They also need to find some way to work-in a "fast money" type situation at the end. That way the game doesn't get boring in a runaway. 25 seconds, handful of questions, poll the office, etc. It's baseball trivia, the questions are endless lol. Just have to sort out the details. Do the combatants become allies at the end for fast money? If so, what does winning the earlier rounds get you? Does the winner get to pick a teammate from the office? Does Zo step in as the teammate? So many options. It's more fun questions, great personalities on display for longer, and hilarity always ensues when racing against a clock. It would literally be impossible for that not to be good.
@@taysomhill2841 They could do fast money where the winner gets to answer everything first, loser gets 2nd round and theoretically has a harder time answering. Hell, turn it into a franchise series! lol
Popcorn isn't quite as popular a baseball food since the games are outdoors, make a giant mess, the butter is often awful, and it's kinda a bland item anyway. Least not where I've been.
I agree but that isn't what they were doing. They polled the office to find the single greatest ever and ppl didn't say Hank but I bet he's in their top five.
Definitely top five hitters. I don't know much about his defense, you never heard about that but that's probably partly because everyone was overshadowed by Clemente. I think he started in center for a little while which means he definitely had very good speed, wasn't he a 30-30 man once? So he probably did have the superb defensive skills for a top 5 player, just not Clemente-level arm.
To have Mickey Mantle ahead of Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Babe Ruth is just absolutely insane. I think they need to do some rehiring over there at Jomboy.
People think the Jomboy staff know a lot about baseball because they don't know anything about baseball themselves. Jomboy makes funny breakdowns, but he's got a lot of dumb takes
yeah that was weird. they seem to know stats of players from each decade of baseball, but can't recall when teams came into existence? very odd little hole in the memory there
My favorite thing about watching Jack in videos is I think there is a 50/50 split between one liners he just pops out with and one liners he's intentionally going for a joke with, and deciding which is which is like a separate source of entertainment on its own.
@@fuqwytes6458he’s really not, sure he has an MVP and a ROTY, but other than that he hasn’t really won anything. He’s a great player dont get me wrong but he’s nowhere near GOAT status YET
@@jacksmiley3959pencil in the 2nd MVP and also please pay attention to the fact that he's playing both sides of the ball at a level that no one has done in the big leagues before
The fact that neither Babe Ruth or Willie Mays made the top 3 on the greatest player category is highly disrespectful. I'm actually shocked neither contestant guessed Willie Mays. I get younger people were polled, but anytime I think of the greatest baseball players of all time, the first two names that come to mind are Ruth and Mays.
I was certain Mays would be on the board til I saw Ohtani at number one and was like, maybe this office does not care about players prior to their birth. I agree Ruth/Mays should be 1-2 or at least some combo for Top 3
Same. And that Hank Aaron wasn't even mentioned. Shohei could blow is arm out tomorrow, career over, then what? You're still calling him the greatest of all time?
6:40 I really can't tell if that was a mispronounce because of Weiner right before,or if that was intentional, because if so,he held that straight face for surprisingly long
You have to save those voice drops for another project. "Give me weiner" "I'm going penis" "I'm getting screwed by weiner" "There's never meat, Its wet-wet"
Office polls should use rank choice voting. If you ask for top 5 from everyone, you end up with more representation for people who make the list but aren't people's #1
i just wanna say that ken griffey jr’s best 10 years is in no way comparable to willie may’s best 10 year stretch, willie leads in literally every category
Best ballpark. I paused it here. For me. PNC Park. That bridge. Camden Yards. Wrigley. Fenway. Busch. Best batters' box view.. BYU. Just an amazing view
that greatest player of all time list is maybe the most offensive thing i've ever seen and i'm questioning if i can even stay subbed to this channel anymore. BARRY AT 2? BABE AT 4? OHTANI AT 1? i don't even have words for this list. i have to assume it was all a big joke at this point because anything else is UNIMAGINABLE!
I can't believe they were shocked the Yankees jersey was on there... The simple pinstripes and NY are so sharp and clean, the dark blue and white contrast better than red pinstripes like the Phillies (though I do like the Phillies jerseys)
Was there a reason the DBacks and Rays were different point amounts (same question for Marlins and Rockies) despite them joining the same year? Like was one granted the team rights first or something?
Camden Yards and Dodgers Stadium are easily 1 and 2 for most traveling fans, in my experience of course. PNC is just kind of a diet Camden Yards, great sky line but its doesn't feel as "special" as Camden Yards. Petco park is cool, but id go to the Twins or Astros park before I went there, Id go to the beach if I was in SD lol
Being shocked by Oracle being #2 is weird That park is incredibly dope and unlike any other park. The worst thing about it is probably that it's in San Francisco lol
Safeco is still My favorite stadium I’ve been to, including 2nd GABP , 3rd Petco , Coors Field , New Yankee stadium, Chase Field AZ. , Angels Stadium , Chavez Ravine , Yet to make Wrigley or Fenway . Still can’t believe I didn’t take the trip to Fenway when I was going to NYC fairly often …. Now I’ll have to take an actual specific trip to most likely catch Fenway before it’s no mo , which is well worth it , would just have to get the spot on My priority list . I will do Wrigley Vs Reds in the next yr - 2 when Reds are on their way to World Series Championship or Defending on their way to Back to Back. 💪😁 I’ve caught 4 MiLB Parks 2 in Vegas 😁 Old Cashman Field and the beautiful New LV Ball Park That’s A Beautiful AAA Facility Also saw Co Springs Sky Sox in that turd hole of facility. It was even worse than old Cashman Field . Also been to Louisville Bats and that’s a really nice Ball Park as well , like Vegas. Those are 2 Great AAA Ball Fields Spring Training is some of the funnest Catch 2 - 3 games a day for 3-5 days straight. That’s a fun trip with a couple of My buddies we’ve done 4x. Super Dope Times of MLB Those are cool little Parks too They’re like Top Notch AAA Parks I Love Baseball 😁 “ Have You seen My Bateball ?? 😳”
