I love the way that baby horse bounces around the field so natural and happy! She was just a protective Mama. She wasn’t trying to be mean or aggressive and it’s hard to say maybe she had a difficult past or somebody had been cruel to her. She’s a beautiful horse and her baby is absolutely adorable! They’re going to have wonderful lives with caring owners! ❤🐴

I was pretty emotional during my pregnancies, too. So glad that both mum and baby found their proper homes.Bless them.

I want to thank you for doing this! As an animal lover myself I am so happy to see other humans doing what they can to help out animals in need if they have the means to do so.

I had an aggressive mare who couldnt go out with anyone cause she would fight them. Couldnt even walk another horse by her stall. But of course she has to be able to at least see the other horses. She was the best mare ever such a mommys girl and loved attention and pets. I used to hold her head in my arms. Rest in peace stormie, you are missed more then you know ❤

Reminds me a lot of a pony(named Brownie) my family 'rescued' from one of our neighbors whose rowdy kids just did not know how to treat a pony respectfully or like an actual living animal and not an inanimate object or just random other part of the scenery or a toy to make dumb sport out of with reckless shenanigans or something when I was a little. When we couldn't afford to feed her anymore, we allowed a different (slightly more recent) neighbor who was a big animal lover to take her in, but after that neighbor moved and ended up in a bit of legal trouble for keeping too many non-domestic animals without proper licenses she ended up given to a nearby ranch / riding stable, and I never got to find out where she ended up from there. Really broke my heart. Before my parents forced me to give her away, I had been the only one who was able to catch from our pasture(but once she was on the lead she was the sweetest thing if still a little flighty/spooky sometimes thanks to the trauma from her previous owners' rowdy kids), so my parents literally made me either personally hand her over to the neighbors or have been responsible for watching her starve in our pasture because it unfortunately just wasn't the greenest pasture in the world as we live in a pretty woodsy area; she was originally intended as a birthday gift for my eldest sibling, but she just ended up bonding with me instead because I was the really wannabe "horse-y" one and the one who cared to actually educate myself about anything relating to trauma responses and/or proper animal handling/training instead of just writing her off as "unmanageable" or "dangerous" and just leaving her out in the pasture untouched forever or whatever. I think our brownie was a little bit taller than this lovely mama though, and it was so long ago I'm not sure if our brownie would even still be alive anymore or not, but it's difficult to say for sure because I was so much younger and I don't recall if I ever knew her precise age or precisely how tall she was or wasn't and camera perspectives can be so misleading sometimes and things always seem a little different when you are still young and small yourself versus after you've fully grown so who really knows. 🤔🤷‍♀️🤷😁😁😁 Lol😊💖💖 In any case, I'm glad this fierce mama and her babe were given the chance to truly thrive and be loved that they so clearly deserve-thank you, kind humans! Keep up the good work!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙂💪🏼💪🏼
