This channel is dedicated to TurboGrafx-16 / TurboDuo reviews and Pinball machine overviews with a dose of nostalgia, history and memories! Thanks for viewing my videos and I hope you enjoy them!
I will continue making "review" and "quickie" videos for stuff in my gameroom and for the ongoing series "TURBOVIEWS" (where every U.S. TurboGrafx game will eventually be covered!).
God, this game was so annoying. I also really wanted to like it as a kid, and I certainly couldn't articulate why I was failing at it, but yeah, the controls are just so bad.
This pinball game deserves a rerelease, so badly. Its amazing finding the authentic ones online but i never even knew about the 2007 rerelease of it, and of course there were only 190 produced- probably one of my favorite pinballs for a curious amateur like me
I remember encountering this machine when I went to Atlantic City the week before I posted this comment. My family was on a little road trip for my birthday and the second day we visited the Showboat hotel to check out the indoor water park, but after the water park we went to the massive arcade they had. But the arcade also had a separate “Pinball Gallerie” with a collection pinball cabinets with one of them being The Addams Family. I spent most time playing Family Guy and noticed that it along with the Addams Family cabinet were retrofitted with full color dot-matrix screens instead of the original orange ones.
I remember seeing the TG16 next to a NES at the local Walmart for anyone to play. One thing that stood out was the game play of Keith Kourage but what made me a fanboy of the NES was the simple color pallete of SMB.
This version is the worst! The game is already difficult, but this version makes the game even more faster. Hudson Soft didn't understand anything in video games...
Just beat the game tonight yet again. This time on the Turbo Grafx CD version. You have to use a totally different hit set in that one to beat the game
I mean, that’s what I imagining this. someone won high score on F1 tomcat pinball bright flashes everywhere! Knock, knock all right what’s going on in there?
18:53 imagine that we see people on your pinball parties just walk in past the basement window and you see these lights flashing they would be like what the heck is that the police parked inside are people partying too hard?!
hi buddies, i own a pc engine duo r and works fine in a 40inches bravia but with a crt 14 inches the cd drive loops many games!. what do u think about it??
After having beaten both games, I think Legendary Axe 1 is the better game in every way. The pulpy jungle hero aesthetic and charging mechanics make the game more original, Legendary Axe 2 is far more punishing upon death, I think the sequel both looks and runs worse, and it fails to fix the first game's biggest flaw, that being the outrageous difficulty curve. Both have the exact same problem, one boss that is a complete mountain of trash and makes the actual final boss look like a pushover by comparison, and one that becomes a regular enemy immediately afterwards. Cut out the spearmen and the golden robots and both of these games become ten times better.
Backup Memory? We didn't have that, we had to write that craziest longest code ever and pray that it would work. Lots of bummer moments with that most ridiculous password of all time not working. Too bad he didn't show it.
