Yes, it's when Peter released his feminine side, but to the extreme, and was blaming MEN for the worlds problems, not black men, but the joke is still in context, as the funny part is making it seem like he's talking about black people.

Correct. In that episode Peter has to go to a sensitivity camp and basically it works way too well and causes him to hate men. His friends try to get their friend back because he's a pain to be around like this, and Cleveland takes him to that march to respect his fellow man. So in context he's talking about all men in general, but the people actually present in universe don't know that part and voila, you have a helluva joke.

Frankly, most of the gags they make with a lot of things aren't really true. Like them in the jungle. In reality, the vast majority of slaves coming out of Africa were enslaved by other (yes, black) Africans. Then, said slavers would export said slaves, and not just to America. If anyone was looking for slave labor (and, as has been the case for most of human history, lots of people were), then they were willing to sell. Buyers of slaves also generally didn't care about where slaves came from, either, so long as the price was right. Hence why the first American slave owner, a black man, owned one black and two white slaves, and also why many slaves were either Asian (less common, due to the needed time investment to acquire said slaves at the time) or Irish (much more common, but less common than black slaves almost exclusively due to supply issues, a small island versus an entire continent). Most of the bits are still funny, though, regardless of pretty blatant inaccuracy.

@@Sin_Alder That's only partially true. The West African concept of slavery (at that time) was vastly different than Americans. In fact, the history of slavery in Europe became vastly different than their American counterparts. This is why other countries frown on American racism. I only know this because I had to do a paper on it. I'm not trying to give you sh*t.
