The Subway joke is because a couple of decades ago a guy lost an enormous amount of weight eating Subway sandwiches and he became their spokesperson. Then it came out about 7 or 8 years ago that he was a pedophile and he got 15 years in prison. The Michael Vick thing is savage when Brian says he hopes it's painless and peaceful because Vick violently killed the dogs himself.

Michael Vick wasn't jailed for dog fighting. He was jailed for torturing and executing dogs he was trying to raise to be fighters. He started a kennel and used basically street dogs, didn't know what he was doing and because none of them would fight he was basically killing every dog that was born at his kennel. To kill them he'd hold their head under water in a bucket until they drowned, or toss a rope over a tree branch, put it around the dog's neck and hoist them up so only their back legs were touching. If they didn't quite die from either of those methods he'd pick them up by their hind legs and bash them into the ground. I constantly see people defend him because he was a great football player. While that's true, he is also cruel and egocentric. He could have easily dispatched each dog with a single bullet. The truth is.... he enjoyed killing those dogs with his hands..

@10:10 I just want to explain the Ray Rice one in case you're not American or just don't keep up with American football. Ray Rice was a running back for the Baltimore Ravens who got in trouble while he was still playing and on top of his game and was honestly such a good running back, especially for someone his size, cause tho he had good weight on him he was a little on the short side haha. But one night I reckon him and his wife got into an argument or something in the elevator and he was caught on the cctv in the elevator actually hitting and I think knocking her out and then dragging her out of the elevator. And of course after that I'm pretty sure he never played another down. But I will say, if I remember correctly that him and her ended up staying together and working everything out and he supposedly has done a lot to change his life and keep his family together and get forgiveness from his wife, im almost positive thats what I heard in this lil doc or RU-vid video where someone went into detail about it. But yeah, it was really bad and messed up and he made one big mistake and it cost him his career, but tbh when you decide to do stupid shit like hitting women and dragging them out the elevator by her hair, then you kind of have to expect that would happen to you honestly. But the last I heard, he went back to his hometown and was named the running back coach at his old high-school or I think it was his hometown high-school that he went to. Anyway though, it is nice to hear that his talent didn't completely go to waste and that he is at least still able to help the next generation of players train, be a positive impact in some of these kids lives, and given his past he is able to tell and show some of the dos and donts of what to do when you're in college/NFL. I don't mean about like domestic violence or nun cause that should almost be common sense, but just good advice on football and life in general.

Ray Rice knocked his wife out cold in an elevator. At first he received a minor penalty for it, but then TMZ got a hold of the EXTREMELY graphic video and public pressure on the NFL went through the roof. He was pretty much run out of the league.

But tbh, I'm just glad him and the girl were able to work things out and stay together, obviously as long as he really did change his ways and not put his hands on her again and respected her. But it's crazy cause like just a few weeks after what happened, they got married and they actually have 2 kids now and seem to be a happy family. I really wish he would've gotten another chance because this really did just seem like his worst moment ever and his biggest lapse in judgement and in a drunken moment, which is no excuse and that's not what I'm trying to make cause it's still should be common sense to not hit her, he made the mistake of doing what he did. Which I obviously feel worse for his gf at the time and now wife. He honestly really did seem remorseful and the way I see it is, if the lady who it happened to can forgive him then the NFL and another team should've give him another chance, but just give him certain parameters to follow. He was a great player and a 3 time pro bowler in the short time he was in thr NFL, and he also offered to donate his game checks to domestic violence charities and said this about why he wanted to donate his checks to charity: “Me donating my salary is something that’ll be from the heart for me. I only want to play football so I can end it the right way for my kids and for the people that really believed in me. But I know there’s a lot of people affected by domestic violence, and every dollar helps. It’s raising awareness. People need homes. People need shelter when they’re in a crucial situation. I’ve donated a lot of money to charities, but I had a situation where it was a national crisis. I’m not saying I’d be (donating the salary) to get on the field, but it’s something that will show where my heart is. My heart is about finishing the right way and helping people along the way.” I really believe he did change after this incident and was truly sorry for his actions and after being scrutinized so much just wanted the chance to show the world on the field and off that he was still a great player and he was still a great man and that his actions that night wouldn't happen again.
