That sounds awfully like the news report where the dude only got off once he convinced the court to make the police look at the traffic footage to I'd his number plate.

According to a police blogger (about 15 years ago) many of the false allegations are s&x workers whose clients have refused to pay up afterwards. That bumps up the figures a bit, but I’m convinced they are more common than claimed. It’s a nightmare because nobody wants the extra pressure on genuine victims of this crime; but a sane world (ahem) would care about the lives of those who might be falsely accused as well

These clinics can actively prevent contracting STDs, they're there to find and treat any injuries. What a thing to turn down even if it was an entirely consensual encounter. You could just go there and talk about your medical needs but refuse any examination, like take some prophylactics as a precaution.

Meanwhile women are murdered by men who felt entitled to her. Stalkers who threaten lives of people who want them away from them. And nothing is done, and the women end up murdered. Ask yourself this, if you are smart enough, is there a connection in high rate of murdered women and police who say that 99% of women are liars? Is there a connection of places with a high rate of calls to police, the police ignore as serious, mostly being an eventually murderers residence? Maybe police should bump up their required intelligence level of their officers if we want to stop this world wide femicide epidemic you men feel entitled to engage in. There are liars of course, they are repeated liars and actively receiving therapy, as if almost there is a strong correlation with mentally off people lying and committing crimes. Everybody should have that camera because police are not doing their damn jobs.

I'm not a police officer, but I know that lying comes naturally to females, and that they see nothing wrong with it.

Makes no difference if you have the evidence proving your innocence & their guilt, if there’s sufficient individual benefit to those involved in law enforcement, and, those individual benefits also benefit the group: protecting the true criminal at the expense of both the victim & the public, is then the natural course of action… …decisions by everyone involved at that point - including judges & appeals - will more often than not favour the accuser, not the victim or the public. Edit: because any ‘backtracking’ leads to reprisals for individuals, and to protect themselves & the group, the group protects the true criminal.

That is a really good point. . . . . . . . with rapists there is too often a track record - why it is essential that all incidents are recorded with the police, even if it does not proceed to trial at that time. Simmilarly one inclined to make false accusations will also have a track record. Though in my case every time the police realised that the bunny boiler who I had to deal with was lying, the police immediatly failed to deal with the false accusation and run away from the whole issue asap. This menat that the situation kept repeating itself.
