Shredding the gnar with our mini me: A family snowboard adventure!
Hey shredders! Today I'm taking you on a heartwarming adventure with my little ripper, Cash, as we carve fresh powder at Schweitzer Mountain in Idaho. ❄️
As a parent, there's nothing quite like sharing your passions with your kids, and snowboarding is definitely one of ours. Watching Cash find her flow on the mountain is like witnessing a beautiful ballet - pure grace and confidence, even when tackling the unknown.
This run was extra special because Cash is still early in her journey of tackling fresh powder snowboarding. It's a whole different beast than groomed runs, but this little force of nature just went for it! Sure, she got stuck a few times, but her resilience and determination to keep going were truly inspiring.
And guess what? This 7-year-old already making toe turns on black diamonds (see this video: • Finally getting some p... ), putting my 26 years of shredding (and instructing!) to shame! But hey, that's what it's all about, right? Passing the stoke torch to the next generation. Nothing more fun than watching kids snowboarding!
