If you watched the end of the episode, that isn't the case :( turned out he was scamming Meg for a green card -- even called her "fat American cow". I did like the ending where she got back at him.
Most people who took a chance to get to know Meg Griffin and keep away from her toxic AF parents and siblings would probably like her, to be honest. She's more stable and adjusted.
I visited ruzzia a few times (not Moscow, but exactly regions), it’s just a little exaggerated since it’s the animation series, but overall it’s true. Drunkards, gossipy grannies, dirt, almost everything’s old and grey. So no stereotypes.
I mean, it is exaggerated cuz it's a cartoon, I've never been to chelyabinsk but even we in Russia have been joking about this city that it's a hellhole lol, really unexpected to see it here
as a russian, I don't know, if I'm surprised by the fact, that people are so friendly towards her or that she finally found understanding in a small town with highly dangerous folks

She's not an official Disney princess for starters she's too ugly she's a TV show character and you have to start as a movie to be a part of the princess franchise and someone like Meg and never be a part

People do often forget that Meg's VA singing voice is actually very great. Also, this is a good spoof for Beauty and The beast Belle song. Edit: people comments it's not Meg's VA who does singing, I didn't know that.
The voice actor for Meg is not the same as the one that's singing Mila Kunis doesn't like to sing which is a shame because she's Ukrainian and this parody would have fit her better

@@dimitritome5118 К сожалению свободное общество как раз и приводит к войне. Чтоб был порядок должны быть законы, ограничения, правила и жесткое их исполнение. Свободная продажа оружия=стрельба в школах и магазинах, свобода слова=разжигание ненависти и призывы к восстаниям. Свобода выбора пола=полная деградация общества и спад демографического роста. Я счастлив что я Русский и живу в России. Тут есть закон, есть безопасность. Мы чтим традиции, изучаем историю, помним героев, уважение к старшим, защита детей. И стараемся относится ко всем так как хоте ли бы чтоб относились к нам.
I don't know when pretty much everyone in the show started treating Meg so sub-human, but I don't think it's been since season 1. I feel so bad for her because she can never catch a break, always being valued less than anything.
Юмор юмором, но в соседних городах знают - видишь на машине 74ый регион, старайся держаться подальше. Я как-то за день в ЧЛБ насчитал 14 аварий - в одной участвовал троллейбус, в который с разных углов въехали три машины, во второй седану просто капот оторвало. Один раз прямо на въезде увидел легковушку, которую камазом прижало к стене завода, проехал буквально метров 200 и второй камаз просто начал перестраиваться в меня, повезло, что у меня мотор мощный, выскочил, так бы было две тачки разбитые камазами вдоль одной стены. Пару раз чуть не влетал на трассе - просто вылетают не глядя со второстепенок. И это.... я не шучу, часто езжу в ЧЛБ, все реально мои наблюдения. По всей России был, хуже чем в ЧЛБ больше нигде не ездят.

Well, as Russian liberal, and anti-goverment protestor, want to say, this part is not reflect true. Actually, you'll be charged and go into jail, if you make parody statue about Putin. Like fake grave. But in terms of pride statue of Putin - it is still not a case. I think, we will not see it even in future years. I think, Putin is more like US/west Nazi. Z-fasists are connected to West groups of hate. And gold (or other statue) is something, what is about Asia culture. Russia is too west in terms of culture to accept things like this. Nazi germany usually didn't had Hitler statues. So, I don't expect Putin's statue even in time, when political regime will launch death camps (what I think, can be case very soon, because they loose the War in Ukraine, and they need to switch attention of Z-ombie citizen-Putin supporters).

as a resident of Chelyabinsk, I can say that many fellow countrymen were excited that our city was known in the West, although they did not expect anything good from this series. These are the most ordinary stupid, but funny griffins, and there is no point in being offended that the city it doesn't look close, but I'm still annoyed that you could come up with tougher jokes, given the history of this city-factory-forest.

To be honest, very bad. I remember the series where she tried to sing in Russian and as Russian I can say that it was like a mixture of some small Slavic languages from Eastern Europe, but definitely not Russian
@@teb_murman It's because Mila doesn't sing when voice acting, and another voice actress had to sing for her. If you work that into the canon, then Meg's ability to speak Russia varies based on if she is singing or talking. Mila is Ukrainian and speaks both a Russian dialect and an Ukrainian dialect.
In case anyone didn’t know Mia Kunis who dose the voice of Meg really do speak Russian. she even said it on a live interview on The Graham Norton Show.

Creators didn't catch that bad part of Soviet architecture which they could make mock of. City should be full of khrushchevkas and brezhnevkas. Buildings in clip are more European or of Stalin times which weren't that displeasing to eyes.

Товарищи, это типичный вид небольшого промышленного города. Столица так не выглядит (хотя есть несколько чудовищных промышленных районов). Возможно ещё три-четыре крупных города. Но вот дальше начинается КОШМАР! Особенно если это промышленный город или то, что в россии называют моно-город (то есть фактически построенный вокруг одного крупного промышленного предприятия и существующий только благодаря этому предприятию). В этом случае в данном видео мы фактически наблюдаем за настоящей действительностью.
It's funny that some outskirts of New York look like this rather than Russian cities. Only if there are small towns with a couple of hundred inhabitants or very old areas with dilapidated houses that are 80-90 years old. But in my city it’s very difficult to find one like this.
