My point was , when cooking and carrying hot pots and pans and you got kids in the kitchen thwy could get burnt. You all can be smart with your cimments. But i dont want my family hurt.to manyin there can be dangerous.
The brown sugar is moist like that. Because Brown Sugar, is nothing but, Sugar and Molasses. That's it! So, if you are out of Brown Sugar and you have Molasses. You have brown sugar. The amount of Molasses determines Light and Dark.

For clarification sugar, brown sugar, and molasses are all from the cane in different stages during processing. The cane plant gives up its liquid (the molasses). It is further processed to produce dark brown sugar. Then more processing gives light brown sugar. Once again there is more processing and drying to give you white sugar. A lot of people get molasses and sorghum mixed up; sorghum comes from sorghum plant......a totally different plant. Sounds kind of confusing, huh.
The moisture that makes the sugar pack down like it does is molasses. That’s how they make brown sugar. They take regular white sugar. They add molasses to it for dark brown sugar add more molasses..
