I’m a Brit and I would like to apologise to all Americans on behalf of myself and others who believes the Pat Tillman award should have gone to an American.

I’m a British veteran and think it’s disgusting that Harry went through with accepting the award. I think Meghan’s narcism has really rubbed off on him over the years.

American veteran's wife here. It's evrything they do. Insulting Mary Tillman is just the latest. I lost my mother at a young age as well, but I don't grind it into people's faces. We wish those two would shut up and go away.

As an American, I detest Meghan for her ruthlessness in pursuit of her prince. I detest Harry for his weakness. There have been many occasions in which even he cringes at her crassness, yet says nothing. I detest them both for inflicting pain on the Queen and Prince Philip in their last months alive. H&M are despicable. Lastly, I detest that they think us stupid! Especially Meghan with all her lies! She thinks we don't remember what she's said and done before, or what has gone on before.

By accepting the Pat Tillman Award, Harry showed Americans, Britons and the entire world how little respect he has for anyone other than himself and that his fame-hungry, grasping wife.

I’m American and I don’t care if the Tillman award goes to American veterans or vets from another country, I just want to see it go to someone deserving and not the entitled jerk that is Harry.

American here… I am disgusted that Harry got this award. He is the total opposite of the honorable Pat Tillman. And I found it appalling they had true veterans injured in the line of duty, hand him the award. An entitled brat who was protected in a bunker during this whole time “serving.” It’s a disgrace!

Comparing the pain of a mother who loses a child with that of a child who loses their mother is disrespectful, one of the many disrespectful things Harry has done lately.

As an American veteran, a mother, and a daughter, I can tell you there is no way you can compare losing a child to losing a parent. When you lose a parent, your heart is broken, when you lose a child everything is broken, your heart, your spirit, your reason for being. Harry comparing the two is beyond disgusting. There are so many reasons Harry should not have accepted that award, but the fact that he did even knowing Pat's mom Mary didn't want him to is the height of disrespect. And it's not the Invictus Games anymore, it's the Harry and Meghan show, also totally disgusting....

I’m from the UK and I cannot stand the pair of them and im ashamed of their behaviour

This award should be limited to Veterans in the US not for a people who are traitors to a foreign country

I am American and I want to see actors of all colors playing all characters and all rolls. People are people. Now regarding Harry and Meghan, The UK royals bring in Billions for the UK economy but Harry and Meghan only bring in $$ for themselves while using royal titles. Thats why we dispise them.

Who was insensitive enough to even nominate Harry for the Pat Tillman award. I bet Meghan pushed Harry to accept the award despite the backlash.

Harry has ruined his mothers memory and legacy

I am one of the over 70,000 who signed the petition. I didn't think it would do any good, particularly, but I felt I had to do something.🇺🇸

As a US military wife, husband now retired and mother of a son who deployed, I will also agree, how dare Harry compare the feelings the mother of someone who has lost her son in war to anything that “he” has felt. What world does he live in to think this would be in any way appropriate? He is a member of a royal family. While Princess Diana was an iconic world figure and his loss was I am sure tragic, it can not be compared to a mother losing her child. I did not lose my son in war but the fear of it while he was deployed was something I battled every single day while he was gone. It was an unbelievable struggle and when my daughter-in-law called to say my son was on US soil I fell to the ground sobbing with relief. I can not begin to imagine what Pat Tillman’s mother has gone through. How DARE Harry not only accept this award against her wishes, but then have the hubris to try to compare his loss to hers. It just is a foolish, selfish and clueless thing to do.

Harry's patronizing endorsement of Pat Tillman's mother, Mary Tillman, was beyond what a decent person could have imagined. An act of condescending arrogance given the limelight in a carefully staged appearance.

75,000 petitions is not enough??? What would constitute a "good" amount? 500,000? 1,000,000? And what does Harry's mother's death have to do with the fact that he is acting like a despicable crumb? Nothing.

Harry and the wife didn’t walk the red carpet to dodge the booing, then Harry kept the 3 veterans on the stage to try and stop the booing. They then left early to again limit booing opportunities. He’s a real hero.

Saying "only" 75,000 people objected to him accepting the award is completely disingenuous; that's the number of people who bothered to sign the petition AND confirmed their email addresses, not the number who disapproved. I didn't sign, but I'm disgusted by the award & his acceptance.

One thing that upsets me about Harry, getting this award, was like throwing mud in Pat Tillman's, his Mom, and the US citizens faces. Pat fought for our freedom, while Harry is fighting underhandedly, against our 1st amendment. When he told the vet's to stay on stage FOR ME, just to have a shield against him getting booed. I am a US Veteran and I’m pissed that a foreign person who has only works 1 hour a week at Archwell, doesn’t do any charitable act unless it gets them attention and uses Invictus Games to keep him relevant and what he can get from it should have received an award that in honor of a man who gave up millions to honor our country . Invictus is a foreign charity, not even American. We have thousands of veterans who do way more charitable acts without publicity or profit. I understand that he was a child when Princess Diana and there have been many studies that show that people sometimes never grow past the age at time of trauma. I also feel he uses his mother as a crutch.

We are all sick of hearing about the beautiful Princess Diana , harry is turning me off plus lots of info coming out that wasn't in the public so harry has helped taint his mother's legacy .

Kevin, I feel the winds of change. I was born in 1966 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, known as "Bomb City, USA" back then. In 1976 there were something like 36 bombings from mafia wars and crazies like Weather Underground. Berkeley, CA was not the only crazy place in the 70's. Then I had the joy to live through Ronald Reagan being elected and the return of domestic peace and common sense. Eventually people have enough of unrest. Harry and his activist wife will become footnotes in history, especially after this attempt on Trump. People do want to make America great again. And that includes respecting our war heroes.

The irony that real heroes fought in real battle to give Harry the right to say he thinks the 1st is bonkers is absolutely lost on the coddled Prince of Whine

Members of the Royal Family don't go around buying themselves awards of this kind, that are unearned, in order to boost their public image. Allegedly Harry paid $250,000 for this award, which is NOT appropriate for, or intended for, celebrities like H. It's highly offensive to do this. Plus he's depriving a deserved member of the public, some recognition, and a well deserved boost to their lives. He's not deserved any of the Awards he's been very publicly given. He received a 'Living Legend of Aviation' award, when he's not even a pilot, never has been, because he repeatedly failed his pilots exams. He also got an award for 'Bravely challenging racism in the Royal Family', which was a blatant lie. Then he actually said later, the family are not racist, and they never said they were. Just shows what a farce, and an insult to our intelligence, these awards have been. You cannot expect to keep behaving in such underhand, and dishonest ways, whilst trying to project yourself as doing good deeds, and even preaching to the public. It's disingenuous and he makes a farce out of ordinary people, by doing this. People are getting incredibly sick of these two. They are highly offensive, in virtually all their actions.

Meghan and Harry got up and left the venue early too. While people were on stage still talking, they disrupted and obscured the audience's view while exiting and even stopping to interrupt seated guests (Serena's husband and daughter) to hug and say goodbyes. So rude and people were yelling at them to sit down. This is the height of rudeness. They really think they are so special. After Harry grabbed his undeserved award, they scarpered out of there before the presentation was done. Tomorrow it will be hyped as security issues.
