiently for new content now wirh the TV series on Amazon this community has become much bigger 😎
Hi, returning player here, level 428 without exploiting so I know the base of the game, its still nice to see this video to refresh my memory. But I was wondering, where do I get the magazine stand at 5:38?
I find it better to start at lvl 2, makes it easier to get the perk build you want instead of getting a premade one that you will most likely switch most of the perks anyway.
Revamped the story indeed I made it to grafton in my first playthrough than stopped till now, playing with human npc really is a necessity it was just way too quiet without em
Good guide, quick and helpful. Veteran here, new players, DO EVENTS BUT DO NOT START EVENTS. Let the veterans start the events cuz we know roughly what the events needs number wise. (Except Easy events, you might be able to Solo those). This is especially true of Eviction Notice. This event is very easy to fail, so wait for players to show up. All the veterans will, so be patient.
Waiting till after my surgery on the 25th to watch the show. I'll be in the hospital for a month (paraplegic problems ♿️🤷♂️) so I just downloaded this and New Vegas to keep me sane! Thanks for the content, and subscribed! I have aquarium fish content, not just betta fish...but also some rare ones that most people probably haven't seen! If you are into that please give it a visit!
Vet Fallout player but never really gave 76 a chance due to all the negativity behind it. Thought I'd give it a go since the show and all the hype around it. Pumped in a few hours, and after this video, I am still feeling relatively 'meh' about it. But if you're new to fallout and enjoying this game, I highly recommend giving 3, New Vegas, then, 4 a go
I gave up on fallout 76 for PlayStation 4 when it came out because of the catastrophe it was when it launched but years have passed and The fallout show really brought me back into the world of the wasteland 🍻🍻🍻
the only thing killing this game for me is that there is no big city. i LOVE exploring downtown boston soo much its such fun to see big crumbling buildings on F4. seeing big mountain forests is killing me slowly lol
Bro I loaded in for the first time in 4 years and saw the donation box. I thought they were left for me by the overseer ☠️ now I feel terrible for taking everything
Alright so I’ve got some problems, I’m leveling up, level 52 now, and I have commando cards because everyone said that was the best build. But I’m still doing poop damage to anything that isn’t a basic enemy. To the point I feel like a leech at events where I kill like three things out of 4-40 waves of enemies. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I use a handmade gun with focus automatic reciever. Should I bail to melee? Or rifleman?
There's so many good games popping off right now I don't know whether I should play the fallout games again or destiny 2 because of the into the light update bringing back pinnacle weapons. I'm thinking fallout
Peri chose lvl 2 just bec it’s my first time playin an I want the full experience/ grind ig I’m lvl 8/7 probably 10 hrs in an it’s fun but I think I prefer fallout 4 more idk I don’t have friends also could be a factor but I also don’t really care for multiplayer games but idk Ima keep playin I wanna figure out how the base building works
Man just started yesterday after putting it off bc of bad reviews ngl love the gameplay and the multiplayer event dynamic but my god do the quests suck ass. I had a quest where for about a hour it was just to here press E to somewhere else press E rinse repeat if this game had better quests and a better story might be top 10 for me ngl so much fun
Please. Everyone makes these Guides but noone says how they make their Game look so Beautiful and Smooth. I already turned of Vsync but my game still looks NOWHERE NEAR yours Also, a question: Should i worry about Builds at all as a beginner or is that something i can change later on
I wann astart playing this game again , havent played it in years, since the xbox 1s but after the show i kinda want to get back into it. Now im on pc so it sucks a=haveing to start over fresh after all that time i put into it on the xbox...all my armor...all my weapons..this was before the npc's were added
I heard from other guides that picking level 20 at start is a bad choice, because the loadouts are all crap and since enemies scale, you are actually making it harder on yourself.
The last time I tried playing this game was a couple years ago and the FPS was atrocious and I have a decent PC. are the graphics/FPS still bad nowadays? Your fps looks really good
I watched some episodes of the series and decided to give the game a try, i don't know if it's just me but i feel like theres too much to do at once, specially when other players can just appear out of nowhere Is there any way to play it without co-op or something like that?
I remember walking to the overseers camp,i looted the box then realized,oh no what if this is someones camp,im a thief I didn't remember what I got, i felt so bad, but now I'm glad to find out that it wasn't a players camper close one ngl ,also just started playing yesterday, still need to complete the first mission, any fallout 4 players?
