Great to see families getting out there. Remember to promote Leave No Trace, specifically what you pack in you need to pack out, especially your garbage. Abraham Lake and other crown land areas have seen a huge increase in people leaving garbage where they camp or leaving it in or beside the local bear proof garbage cans. Thanks for watching! Yes, we make it a point to always make the kids do a cleanup, then the adults do a check once more before leaving the campsite. We always make sure that we have enough space in our truck to pack out our garbage. It's something we've been doing since we started camping 14 years ago when the kids were still babies. We fully understand how easy it is to lose our freedom to enjoy the outdoors if we don't take care of it. Everyone needs to do their part. Thanks again!
