So our world and the fallout world take different paths during the 1950s, where in our world we to an extent rejected nuclear energy, in the fallout world they embraced it, to the point that bikes, cars, boats, trains and even planes used nuclear energy. corporate company's became increcingly greedy, causing them to commit some outrages crimes against humanity. then around 2060 an event called the resource wars occurred between Europe, China and America. The USA annexed Canada. Europe fell apart due to so many countries arguing between themselves. Then the American government allowed a company called vault tech to build shelters all over the states, these were perceived to be for chosen people to remain safe, however the people who entered would often be subjects of social experimentation unknowingly and then in 2077, a war between China and America occurred with a battle in alaska aswell the Chinese had infiltrated spies all over America. The war lasted 2hours with the atomic inhalation of the world. Theirs a lot more to it and I might have butchered the lore a bit but thats pretty much the jist of it.
yeah they came out as dos games (well also as dos games rather not sure about f2 though it's been so long) and were the spiritual successors to wasteland a game that came out in '88 i believe
@@FifthOfNovember_Original Agreed. Don't get me wrong, Fallout 4 being narrated by Nate was fine - but Ron Pearlman IS the voice of Fallout to many fans.
Some people are critical of the ghoul character, because ghouls in the games look a lot more like truly rotting zombies, even if they retain their minds and are peaceful. The producers explained that something unique happened to this guy when the bombs dropped. He's still a ghoul, but his complexion and features are a bit less revolting. I think this was worked into the story on purpose, so that people with weaker stomachs don't have to watch a corpse fall apart for most of the movie, lol.
Appreciate the knowledge there...actually did not know that. I know it's got a big following of fans so hopefully the series leads up to the hype. Haven't heard any backlash about the character yet.
@@ManCave101Podcast I love the aesthetic of it. The 50's styling and music. But the open wasteland of fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4 are fun if you like first person RPG. I am going back and playing the first game. I fell in love with Fallout from that one. Great writing, the world is immersive and the characters make it so good. I'm definitely a Fallout fanboy.
This trailer looks the most stylized off of F4, I would recommend playing that but the series is taking place on the west coast. With that being said, I'd recommend F1/2 or FNV.
