Typical police pull you over for no reason then try to find a reason after theyve pulled you over!

Road traffic act is a joke. Gives them to power to pull you for no reason whatsoever. But in an attempt not to appear like the little scrotes they are they make up excuses.

I liked the way you guys stayed calm and polite through out and were confident. Stood your ground and instructed them of your rights...how they were wasting your time and looking for a reason to validate them stopping you. The police are in the media spotlight at the moment across the country. Its time they were vette for abusing power and corrupt behaviour

The best advice anyone can give you when you talk to the Police is, DON'T TALK. All talking does is give them a way in, to get you to self incriminate. Let them do their legal checks, ask for their collars and warrant cards, and repeat the phrases.....I don't answer questions, am I being detained, am I free to go. And if possible, always record any interaction. Policing is based on consent, not compliance.

This is why I have a lawyer and every single time press charges against police,any time,any opportunity,I sue them,win many already.

There's not just a seat on the back to carry passengers, they're is also handle bars/grips on BOTH SIDES FOR A PASSENGER. A driver of the quad is NOT going to need those lol.

Here in Canada factory built two seaters are legal for two but add on seats are not legal for two. Here it is illegal to drive on public roads without a helmet much like a motorcycle.

Section 163 Road Traffic Act makes this stop perfectly legal. Don't be mad at the police, they didn't make the law, parliament did. Why not campaign to have it changed? I have been stopped before for no reason. I let them check my driving licence and my insurance and went on my way. I don't see the issue here ?

Shouldn't have pulled into the bus stop. Technically against the law, so the cops were breaking the law too, especially as they pulled you over at a moment expecting you to pull into the bus stop. If I was able to think quickly enough, I would have pulled up in the lane just past the bus stop and just before the traffic island in the middle of the road, just enough for traffic to get by. Also stopping any bus from leaving the bus stop. This is how the conversation would go: Cops: "You can't stop here" Me: "Why did you stop me here then?" Cops: "You should have pulled into that lay-by" Me: "That's not a lay-by, that's a bus stop" Cops: "Whatever. You should have pulled in there" Me: "So you're saying I should have illegally used a bus stop because of your ignorance of the law?" ...and so on. Would probably never have got to why they stopped me as the traffic now backing up would put too much pressure on their tiny little brains.

Carry a Tyre Gauge and film yourself checking their tyres

you can request a copy of the in car camera footage , if the brake lights are shown to working then they lied under Oath , cannot see if their body cams were on, if so request copies also as there will be audible recordings of the lie

Abuse of section 163 RTA light out telling lies, surprised they aren't wearing the Blue Line gang badge, also surprised they didn't breath test and drug lick you for good measure, then question the insurance validity, always film any interaction with these tyrants .. fishing expedition fail ..

Someone told me something about quads and I think they’re right , He said, if you look at quads versus cars versus motorbikes. Quads have all the disadvantages, of a car without any of the advantages, like weather, protection and crash protection. Also Quads have all disadvantages of a motorcycle without any of the advantages like filtering through traffic, fast easy to store. He said the worst of both worlds. So I am interested in any logical reason to have a-quad on the road at all.

I been stopped twice on my can am , fully comp insurance, taxed , full licence etc ... they don't recognise Road legal quads cos of all the bad publicity of off road vehicles. Good luck lads keep on riding..

I got stopped by the local constabulary up here on my Blue Raptor 700, I asked them why I had been stopped. Their response was, they had reports of a black quad driving erratically and doing wheelies in the town centre. I looked at my quad, look back at them. Told them it was blue, jumped back on and drove off. They then had the cheek to follow and pull me over again, to ask why I drove off.....

3rd stop lodge harassment charge and it will get flagged not to stop unless breaking definitely breaking the law.

I used to ride a 125 on a cbt and I wasn't allowed a passenger. But if I rode a 50cc moped I could take a passenger. I always thought this was stupid as a 50cc hasn't got the power to cope with being 2 up

Had a raptor 700 road registered and I got tortured!! People would phone the police on me all the time thinking I was illegally riding an ATV on the road. One of the reasons I sold it. Also they r super dangerous and dont handle that well on tarmac.
