Winter Summer is a parody of Winter Sonata but the main lead is not some washed up sex fiend going to America and dressed in a tacky American flag jacket.@@Marskirakun_Prime
@David Moore I'm English mate. I do consultancy work for lots of companies one of my biggest is based in LA. I love a lot of things about the states but some laws, thoughts and actions from you guys are an utter amazement to me. You can go to war and die for your country a girl at 18 can take part in hardcover porn movie , you can drive , own a gun and vote BUT you can't have a beer until you're 21. Utter madness
@David Moore don't get me wrong I think 16/17 is OK to drive its just ridiculous to be 21 to drink An old joke from a comedian I can't remember is , Americans drink to have a good time , the French drink to socialise and the English drink to projectile vomit across the room 🤣 I've 3 kids , daughter 23 , 2 boys 15 and 12. From 13 I would let my kids have a glass of wine or a beer occasionally (family gatherings Xmas etc) so that the novelty of alcohol was gone by the time they are/will be old enough to drink. Not once has my daughter drank beyond excess, her friends have and do . My eldest son has been at parties where friends have got really drunk but he never has. The French almost encourage a glass of wine with a meal for teens and don't have alcohol issues like the us and UK do. Tell a person they can't do something and they'll try like hell to do it. I'm an ex Royal Marine and I drank myself into ridiculous states as a kid. I know allowing controlled moderate consumption at a reasonable age removes the mystery
I love how right after he says he's staying, the Mr. Booze song plays, and the song starts right at "Who's to blame? (who's to blame?) We know his name, his name is, Mr Booze!"
@@virajanand7535 In 90s Pacman game, Pacman would go around eating little crumbs and make a funny mechanical noise. Here Pacman goes under the sheet and presumably eating Mrs Pacman's vagina with the same mechanical sound playing in the background. This is why she has that big smile on her face lol.

Damn. Asian soaps and anime, anything they do story telling wise really hits hard and strong in your feels. American Johnny would be a really good real show. I actually felt teary eyed in this episode. Reminded me of other stories I watched.
3:43 Peter, Cleveland, and Joe: 😭😭😭 (crying) 3:45 Peter: 😢 Why?! Why would American Johnny leave Korea?! He had everything! Love a family. Why would he go back to a sad pathetic batch life on America? He’s got nothing there! Why would he ever wanted to go home?
When I was in the 6th grade my teacher said ' there's a new kid in our school with the same last name as yours ' . I was introduced to a Korean boy named Yong who I discovered was the stepson of one of my cousins who'd lived in Korea and married a widow who then came to the states with him. I grilled him with questions about Korea because I was fascinated by the idea of someone with such a different background than my own. Yong wound up being a good dude and now he is a mathematics professor in Pennsylvania.
The airport scene reminds me so much the time I was in the Korean airport when Russell Crowe arrived and a huge crowd gathered to take photos of him. I had to ask someone who it was because I didn’t recognize him but those Koreans certainly did.
I think they picked the name "Johnny" because back in the mid to late 80s this phrase was extremely popular in South Korea when they were adapting to exchanging cultures with the US. The phrase: "Here's... Johnny!"
Neither! You’re not a real korean but a skimmed down American korean person….you guys aren’t the same since koreans aren’t sensitive snowflakes like you Americans😂
Man, plenty things about Korea in this episode are really accurate, even the writings in Hangul (at the airport, the sign next to the baggage claim one literally says "syuteukeiseu"). Family Guy writers actually did their homework here.
