They are 100% going to be more than just cosmetics from what I've seen on the datamining discord server they will allow you to actually feed and take care of your pets along with functioning like a collector over time. (As it is datamined content things can change so take what I say with a grain of salt) IDK if they will allow you to take them outside of the C.A.M.P but fingers crossed EDIT: okay so I think they might actually allow you to bring them with you anywhere mainly because one of the triggers/commands is PETS_Travel_RunBackToCamp (This is datamined content so it might not make it into the final cut)

I really hope they’re not camp bound either! If mean if Bethesda can do it with ESO and have pets follow you around , I’m sure they could code it into Fallout 76! Understandably they’re two different games but the coding formula should be the same … hopefully 😅

I’m not 100% certain as there’s no PTS notes discussing this as these were images datamined from the PTS. I assume that this system will be separate and more of a system that works around you the player character, I dont think it should interfere with pets at your camp as those pets take up your build budget 🤞🏻

@@irredax56 I agree as well. Plus that 3 ding sound came from A Haunted, Haunted, The Haunted or whatever it's called from Animal Planet. Only with a faster take. It's on Tubi at the moment. Ghost show but involving pets. It's pretty good.
