He was the sleeper hit of the show to me. I didn't think he would be so good after watching just the first episode, but then over time, every cut back to vault 33 got me more fascinated and in the end he's probably my favourite character. Fantastically acted for a well-written role
@@BennyGoId I'm questioning whether Norm decided to go into his dads cryochamber or not, instead of doing that he could actively try to sabotage the experiment and find a way to open all of the chambers. If he did decide to go into the chamber this could then lead into Chet having a bigger role and eventually plucking up the courage to find the truth himself, but who knows, i like the fact that it's open-ended enough that there are multiple possibilities that could occur in the next season.
I really thought early in the season vault characters gonna be jut a throw away people, im so happy i was wrong. He was one of my favorties on season 1
I almost wrote Norm off when he was introduced as the stereotypical unmotivated little brother, then he was quickly shown to be loyal and driven. Also, I'm having a bit of trouble over the fact that Moises Arias is two years older than his "older sister."
One of the things that really impressed me about the show, is that even the ancillary characters have their moments of brilliance. Norm's inquisitiveness in diving into the mysteries of Vault 31/32 made him a surprisingly interesting character. Likewise, Chet's line about being a coward in the last episode was unexpectedly poignant and insightful for a character that isn't a focus of the show.
The writers did a great job balancing each character to the point where it was equally exciting every time they returned to any character. Norm's storyline was surprisingly enthralling and managed to perfectly tie into the story of every character by the end
I thought I was going to hate his character, by the way he was talking about Lucy's potential husband etc. but he quickly turned into a great character. I hope he's present in S2, not just chillin' in a cryo chamber!
Norm should insist on getting his character implemented in the games to follow. You can do it, kid I personally would like to see Norm, Chet and Thad in season 2 as well, evolving to bigger characters of the show. Steph and Ma I have no doubt would resurface again.
