Have you heard of the Wagah Border Ceremony? There is no other border quite like this one! This is the Attari Wagah border between Lahore, Pakistan and Amritsar, India. And every evening this ceremony is performed - called the Beating Retreat - at sunset as the border closes for the day and the flags of each country are lowered.
It is a spectacular performance of national pride and passion! It's LOUD! But the energy of each side has to be experienced!
We crossed over the Wagah Border from Amritsar to Lahore in June 2023. And this time we are back again in Pakistan to watch the Wagah Border Ceremony from Lahore.
