yea early seasons family guy is golden because each character has their own distinct personality that plays so well on each other in specific contexts. new family guy doesnt care at all about any of that.
For the Stewie Cartman question Cartman is more evil and manipulative. But Stewie is definitely more dangerous if you look at some of his feats from the show. Not only would he beat up Cartman in a fist fight he has also created time machines and been to multiple universes etc.
In the early seasons Stewie was more evil than Cartman, I remember he kept children from the playground in an underground trap and he killed a bunch of people. But Stewie isn't as evil as before
I’m not going to say greatest but bro. Seasons 1-8 of family guy were so fucking good bro. Everything after that to me just feels dead honestly but those early seasons were peak
Notice how when the characters are more grounded the shows are better. Like Peter was lobotomized to a point where Lois being married amd having multiple children with him might be a crime because of how mentally stunted current peter has become
0:50 Every cartoons have early prototypes designs for characters. Even the Simpsons looked different in their beginnings. Heck even South Park. So yeah. 1999 stewie was something else. Also at 2:56 peter laughing instead of his iconic hehehehehehehehehe also at 3:13 , the guy in pink was supposed to be quagmire in the early prototype version of this episode
At least Stewie has a conscience & feelings, unlike Cartman LMAOO I love them both but Stewie is the lesser of 2 evils, especially since he simmers down later in the series😂😂
I agree with @SXLLYSTRXNG cartman is more selfish for his own gain. Countless times he has screwed over everyone even laughing at a kid who literally was hanged in front of him. More evil than Stewie who is smarter than cartman but probably not business wise 😅😅
Continuity wise it doesn’t really matter the order but some things make an impact/ new characters/ characters dying. That you’d loose some impact jumping around. And not to mention seeing the elevation in animation quality over time is always nice
In general, the episodes can be watched out of order. Though there is some that require context from previous episodes or are part of a multi-episode arc (like Brian's death or Bertram).
My high score is 75 beers. I used to be a hardcore alcoholic. I went through 3 cases of beer on a Saturday, started at 5am and finished them at 7pm. Yes, my tolerance was that high, especially for me being morbidly obese.
I personally do like Family Guy but there are a lot of people who don't really like the style of humor and honestly it doesn't really matter you can watch it completely out of order W new show
Would definitely like to see this series continue. But I would probably recommend doing a couple episodes per video considering the show is still going on. This series could last a lifetime on a one episode per week basis lol
Cartman is more dangerous on an individual level. He’s more malevolent. Stewie is more dangerous in the sense that his inventions can cause massive unforeseen repercussions on a major scale.
I dig family guy and usually have the mini marathons on. So many crazy comments being thrown in. Sometimes they reach with the cutaways, but that's ok.
I say this all the time, but it's amazing how much more likable everyone is in the earlier episodes, back when Brian wasn't a massive prick, Peter was legitimately trying to be a good family provider, and Lois legitimately cared about all three of her kids. I don't know where the staff got this idea that making the characters less likable would instantly make them funnier, but yeah.
4:00 High score... Well... if I weighed as much as peter at the time it probably would have been ~37 comparative in body weight... I only had two modes when I used to drink... 'Probably should have stopped at 10' and 'Really should have stopped at 15' And that's why I dont drink... Too expensive.
Slightly off-topic but referencing the different strokes episode. You should look up the funny or die video for that episode. It’s a hilarious synopsis of that episode. It’s part of a very special episode series.
Early Family Guy is the greatest comedy of all time. I would personally go in order, as there may be the very odd continuity between jokes, but generally, no, it doesn't matter.
Each episode is its own but similar to South Park some are continues from each. You can jumped to the lestest season with no worries. But season 1-10 are best of family guy. The funniest memes out of them 😅
FUCK YES. The first 3 seasons changed my life as an 11 year old. So many of these are so quotable and I cannot forget them 😂😂😂fuck me you’re about to ruin my ocd life by putting old jokes back in my brain. Also Megs voice actor isn’t the same for the ENTIRE rest of the show. Oh btw my record is 90 in one night, beer is nothing, whiskeys what’s dangerous
I prefer American Dad, but early Family Guy is great! The first two seasons are significantly more charming and down to Earth. But the Brian/Stewie dynamic really starts to take off in seasons 3-7, which are edgier with more cringe/shock/endurance humor, but still good! Beyond that point, there are still some good episodes here and there, but most of the budget and the clever jokes land in the Brian/Stewie "Road to" episodes and the movie (or movie trope) parody episodes.
Family guy isn't really to watch I order, but sometimes there will be some references in other newer episodes. Some even go in the past to by cutaway or smt you'll see in season4
My beer record in one night is 24 Coors Lights and I didn't feel drunk in the slightest bit. Then again, I did take 6 hits of acid before that, so that might have had something to do with it. 🤔😂
This very first episode of Family Guy is awesome! I definitely enjoyed it watching with you!👍 You should definitely upload banger episodes from any season of the show.
Definitely on order so you get the understanding especially with how Stewie changes & has a friendship with Brian and end of the Brian/Peter friendship. Same for how Stewie changes from font trying to kill Lois and now doesn't. Peter was really stupid and inept on the first couple seasons and Lois was naive.
The first couple seasons of Family Guy were fairly different from the rest of the show, they were still search for a consistent direction. Probably the only consistent element was Stewie’s more diabolical persona, which faded after season 3. People who liked the show better when it re-launched in the mid-2000s tend to view the earlier episodes as underwhelming.
I feel like stewie is a little more dangerous than cartman because the weapons that stewie has actually work and cartman is more of a person who brags the most meanest things anyone would say
I feel like Stewie started off evil but he's chilled out a lot compared to what he was on in earlier seasons but Cartman, he had the opposite type of progression so I'd say Cartman is way more evil.
I’d go for the bangers, but at the same time the show does reference past episodes and has running gags so maybe do it like in order but only the bangers, ya know
14:30 I never seen the series but sadly it is. Both Robot Chicken and American Dad mentioned this as well. Bout as awkward as Smart Guy with that that pedo episode or Will getting shot near an ATM on Fresh Prince.
