The original show you kind of had to suspend your disbelief a little to watch, and this is coming from a show that had a man turn into a super powered Feen Monster whenever he got angry. It was an 80's show about a comic superhero so it's a little corny at times but it had pretty good drama and decent action. Also they changed Bruce Banner to "David Banner" because the show writer thought "Bruce" has too gay of a name.
I always love when they do stuff like that how they make sure to get all of the details so down pat not just make something similar. There's even a side-by-side comparison clip on RU-vid.
Me too! It brings a little tear to my yes remembering that classic show, the theme and the great portrayal of both Dr. Banner and the Hulk himself. Timeless.
@@franksandoval6046 I'm not sure what you're trying to say. I'm also not sure why I wrote that first comment! It was two years ago though, so who cares.
I was kind of stunned how perfectly done this was.. Then I was stunned after reading the comments below by the lack of knowledge how perfectly done this was. LOL.
Seth loves Trek and even had a cameo on Enterprise, not to mention The Orville. With his love of Marvel, he deserves a cameo in MCU as well -- although I'd love it if he pulled another Orville by giving us a lookalike superhero series of his own creation.
Stegodon Thats the whole point lol, Edward Norton was just some regular middle aged white dude compared to Lou Ferrigno who was an Olympic Level bodybuilder.

Well, everybody knows that the bird is the word! A-well-a bird, bird, b-bird's the word!!!!!!!!!!
In the case of Bruce Banner that's pretty on point his dad was an unhinged psychopath who'd beat his ass whenever he'd hit the bottle again, nobody liked him when he got angry
I remember seeing this, I couldn't stop laughing at how close and accurate it was to the original TV intro. I completely lost it when Stewie says I hurt myself changing this tyre 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely brilliant 😂
Whenever my husband swaps out a flat, he now always says, "Ow! I hurt myself changing this tire!" Then he flexes and screams, "RAAAARGH!" It's only funny to him...
It was accidental, he set the radiation to a low level but the technicians changed the dials without changing the labeling on the numbers or something like that and that's how he overdosed
Yes. Banner in the TV show came up with his idea for the experiment because he had failed to save his wife in a car accident even though genetically he should have been capable of doing it due to his naturally high levels of adrenaline. He realized that in the recorded instances of people temporarily gaining super human strength to save loved ones there was another factor besides biology the other researchers had failed to notice, namely increased gamma rays in the environment due to sun spots. Impatient to test the theory of gamma induced super strength he used a machine to try the theory on himself but he failed to realize the machine had been recently upgraded by the facility to be able to emit 5 times more gamma rays than before due to the interface for the machine not being altered to reflect that fact. As a result he overdosed on gamma energy and was mutated into the hulk.
This was hilarious 😂! And it fits for Stewie since he has a science-fiction level intelligence in creating his inventions. I wish it had been an entire episode!
+jacob harris They actually did that, but it was in an earlier episode called "Wasted Talent" from season 2. You can find it on the Family Guy volume 1 DVD set. It is on disc 4, episode 6.
That was very cool, they went for exact. Even right down to the jacket Stewie was wearing by the Tombstone. The theme music is classic late 70's. Great job !
I was watching this video and the original incredible hulk intro at the same time and i gotta say....how fucking accurate this is, i mean they didn't miss a scene
The funny thing is that hulk show is far superior to whatever family guy does now look up that hulk saves kid from abusive father episode to know what i mean.
+Will's Book Channel It's a direct shot-for-shot remake of the opening credits of the old Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno Incredible Hulk series, not a trailer. It's nearly word-for-word, too, other than changing the characters' names and adding in Stewie's "I hurt myself" whine, and it uses the original music, too.
It was SO perfectly done, I wanna go watch incredible hulk now. Well almost. Back to watching videos and lying in my bed. Ow I hurt myself when I dropped phone on my face! Rawr!
Bugs Bunny: comedian, TV personality, rabbit. Searching for a way to tap into the strengths that all rabbits have. Then an accidental overdose of gamma radiation alters is body chemistry, and now whenever Bugs Bunny gets angry or outraged a startling metamorphosis occurs. *TURNS INTO BIG CHUNGUS
Stewie Griffin: scientist. inventor, infant. Searching for a way to tap into the hidden strengths that all humans have. Then an accidental overdose of gamma radiation alters his body chemistry. And nowwhenever Stewie Griffin grows angry or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs. Stewie Griffin: Ow I hurt myself changing this tire The creature is driven by rage and pursued by an investigative reporter. Stewie Griffin: Mr. Tucker, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry. The creature is wanted for a murder he didn't commit. David Banner is believed to be dead, and he must let the world think that he is dead, until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within him. Peter Griffin/Hulk: (Roars)
fun fact: the guy who narrated the original intro to the incredible hulk 70s tv series was none other than ted cassidy, the actor who played lurch on the addams family... he also voiced the hulk in the first 2 seasons...
