Depends on what the joke is. If you say something about black people, white people or even asian people, I'mma laugh because black people talk shit about each other more than any other race talks about us. We as a community can say some stupid shit to each other & it would all be fun & games. But not everything is to be joked about tho.

Facts Dee like gen Z really is the most depressed(I’m apart of gen Z so nobody come for me) like there’s so many times I’m with my friends we’re all young teens and then they get depressed because they put too much pressure on themselves or because they’re caring too much about what people say about them
That's not a generation thing, that's part of growing up. Everyone has feelings of inadequacy, especially at that age, and won't know what to do about them if they're not handled correctly. I wish people would stop attributing normal things to one group or another. There are entire fields dedicated to studying humans and professionals that can understand others quickly because we're all the same at our core. Even the divergences are predictable.
@@typhlosionisbest yea it’s not a generation thing but gen z is the generation who’s been exposed to the media at their teen ages so of course it impacts them lol
there’s a line between social justice and being aware and just doing too much to be woke / toxic oversensitivity which a lot of people blur over and don’t realize...
Everyone’s so sensitive because they wanna feel offended FOR everyone. They wanna be the savior for people who are “oppressed”, when in reality, they’re doing more harm than good.
Okay here is the thing, when someone tells a subjective joke that someone does not like, all the have to say is "can you please not say that around me?" No blame no shame. Noone is a mind reader and no-one knows what is or isn't offensive to someone else. Now, after that, if they say it again, THEN you can get angry. Noone is upfront or they're they get mad over jokes when the other person isn't Jean fucking Grey and they don't know if it sets them off or not. And yes, the "that's so gay" thing can get annoying but instead of getting on my moral high horse I would ask that person "hey, I can you tone that down?" That's all.
Well Idk. Holding my tongue when I hear someone being homophobic or overall idiotic has done more damage than good to me. Now that I’m speaking up more, people want to shut me down for being “too sensitive” and I refuse to let my opinions be dismissed because you don’t want to be open minded. If that all makes sense.
See for me it just made me stronger , Like I understand , but I just go along w the flow cuz at the end of the day it’s a waste of time , but I do draw a line but I don’t get triggered easily and understand tho
@@lemonade_011 not speaking up just let's horrible things continue to happen. All the greats most of them were killed why ? Because they spoke up so if it's more if a threat to stand up for what's right then not say anything I would say speaking up makes you stronger and shows the most courage. And those people are still being talked about living forever while everyone else if following the crowd being silent
@@lemonade_011 also people dont know the difference between looking for trouble and when trouble comes standing up to it. People are all or nothing either your to heartless or to sensitive.
That's different. Dee is talking about casual conversation flows like saying "gay" mid sentence, etc, which has nothing to do with homophobia but more so of just poor choice of words.
@@ce6256 Your angry today your Starbucks order get messed up? That’s not homophobic let me give you an example. Your playing a game and your friend will not stop killing you from behind you blurt out ‘ that’s so gay” his actions can be taken as scaredy cat like and being “gay” alright PC warriors? Also Gay can be used as happy if your grandmother blurts out that’s so gay when something happy happens she most likely means happy. If you blurt that statement out and your gay does that make you scared of yourself? No it does not you can have opinions but that’s just being willfully ignorant
as a gay person, i see why it makes some people feel a type of way when you use “gay” in a negative way because it subconsciously hints that gay is a negative thing but i can’t complain cause i call people & things gay all the time lmfaoo
I disagree... I hate when people are right next to me knowing I’m gay and say that’s gay or something like that because it’s using it as a negative thing idk it bugs me. Like why do you say when I’m right here know I’m gay. Use a different word. Boom simple they won’t do it again well near me....
@@josephlopez5404 what do you mean you disagree ? you said you hate when people say it , & i said i can understand why it makes people feel a type of way when used negatively. so.... which part do you disagree with cause we are saying pretty much saying the same thing ?? i-
Autism is a spectrum disorder meaning it varies in severity. Also, the way it manifests varies greatly from person to person; autistic people do not all think or behave in the same way. Hope this helps.
@@Mr123Gibson You proving her point. You've pinpointed certain aspects of what she said without considering fully what she said. Now you're being alert for no reason.
@@Mr123Gibson tbf in my school all the people with disabilities got all the attention as for me the half death I got bullied but I got bullied cause colour of my hair but I heard in other school kids bully people with disabilities I feel bad for them the way people take advantage of them but about this video I saw a dude with a disability react to this and he thought it was funny
Mind you when us millennials were growing up we had all kinds of non pc entertainment I guess millennials who get offended easily must've forgot about that or their just sensitive people. We could call each other retards at school and no one would care including the teachers😂 But don't try and say Gen z doesn't get offended it's been getting worse throughout the years with all this cancel culture BS. Gen z is just as much a part of the cancel/ offended culture. The millennials who were sensitive passed the baton on to some gen z and their running with it 🏃♂️💨 😂
I don’t know if I’m Gen Z or not but as a 21 y/o I agree😭😂😂 we’ve entered an era of hypersensitivity and it’s odd. It’s almost like now people have an agenda behind justice that devalues the very word😂 I kinda like it tho cause it makes it easier to distinguish the talkers from walkers😂 you said it best people should get offline and DO something if they care that much
People really aren’t being extra sensitive, we as a society are just holding people accountable. Having people in my family that are special does make me mad when someone says “You are being retarded.” because now I feel like your talking about my special cousin. The thing is people are quick to say people are overreacting when I bet you they haven’t experienced that so just respect when someone corrects you and move on. I’m not saying you need to cuss people out but tell them in a respectful manner.
@Katie Does Games Exactly I would never cuss someone out but I will be very upset if I heard the word. I am 100% going to tell them that, that’s not cool saying that in a respectful manner.
As a dad to a disabled little girl I don't get why people get so offended I mean I'd probably get offended if someone came to to me or my little girl and made a really horrible joke directed at her only but just taking the piss in general I find it funny I cant explain it it's weird but people need to get a sence of humor if it's funny its funny p.s couldn't stop laughing all the way through this .. and I love your reactions
The thing is, it’s not about you, you’re not the disabled one. How about we actually listen to the voices of the people impacted by said slurs and such.
@Chase Conner you do realize saying slurs and things as “that’s gay”, creates a stigma towards those people right?? How about we just keep our mouths shut and once again listen to the people impacted by the slurs, and if they don’t have the ability to speak, then we listen to the people of the community who can. Not hard.
@@brandynlovett4054 you’re not getting my point, idc if a minority doesn’t care. I’m trying to say that saying things such as “That’s gay” for example, creates a stigma that the word “Gay” is bad, and being gay is a bad thing. Doing that drives it into peoples minds. Especially children, I’ve seen little kids develop that mindset because of immature adults. Can you see what I’m trynna say?
I never used the R word since my sister is autistic. I don't really use words that are offensive on people to be mean because I'm homo so I feel I don't have no room to be offensive lol.

You DO realize that being THAT PC about EVERYTHING is GOING to turn humanity into a bunch of KARENS AND KENS !!!! How depressing would THAT be for EVERYONE else !!!
Autistic people are all different. That's why the term us autism spectrum disorder, and it's not linear, either. I met multiple other autistic people, and none of them behave like me or each other.
Bingo i agree but if they get offended thats their issue especially if i didn't wish to harm or rape upon them or harm them in any way. I know a few who got offended of saying Hi to them. So i just don't care im do me entirely they are just mentally depressed. They even create more scenarios in their mind to get angrier which then becomes funny its like they trolling their own depression.
Ye.. When people get offended, it's even harder for special needs people like us because we don't know that what we say can offend someone who's easily offended by everything.
Ppl get hella mad if you joke and say retarded out loud now.. and that’s all we used to say on the playground 🤷🏾♀️🤣 now they lookin at you liked you killed someone.😒
Girl- that word is only used to offend people, it literally has no other purpose. Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean it can't affect other people
@@electraheart5870 It’s not just used to offend people. I use it when I’m talking about something that doesn’t make sense, it’s just natural. And yea idc who gets offended
I mean using gay as an insult is annoying bc wtf do that even mean like if someone were to drop something or do anything wrong and will be called gay for it like if that makes sence
of course people have the right to get offended by certain shit but a lot of people take shit to a whole other level . yes some stuff is funny or whatever like its a cool lil joke but people have to understand that a lot of shit people say is way too far & its because of how older people grew up & what they said back then , they dont understand that . now as far as the gay thing , a lot of straight people dont realize the shit they say is mad offensive , i mean for one , youre not LGBT so you wont really understand . but yeah , lil jokes & shit i can take & understand like yeah its funny , whatever . but its so much shit that people take to a whole different level & still think that its funny but its not at all 😩. ive been calling people retarted for my whole life & i actually never knew it was this serious until months ago & i never knew people used that word to basically put down SPED people like how the n & f words are . but yes , people get overly sensitive about a lot of stuff but a lot of people dont realize how actually sensitive some stuff yall say & do is to a lot of people . but ofc , majority wont realize .
Why do y'all have to make this a generation thing tho, it depends in the person wether or not they feel offended. If someone thinks something is fucked up then let themm, it's so annoying when people say "oh this generation is full of snowflakes, this generation finds everything offensive" like.... no. We all find different things offensive and I don't see the reason why we shouldn't speak about it
