You hope the "kids" are okay? They're middle-aged adults in their late 40's and 50's. I think Patricia has served enough time. It was a garden-variety murder, a wife killing a husband. Murder of a spouse is pretty common. She has served almost 40 years. Lots of murderers are paroled after 25 years. It's time to cut her loose.

@@jonstone9741 She's a cold blooded killer. There are no moral or ethical justifications for her release. She won't even admit to committing the murder, much less showing any remorse. And then even ended the episode by saying even if she did do it, she should be let out just because she’s in her 70s. Lol what?

How often does a mysterious stranger who is neither short nor tall, and smells like cigarettes and motor oil, *give up* his sexual assault and leave? There's probably assaulters who smelled a lot better, yet still persevered. Also -- she had an affair with *John Hancock?* How is that even possible? He died in 1793! Did her defense team introduce evidence that proved the existence and workability of what we can only assume was a "time machine"? I've scanned the transcripts and there's *nothing* about that!

I think that she presents an attractive persona (at least from her photos in her younger days) and that can have an effect on people. Her assertion about being sexually unsatisfied by her husband makes some scoff at the cuckolded victim and he sexual assault story from her past arouses sympathy for her and contempt for his supposed lack of compassion. People believe what they want to even when the facts contradicts their beliefs.

How did the police know to look in a pond? Where did that clue come from?

Does that literally change anything from the fact that the gun used to kill Bill was found in that pond?

It’s usually the spouse. And she talked to all the ex boyfriends about murdering him. And the gun was their own. Something about her pictures, her prideful smile and fierce eyes and her ‘my fire burns hotter than others’’ statement paints a possible narcissistic picture in my mind. Is that prejudice or a gut feeling?
