Besides the fact that this was one of the best shows of the 90's, what made it even better was watching my grandfather get a kick out of it. This brings back so many great memories of awesome times with my grandfather. He is probably bellied over laughing in heaven right now. Ahahaha good times.☺️☺️🤣
This show + Beavis and Butthead. I am a leftist but this show was a riot. They managed to fit in all sorts of characters and gave everyone moments to shine. Al Bundy was both laughable and serious. They took conservative talking points and made jokes that everybody could laugh about. Al is adorable in his stubbornness and "redneckness". Marcy is an equally exaggerated character the takes left ideas way too far and thus they are the perfect antagonists. And yet, when things go south, they all unite and fight together, for example when they beat up other families. Those were my favourite moments.
This seems like a memory from another life. I am 46 now but I remember Sundays along with the Simpsons and get a life and sit in the den with my grandmother and my mom and my brother and laugh until we were in tears. I even remember moving to Florida from Nashville Tennessee and there's an hour difference .I got to sit up until 10:00 and watch it. My brother is still with me but everyone else has long pasted 😔. I said it seems like another life ago ,in 2 years it will have been 30 years. Now when I watch married with children .I cry and fall nostalgic

I love the fact that Peg could've easily used a dustpan to sweep up the ashes that fell out of the grill and put them back in, but the thought never even enters her mind, because Peggy Bundy DOES NOT do housework. Completely in character 😂
just got back right now from labor day chicago trip.. ran into buckingham fountain with my friends and we all yelled married with children fountain!!!!
BEST TV show EVER in my opinion ! This was the good old days when you could be funny and insult someone all in good fun without people crying amd getting all in their feelings !! Back when people were mentally strong and could handle a good joke ! DAMN I MISS THOSE DAYS !
I always liked this show. The fact that Ed ONiel and Amanda Bearse truly can't stand each other makes the whole show even funnier. Marcy the chicken and Ed the slob.
The restaurant one is one of my favorites! "Olderama" and Kelly calls Al and Peg "dinosaurs " 🤣 Kelly and Bud don't return with Al's wallet so he and Peg have to scam their way out of the check!
For family activities, they should have included the stuck in traffic freeway fight, that was an epic beatdown, and the whole family participated. I've seen so many of these episodes so many times, I can actually recite the dialogue along with the cast.
