I make videos about games I like & upload about 3 times a week. I love Halo, Titanfall, Battlefield, Battlefront, Arena FPS games, and the Souls series. I also love mountain biking and upload that from time to time.
I also don't understand the noise I've seen online from the community calling it "mid". I've been playing FPS arena shooters since Halo 3, COD 4 (OG) and the ones in between and I feel like XDefiant is the closest we've gotten to a great FPS arena shooter in years. Admittedly, I never played Overwatch or Valorant because they didn't really seem like my cup of tea. It would be a massive shame if the community lets this game down. I have 25+ hours in it and show no signs of getting bored. I will continue to play this game and support it, hoping the community feels the same.
Since the update I cannot contact the mod list on Ps5 ! Most of my mods seem to be working but there are details that I need to check such as where to find certain items. Its a weird and confusing situation! I really hope they intend to fix it! This is a great video, we need this kind of concise information when looking for help.
I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019). This game is still so much fun-especially Ground War. And the AUG, my favorite weapon ever? Chef's kiss. I'll be playing Modern Warfare (2019) until Black Ops 6 drops.
"Really, what the publishers have been trying to do for years now is to make their one game your sole source of time suck. They want you to put all of your time, money and engagement into that one game" This. Add in the fact that it feels like they are trying to monopolize your storage space with with their 300+ GB games so that you're really only stuck with CoD and maybe a small handful of other games.
1:57 The Gameplay + Design is why. Hands down one THEE BEST modern FPS gameplay in the last 20 years. (When there’s no network/server connection issues that is😭)
I absolutely adored D1, the game was my whole life for those 3 years. I played d2 from the beta but after Curse of Osiris I dropped the game, and now it seems wayyyy too complex and I don’t wanna jump back in until the next game (reset)
Battlefield 4 was amazing bc of the dev support after the notched launched, all the free content and the best easter eggs.. i feel battlefield 4 became a huge success bc everyone was amazed that devs owned up and made it right.. especially one under EAs thumb
Huge Mirror’s Edge fan! Really hope it’s not the end of the franchise either but I think it is… catalyst didn’t take off like I hoped it would. The puzzles and some of the main missions of catalyst were highlights to me. Got a little bored of free roaming faster than I thought I would though I will admit… something from catalyst was missing for me to make it near perfect. But a great game and you can get it for sooo cheap now!
What I do is I play a game(s) I'm interested in at the time, I won't buy the battle pass right away. For instance Xdefiant I'm level 47 right now in the battle pass. I haven't bought it yet. However when I'm level 50, I will buy it then so I know for sure I get everything I paid for. So if I lose interest and go to Apex or Cod I know that I got my money's worth ☺️
I love this game. It was my first multiplayer game I ever learned. And today the game is still up and alive. It took almost no time to find matchmaking constantly. Dude if they plan to put this games on Gamepass, I highly doubt they would close servers anytime soon
Always look back on mirrors Edge it was a fun game to get lost in for a few hours and even now graphically speaking it’s still very solid even the 1st one… definitely glad I got to experience these games… side note EVERY time I play the finals the mirrors edge map design vibes are SO heavy…
I was gonna say, people play less variety of games than 15-20 years ago in large part because they generally cost $70 out of the gate ($60 for the better part of the last 5-6 years). So if you can't feel like you would happily drop 100+ hours in to it, it's hard to validate the cost.
I love it when games was made with third person in mind but also support switch between third and first person. gave you another perspective of the game when you replaying it
I'm not a big fan of the idea that developing for current consoles and excluding last generation hardware is the best solution for improving the game play experience. Ultimately, it reduces the player base and doesn't actually provide any optimization, which would be the primary goal. Generally speaking, limitations breed innovation. I remember when Destiny 1 stopped supporting last gen consoles, and the expansions really didn't see much improvement in performance. All that changed was the file sizes increased and the player base became segregated.
Great video. So many games are so incredibly complex, that it takes almost the whole game to really understand all the mechanics and the complex interactions. Some games dont even bother explaining core mechanics as " thats too much handholding". On the second playthrough its such a better experience. I hated Starfield on my first playthrough, but recently watched a few videos that explained how the stealth mechanics have changed and what you need to do,,,and i found on my 2nd playthrough it was enjoyable.
I feel like they made the decision to deliver some games on Playstation too soon. This showcase was exactly what the brand needed. Gears of War looked awesome and a return to form. Black Ops 6 is looking great (COD player since COD2), Perfect Dark was surprising, Indiana Jones felt like a movie with the cutscene and how the story was being told and Stalker 2 looked really cool despite never having played a stalker game. Sarah Bond was very cringe to me imo and I don't like seeing her on the stage.
It doesn't matter at all. No matter how good game is, I will never play it twice. Maybe 5 years later if its something like gta v. Games forcing us to play them few times in a row is a disgrace.
