I’m currently doing inpatient medicine in 3rd year and I love it! It’s definitely tiring, but I’m learning a ton. Thanks for the vid, doc!

Me or Adnan? For me, it was the possibility of doing sports, and I loved working with kids and OB patients. You can do Med/peds but it’s a longer track. Also almost all fellowships with IM are 3 years, FM is just 1

@@doctor_ej gotcha yeah I was asking from you or Adnan, that totally makes sense! I think I really wanna do heme/onc so I have to do IM but FM is also really appealing to me but its crazy the breadth that you guys can see, I might apply to FM and IM but we'll see how things go, just an MS1 as of now, do many people apply to both FM and IM?

Was an employee in Ann Arbor and the 3rd year residents Inpatient medicine at the University of Michigan Hospital say it can get crazy busy within 12 hours but they truly enjoy it. Bless your heart brother. I know Madison is crazy busy as well so tell her keep working hard. Have a bless one bro 😊 (Why am I so long winded 😒)

Do you have any tips for studying for OSCEs?

Yes! Practice the cases with your classmates. That’s the best way to feel comfortable. I would also do practice notes a day or two before to get used to writing the note in 10 min.

Noted! This video format is easier for me in terms of time, but after intern year the schedule becomes easier/ less time intensive so hopefully I can bring that style back eventually!
