"Family Guy" - Stern Pinball, 2007 (unboxing and review) 

Some extra episode references for those interested: Crazy Chris mode is from "Brian The Bachelor", where Chris has a talking zit on his face. The TV-quotes (when mode not lit) are from "I Never Met The Dead Man" where Meg takes the blame for Peter crashing the car into the TV Satellite. The Death-target quotes from "Death Is A Bitch", where death gets incapacitated after he slipped on a puddle of water , Sperm Attack is based on "Emission Impossible", where Stewie shrinks his self inside his space-ship to microscopic size, entering Peter's body to destroy his sperm and meets Bertram for the first time and last, the end game match animation and dialog (edited) is from Barely Legal.

Hey spida1a! It’s been 8 years since I watched this video (used to watch it all the time). When I used to watch it I was 12 and wanted the family guy pinball machine so bad. I now have enough money but am not going to buy one until I can afford to support myself AND still buy a pinball machine. You are an inspiration with all those awesome machines you have!

Because of this review in 07', I bought one of these... Awesome game.. Women love playing this game, just a few beers in em' and they won't stop playing it..

@theelfkilla The bill isn't bad at all (if only one game is on at a time, which is usually the case). The artwork is the same on both sides, you can easily see what it looks like without any mirror. Wow...I can't imagine trying to keep finger prints off of that. :) Thanks for watching.

I just played this pinball on my PC on the game Future Pinball. It's fun!

I played this table in an arcade in Oklahoma, it was the only pinball machine they had, though.

@Lorrer09 I owned Monopoly at one point so...I could do a quick overview of it (using some old photos and videos, maybe a "My Past Pinball Collection."). However, I do not own a LOTR.... so... :)

I kind of played this great table today. It was Shrek Pinball, but I recognized the table layout almost immediately, mainly the mini playfield being rebranded as "donkey pinball". I was pretty excited, but donkey pinball was broken and immediately resulted in losing and only gaining a million. I think the mini ball was stuck on something.

dammit . . . . now I wish I had that pinball machine. xD it looks a like a lot of fun, and I love all the refs they made from the several episodes (hell, I was surprised they added the scene you mentioned you didn't like, the Ipecac contest). oh well, if I can ever find it, I'll most definitely give it a shot. :D

@Evilclown1986 Yes, Shrek is basically the same design. They just changed the artwork and ROM and such (so they could make a "family friendly" version of this particular design). It's actually a nice looking game in its own right. But, I enjoy the original design and release (mostly because I like the theme of Family Guy, you know?). Thanks!!

@weirdproq1 They slapped Shrek onto the game, yes. They felt they would be able to sell a more "family friendly" theme and made a limited run of it. You can run the Shrek software on Family Guy, ha ah. :)

Last year I wanted to buy a brand new Family Guy pinball because the playfield looked awesome. I couldn't find any more new ones so I got Shrek instead.

@samo0701 It was a special short run of the same design, yes. They created it to be more "family friendly" with the them (since Family Guy wasn't good for some locations). It's not a bad looking game...I like it.

@spida1a do you ever have problems with your "death" target? I keep having problems with mine. The plastic with all the wires in it keeps slipping off the metal on the bottom of the machine. It's easy to fix but a pain to keep fixing over and over.

Why do sometimes if you shoot the ball into the spinner sometimes it will shoot it back out and other times it will shoot it behind the upper playfeild or even the other side of the table.

Can you identify a pinball game for me? It was probably from the late 1980s early 90s. The main theme was playing cards. I used to play it all the time and would like to look it up on the net but don't know where to start. thank you for the great videos. There is an Addams Family game near here but the third flipper no longer works. :(

@dadofducks Hey there! If I was in the "hobby" at this moment? Hmm...I am not sure. Ha ha! A new Stern? Probably Batman: Dark Knight. Older game? Maybe a Cyclone to go with my Taxi or a Williams Indiana Jones. Cactus Canyon is WAY too expensive for me. Ha ha! So, no...I will probably never have that particular one.
