In the scene on the bridge, when they are raising their hands, you can see Lucy’s hands, with the decayed finger that had been attached by the robot in the Super Duper Mart. The cute music playing in the background is “Ladyfingers” , performed by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.

I love the cosplay. It may not be a necessity, but it demonstrates your love of the franchise and the extra bit of effort you put into your videos to add to their visual appeal. As always, I enjoyed watching your reaction, and I'm looking forward to the next video.

Gaelan makes a good point. The costuming is an oddly cool differentiator for this channel. Kageric actually cares personally enough to cosplay it up, not for the video clicks per se but... and I'm guessing here... because she'd be dressing up in a Vault jumpsuit just to watch the show regardless if she was filming or not. Of course since I have the same brand jumpsuit (Thanks K!) , I know how hekkin' comfortable it is so there's that bit of insider info. 😁

You might not know this if you haven't played Fallout 1 and 2. Many of the people in Shady Sands that started the NCR were from Vault 15.

It's easy to miss, but when Lucy and Maximus are standing outside of the "hospital" arguing about going in, the back side of the vault entrance is right there in the background.

Lucy "WHY" because you are wearing a valuable pip-boy and it was too much for the fiends to resist. IMO the brotherhood did not bomb shady sands, they just showed up because someone had triggered a nuke. Max was not the only survivor.

Personally I think this is my favorite episode of the show. I really love the bridge scene and the whole vibe of the episode just feels so fully fallout to me. Also something I find interesting in the bridge scene is how similar each person in the corresponding group looks like each other. Maximus and the fiend guy both have similar scars on their noses, and Lucy and the fiend lady have similar eyes and general facial structures. They are kind of like a twisted mirror to each other. But on the fiend side the lady attacks first, or at least draws her gun first. Might be nothing there, but it just feels interesting. Thanks for this great episode! These have been so fun to rewatch with you. Love hearing your thoughts snd theories as the story opens up

This has to be one of my favourites too! I also loved ep 1 just as much. Ohh I didn't notice that about how they had similarities, very interesting! I found it interesting how she seemed to draw her weapon as she saw the pip-boy? Perhaps it was because she thought it'd make her some good caps. Thanks for enjoying this episode with me! 💙👍

How can Thaddeus understand anything when Maximus just says “ He’s dead” and “we just need to get our story straight”. This was a time for an immediate full explanation (fudging a bit to lie about letting Titus die, of course). Also the time to do that was before branding him!

the Mysteries are revealed! What is the situation with 31, 32 and 33? who bombed Shady Sands? remember, when asked why he joined the brotherhood of Steel, Maximus answered "To hurt the one who hurt me" To make the Scene at the railway bridge even better, the piece of music playing is named "Ladyfingers" 🤣 I find it very interesting that the Vault whos mission is to safeguard and "rescue" America, prefers gello-cake over apple pie. Apple pie is one of those things that are iconically american... what does that say about the vaults? 33:05 Interesting theory! I mean she said that it was her moms presence that made it feel real though...

Actually I want to play 3 all over again, not starting blindly again, but knowing now how the games works and not doing dumb things for an extended period of time. Like passing mini-nukes by because they LOOKED heavy to me, etc. etc.

@@Kageric I don't know if I could do that! One dumb thing I did one time was I tried to talk to a prisoner while crouching, and was surprised to find I picked their pocket and lost karma. I was so bummed. It turned out that I died shortly after, so that was not saved. I dunno, it might be fun to try an evil run, but I may not have it in me.

@@Kageric I bet!! That moment when you saw Lucy and squee/nerded out was cute lol. It really is quite good for not getting custom pieces!! outside of the Vault Suit itself, of course lol. Also, great comment on the lighting in that shot when Lucy and Maximus shake hands. I love the way they use darkness and lightness and how it conveys where the characters are at in their journeys. Maximus had the darkness surrounding him, and light is pushing in to the main frame. With Lucy, she's above Max, and there's a lot of light, but there's darkness at the edges.

One of my favorite things was.when you said what's in the mash potatoes, my.mind went immediately to Solent Green and thought mash potatoes are people. 9:00 It's not like he actually has the authority to make such a deal. 11:42 IIRC Lucy said in the ghouls episode that Rose died during the famine in 2277. 14:43 Cricket. 27:12 It definitely was just the arm. The NCR was not just in NV. And Shady Sands was also a major location in Fallout 1 & 2.
