I think the "Old Lady Gibson is ex-Enclave" theory stems from the fact that she and Doctor Henry (an ex-Enclave scientist) met while caravanning sometime ago. This, including her knowledge of tech, could point to the possibility of her being ex-Enclave but any other potential evidence is scarce.
I think you're right. It's definitely possible but I personally think it's unlikely, mostly due to the fact she tells us her story in game and there's only (partial) evidence that she could be.

"power armor needs no training" might be referring to the fact power armor training was made up by bethesda for 3, and none of the previous fallout games required any sort of training to wear it. funnily, they basically retconned their retcon for 4. your idea on it could be what they were thinking, though.
That definitely could be it also! Yeah it's interesting they made it kinda like an iron man suit in 4. I think it's cool but that does kinda retcon it.
Hey don't know if you'll see this but in camp mccarran there's a terminal near Curtis that reveals the NCR has ordered to plant a sniper den near Cottonwood Cove and leave it for future use once finished. This explains why the sniper is different, because it is meant to succesfully kill legionaries at very long ranges (something I doubt a hunting rifle can do) and be used by any NCR scout passing by. This is also why it's hidden in a very hard lock.
Ah that's so cool! Yeah that makes sense then. I love little lore bits like that. Things that aren't necessary and most won't even notice but it does add a little something if you do end up stumbling across it. Thanks so much for bringing that up!

Veronica is one of the few NPC’s outta any game, maybe Meryl from MGS1, that had me emotionally attached to them not cause they were a girl, there were plenty of girls but they were chicks with personality to them. Meryl being a hard ass fighter that doesn’t wanna give up her role to some man cause she can do it too only to become a whole leader later on and she has a SQUAD, and Veronica, she likes to punch things she’s very good with repairing, and her personality is just extremely outgoing. Every conversation with the character is a good one, and her quest with the brotherhood gives them more depth as well. On top of the whole dress thing that shit is cute I felt like an older brother helping his little sister find something nice
I did an unarmed play through for the first time because of Veronica and it was one of the most fun play through ive ever done. They did such a good job with unarmed in new vegas

Great vid and I love the RU-vid algorithm for finding you, though as a fallout fan I must be a jerk and say that the Old Lady Gibson myth is not a mix up with Daisy! Whilst on the quest, Ain't Nothing But a Hound Dog, you can mention to her that you are looking for a new brain for Doc Henry (who is ex-enclave) and Gibson says that she's familiar with him. Whilst she says that they met on a travelling caravan, given her age is similar to the rest of the remnants in addition to her clearly being knowledgeable with technology the theory goes that she is secretly ex enclave. She'd probably want to keep that knowledge on the down low anyway. Can't wait to see part 3!
